In these municipalities, diesel thermoelectric plants are usually presented as the most viable option for energy generation. This fuel was used in the generation of electricity in Coari until 2020, when Siemens started operating a gas-fired thermoelectric plant in the city. The main objective of this work is to analyze the operating conditions of the new plant and the results achieved. As an introduction, the energy sector in the country and in the state of Amazonas was addressed, as a way of contextualizing and justifying the relevance of the theme. There was also a brief presentation of the installed plant, raising hypotheses and questions about it. Data regarding the supply contract and average fuel price were obtained through agencies and public companies in the sector, such as ANEEL and EPE. After the presentation of the theoretical framework, technical data disclosed by the turbine manufacturer (Siemens) was collected. The simulation software RETScreen, developed by the Government of Canada, made it possible to carry out the analyses. The results showed that the project is economically profitable for the company contracted to supply the energy and that the electricity generated in the gas plant with combined cycle costs 73% less than the energy produced in the diesel plants. The maximum power achieved by the plant was 38,891 kWh and the combined cycle efficiency was calculated at 49.63%. The objective of this work is to apply the NR-13 through a checklist when performing a hydrostatic test in a pressure vessel in the IFAM mechanics laboratory. It is a bibliographical and experimental research, of a qualitative nature. A thorough reading of NR-13 was sought, a list of items to be inspected based on NR-13 was produced and a hydrostatic test was performed with a pressure vessel in the mechanics laboratory, where the importance of integrity was highlighted structure of the vessel, since the rupture of a unit of it causes serious accidents. Its objective was to implement and evaluate an automation system that is easy to handle for the assembly process of the motorcycle rear marker product, since it was in high levels of absenteeism and rejection, and thus ensure safety standards, quality and ergonomics. For this purpose, a field study was used as a research tool in a PIM motorcycle company, through the collection of data related to the operation on the line and technical report records containing performance indicators. When analyzing the data, it was verified that the assembly of the lock of the flag contained the process with the highest index of ergonomic problems, it was verified that it could be improved by the implantation of a pneumatic device, improving production rates without incurring risks the involved employee. With the aid of design software, the device was designed, produced, tested and deployed in the line. The results obtained were the reduction of ergonomic risks, since the operator realized a considerable force for the operation, being a mechanical device without human influence. Nowadays, the compressed air system has become one of the many tools for manufacturing, being applicated in several areas and stages of the manufacturing process, due to its great capacity of diversification. On this job, we intend to approach the characteristcs, stages and main components in order to obtain an outstanding result from the air compressed system performance. A good planning during the installation dimensioning stage will bring positive result for the company as a whole. On this project we have focused on the main line of the air compressed system dimensioning, placing the machines according to the layout proposed by the board of directors of a small company. All the researches from this work were based on bibliography research, articles and so on and forth and also through field observation and data collect in the referred company. In cases where elevators do not work properly or stop frequently, the success of this ploy can be seriously compromised due to users' fear of getting stuck in the equipment. The present work show the guidelines for the construction of the elevator boxes to minimize or exclude mistakes in the construction stage, which end up harming and even unfeasible the services of installation, bringing expenses and inconvenience for who was hired (works) as well as for the Contractors (manufacturers of lifts). These guidelines will provide for those responsible for the execution of the boxes the information needed to understand the process and procedures to avoid the construction problems that are primarily responsible for the problems faced by the assembly that end up impacting the final delivery of the lift. The data were obtained through surveys, interviews and observation in Manaus works in the most different stages, both pre-installation, assembly and technical assistance. In this way it was possible to confirm the difficulties encountered and how the pre-install the processes impact on the assembly services and the final delivery of the equipment. Therefore, the design, installation and correct maintenance of the air conditioning system, besides the renovation of the air, can not be neglected in favor of utopian cost savings. This work aims at the elaboration of a Maintenance, Operation and Control Plan – PMOC for the air conditioners of a commercial establishment, located in the city of Manaus, through the analysis and survey of them, thus proposing the adequate maintenance of all the system of air conditioners of the establishment, and obeying the current legislation, especially decree 3.523 / 98 of August 28, 1998, which established the PMOC, and law 13,589 / 2018, which made it compulsory in all buildings of use public and collective in which the capacity of the air conditioning system is equal to or greater than 5 TR's (60,000 BTU / h). As a result of the general objective, the specific objectives were: to carry out an inventory of the air conditioners of the establishment, to characterize the legal and professional actions necessary to prepare the PMOC, to elaborate and execute the PMOC, and to calculate and specify equipment for the renovation of ambient air. Aiming at improving air quality inside the air - conditioned environment, in addition to preserving equipment, reducing energy costs and minimizing the likelihood of failures in the entire air conditioner system, it is also a preventive maintenance. Because if the line operates at its maximum performance, it will deliver a larger quantity of products to the market, within all its quality specifications, lower costs, generating the profit expected by the factory. But, over the years, the equipment on the production line deteriorates, until it reaches a point where it is not possible to deliver the expected demand. With that, this work will present a methodology that seeks to restore the performance of this production line, seeking to identify the problem, treat root causes, solve anomalies, aiming to leave the production line with a high efficiency, minimizing production costs, improving the work environment for the operator, generating profit for the company and meeting consumer needs with quality. Then, from this project, it was possible to elaborate the standard, describing the step-by-step to be followed, so that the proposed objective is achieved, which is to improve the availability of a production line. It begins with the concepts and definitions of thermodynamics, then the concepts of the zero law of thermodynamics are explained. The first law, with details coming from its formula as the variation of internal energy, work and its applications. The conditions of the second law began. We presented the ideas of reversibility and reversibility of a system showing the thoughts of Sadi Carnot for the construction of his perfect machine and the maximum yield that it could achieve. For this, many of them, in addition to being aware of technological innovations, also promote internal improvement programs in order to obtain viable solutions and with the certainty of a return on investment. Aiming to propose improvements in real industrial processes, the present work deals with the study of the preheating of metallic molds in a pressure casting process that uses ZAMAC alloy as raw material and has as main objective to show the feasibility in the implementation of this process. The applied methodology comprises bibliographical research and simulation of the implementation of this process in a company that has a casting sector that includes the necessary specifications. Serving this population with basic resources and electricity is challenging, as it makes the National Interconnected System (SIN) unfeasible to cross the Amazon and serve these municipalities. The state has several isolated and thermoelectric systems to serve the communities, even though the region has the largest water resources in the country for hydroelectric generation, and it is in the Amazon Forest that the largest quantity of diesel and natural gas thermoelectric plants is concentrated, damaging the sustainability of the region with the absence of renewable resources. This work will analyze the data of the micro-region of the Madeira River located in the state of Amazonas and the possibility of installing Small Hydroelectric Power Plants (SHPP) with Bulb type hydraulic turbines to serve those municipalities. The adopted methodology is characterized as bibliographic research, of a descriptive character and analyzing data provided by the national energy regulatory agencies, seeking to meet the population's energy demand in a sustainable manner. In this way, it was analyzed which regions would benefit, the demand that would need to be met for those municipalities and the positive gain that can be obtained using the technology of bulb type SHPPs, leaving aside non-renewable models or that cause great environmental impact such as the large Hydroelectric Power Plants (HEP) that are being built. It is understood that air traffic is characterized by the circulation of several aircraft and requires the provision of services by controllers who monitor, guide and give all guidelines so that the flow is safe, fast and orderly, both in the air and on the ground. In addition to the human contribution, this work would not be possible if certain elements were not made up such as equipment and “software”, being extremely necessary to have greater ease in controlling aircraft in order to always maintain the highest levels of safety. It is noteworthy that the Radar, being a device that allows detecting objects and infers distances from electromagnetic waves emitted by the equipment itself and received by the aircraft's echo, helps to maintain the safety of air traffic, which is essential for a quantitative greater number of aircraft that land and take off at all times, transporting cargo, people, etc. In this sense, this study was carried out with a qualitative approach, where bibliographical and documentary research were carried out, emphasizing the verification of the composition and functioning of the Radar Star2000 through technical manuals, as well as the "software" that assists the aforementioned equipment in the detection of aircraft for traffic control. In addition to ensuring the thermal comfort, the perfect functioning of this type of system will provide levels of air quality and purity within acceptable standarts, eliminating or minimizing the spread of deseases that might affect the human health. In Brazil there are norms and laws that define the installation criteria for air-conditioning systems. In this work, a study was carried out based on the current Brazilian standards that rule the installation of these systems, to evaluate whether the normative requirements were met in order to ensure the appropriate parameters of thermal comfort and air quality. And the objective is to compare a corrective maintenance program (current) with the preventive maintenance plan (ideal). The methodology used was divided into four stages, such as what are the study or case factors, with probability of failure, development of a cycle counter device and finally, or a preventive maintenance plan. As the results were given frequency of failure and the most recurrent failure modes, as well as a probability of failure was identified, the ideal period for preventive maintenance, or the number of pre-failure operation cycles and the preventive maintenance plan used previous results. In this context, the present study aims to elaborate a procedure of energy blocking "LOTO" for preventive maintenance in a vulcanization press in a company in the Industrial District of Manaus. And specifically, identify the energy isolation points of the vulcanization press; make the machine layout, safety check-list, identification plates and LoTo board; and score the safety benefits from the insertion of the LoTo energy blocking procedure in the vulcanization press preventive maintenance process. The research methodology is a descriptive approach in which it will describe the process of creating a LoTo system applied to the handling of a vulcanization press in a company of the Manaus Industrial Pole, considering the energy blocking devices, the layout model and the internal processes for applicability of the Hazardous Energy Control Program. Blocking / signaling refers to work safety procedures that protect workers from potentially dangerous energy while performing maintenance or repair services on machinery or equipment, such as electricity, pneumatics, heat, kinetic energy, gravity, hydraulics, machinery, etc. The development of this study became evident from the need to have safety at work in which, generate penalties and financial disruption for companies. Therefore, the importance of the implementation of a system for the annulment of these accident risks emerged. Nhamundá, Praça 14 de Janeiro, in the city of Manaus - AM, adopting the Fire Prevention and Control Plan (PPCI). It highlights the characteristics of the fire and ways of extinguishing it. It presents how the development of the fire occurs, its phases and its classes. List the main combat equipment and fire prevention techniques, their peculiarities of installation and elaboration. It also presents the current situation of where the project will be implemented and the challenges that still need to be overcome for more effective prevention. Forgetting that Physics is a science that studies natural phenomena, through observation. In view of the above, the present work aims to develop a sequence of activities on free fall using the Hackeduca Conecta application, with experiments simulated by the same application, for students of the 1st grade of High School, following the pedagogical theory of Jerome Bruner that deals with “Discovery teaching”. The proposal consists of analyzing the movement of the bodies through the "Free Fall" where data will be programmed and collected through sensors and transmitted to the computer using Arduino, so we will be able to generate graphs to analyze the movement of the bodies, discuss values and assist students in solving problems through tests, analyze some important parameters in this phenomenon studied and also measure the value of gravity acceleration. The theme is in the area of elevators / automation, considering the technological advances in the part of drives, control, signaling and power. The objective of this work is the construction of a prototype of load elevator for didactic purposes using an embedded circuit board to execute the logical part of programming of the movement of rise and decide of the elevator when requested in the respective floors. For the accomplishment of the work, a methodology of applied research nature was adopted, according to Cervo, Bervian and Silva (2007). Initially there was a discussion about Electric Elevators, having as subsidy Brazilian technical norms and bibliographies. Blum Jeremy, 2016, explicitly explains the method of programming an arduino in a very basic way to more complex projects, Dal Monte, 2000, led us to think as in the beginnings of the creation of the first designs of lifting machines developed by the Egyptians to the most modern already developed by men and NBR 5666 guided us in the norms that govern passenger lifts in Brazil, all these works, corroborated in the idealization and creation of the prototype. The proposal of modeling a load elevator, using a low cost embedded system, was carried out in its entirety through experimental tests as well as facilitated the understanding of the operation, handling and application.
