2023-05-082022-06-022023-05-082022-01-14http://repositorio.ifam.edu.br/jspui/handle/4321/1185Breast cancer is the most frequent type of neoplasm in bitches, and for this reason, the study of its causes and predisposing factors has become increasingly relevant for efficient prophylaxis, as there is much controversy on the subject. This work aimed to bring together the main works that have as object of study the breast cancer and find points of consensus, through the literature review. It was possible to observe that, despite different lines of studies, is suggested that the prevention of breast cancer is through spaying, and that associated care, such as proper dietary management and not using contraceptives reduce the risk of neoplastic development.
