The research started by inspecting different defective equipment, selecting and categorizing faults, performing measurements on a specific system. Inputs and outputs were conditioned, PLC and frequency inverter were configured. The methodology consisted of collecting information on the different control and driving force systems of the elevator, making visits to the location where the equipment is located.
