2022-08-022022-08-022019-02-17http://repositorio.ifam.edu.br/jspui/handle/4321/945The Municipality of Parintins, along almost three decades, lives with the problem of the adequate destination of solid urban waste, in view of the guidelines and principles set forth in the National Policy on Solid Waste - PNRS, Law no. 12,305 / 2010, the present research was carried out with the objective of evaluating the solid waste management in the Municipality of Parintins / AM through the practical applicability of the National Solid Waste Policy. It is an exploratory and descriptive study, with a quantitative and qualitative approach. It was used as research techniques, bibliographical, documentary, intensive direct observation and photographic records.
