It is a common joint disease in dogs, especially in medium and large breeds. Clinical signs vary widely, from intermittent claudication to acute pain and voluntary paresis. The definitive diagnosis is made only through radiographic examination, following standards of execution and interpretation. Clinical treatment includes weight loss, controlled exercise, anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications, physiotherapy that allows muscle strengthening and analgesia of the animal. Surgical treatment depends on the evolution of the disease.Acesso Abertocão, claudicação, displasia coxofemoral.dog, lameness, hip dysplasia.CNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::ZOOTECNIATratamento Fisiátrico em cães com displasia coxofemoral.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso
