Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas - Campus Manaus Distrito Industrial, Manaus, 2024.http://repositorio.ifam.edu.br/jspui/handle/4321/1508This study proposed the identification of the difficulties of student public transport and alternative transport presented by students who attend the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, Campus Manaus Distrito Industrial (IFAM-CMDI). Using a bibliographic review method and personal interview through a questionnaire available via the internet. The bibliographic review aimed to identify concepts, theories and studies related to the topic, while the personal interview consisted of analyzing the study location, to identify day-to-day problems and failures regarding student public transport. It was also observed a lack of knowledge about the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988 regarding education, where student school transport is a duty of the State and guarantees the student's access and permanence in the school environment.
