    This work has the objective of presenting the functioning of an automated feeder for domestic animals, providing feed in the amount and scheduled times, through the Arduino UNO platform, Relay module, RTC Module (Real Time Clock), breadboard, DC Motor 3-6V with reduction box for this prototype so that it is activated automatically, taking into account the daily routine of feeding the animal. Stages of making a helical thread are presented through the process using recycled or reused materials such as cardboard and PVC pipe, assembly and tests on electronic components used in the device. Its components together have the function of activating the engine at the pre-scheduled time, turning the helical screw (servo motor) and carrying the feed inside the tube. It is concluded that the device met the proposed objective, bringing benefit and convenience to the animal and its tutor, solving one of the problems encountered in the pet world.

    Organisations are constantly seeking for practices which allow improvements in services and products that are offered, making the competitiveness even more present. The main focus in these organisations purposes, the ones operating with the management system certified under the requirements of ISO 9001, is to have an excellent costumer service. The methodology 8D is getting popular among the professionals entangled to assure a satisfying costumer experience, fast issues solving, as well as improving the procedures in the process since the beginning. The current work deals with the quality management, mainly focused on Manaus Industrial Park and its goal is to show, by applying the 8D, the analysis of defaults in the weldability in the process SMT (surface Mount Technology) in the routers electronic boards, as well as with the effective action towards the reduction of possible issues. The methodology used to solve this issue was a field research which took 5 months to be ready. In the end it was possible to identify that the use of the 8D methodology allowed the identification of the roots of failures in weldability that the costumers were alleging to have. After a couple of analysis it made necessary the creation of a stencil over print, which permitted the proper amount of weldability to be dispensed turning the weldability much more accurate and precise. With the implementation of the stencil over print, it’s easy to see the reduction in the issues in weldability at the final product.

    With the advances in the world market and competitiveness among business organizations, there was a need to insert the use of Quality Tools in organizations. Such tools were developed to help professionals understand the problems that occur in their daily lives, in order to find the root cause and propose appropriate solutions for them. In this sense, this research aims to analyze the causes of the main welding failures in the SMT process and propose improvement actions in the assembly of printed circuit boards for fiber optic modems, in an electronics industry in Manaus, through the organizational tool 5W2H. For this, a case study was carried out, through field research, in a company in the Industrial field of Manaus. And, for the prioritization of defects in the SMT process of Fiber Optic Modem production, the Verification Sheet and the Pareto Diagram were used. Among the results, it was identified that the largest number of defects is the failure of insufficient soldering in the T300/T301 component, totaling 81.2% of the defects found. To solve the defects, it was applied: the implementation of adjustment in the assembly coordinate of the components, creation of a new stencil with “overprint” and “step up” and increase in the assembly tolerance with variation of reading of the component terminal. In this way, the adoption of quality tools with the aid in the analysis and solutions of defects facilitated the monitoring of the process, as well as the reduction of product defects, in addition to minimizing rework, thus expanding the guarantee of product quality. and of the process.

    In industry, systematization is present in several areas, mainly in maintenance, leading to management organization, in addition to generating production optimization. The general objective of this work is to present a coding proposal for air conditioners, based on QR code logic, in order to optimize maintenance management. The proposed method is divided into the following steps: (1) identification of the location to be analyzed; (2) Collection of the following data from the air conditioners in the analyzed location: equipment by power; equipment by manufacturer; categorization of equipment by manufacturer. A technical visit was carried out on the campus of the industrial district of the Federal Institute of Amazonas, and through the defined methodology, the codification of the air conditioners was proposed. The highlights given in the research, such as illustrations and reasoning, result in reflection on the importance of using the computerized system in industrial bases in general. Therefore, sticking to the information contained in this scientific construction clarifies objections about coding in maintenance.

    The present study aims to analyze the electricity consumption through a bill and size a photovoltaic system of a residence in the urban area of Manaus/AM, evaluating its financial feasibility in the current energy economy scenario. The work starts with the introduction of basic concepts about photovoltaic generation and elements that make up a photovoltaic system. The residence's electricity bill is analyzed, and a technical evaluation of the available locations for the installation of photovoltaic modules is carried out, as well as local data such as solar irradiation found through a web tool and project consideration criteria. Then, the models of the commercial equipment that make up the photovoltaic generation system are chosen, and the system is budgeted. With the aid of computational tools, financial indicators such as net present value, internal rate of return, and payback are found. The results show that the system is viable both technically and financially.

    The use of renewable energies is being used more and more in Brazil and in the world, especially solar energy to generate electricity. This is a trend currently observed and one of the major factors for this is the possibility of obtaining a large cost reduction with the use of photovoltaic electricity detected with traditional electricity. In addition to the ease of producing clean energy, without noise in its generation, it has the practicality of being installed in any place that has sunlight and availability of space for the installation of the photovoltaic system, which can be on roofs, land and to parking lots. This last location is increasingly protected in its use, because while it protects cars from the sun's action, it also generates electricity through its cover with photovoltaic panels, also helping in the Brazilian energy matrix. In 2022, the share of photovoltaic energy in the Brazilian energy matrix was 4.3%. On 09/03/2023, Brazil consumed the mark of 6,044 MW, a record in solar energy generation. This happens in the midst of so many climate changes that increasingly face sustainable development solutions and investments in resources for the use of renewable energies such as photovoltaic energy. In this context, this study intends to analyze the technical feasibility of implementing a solar photovoltaic parking lot connected to the electrical grid to transform solar energy into electrical energy in the IFAM-CMDI, using the PVSyst software, a computational tool to verify the numeric values of the study and assistance in the development of a photovoltaic project. The methodology applied was through a case study on the implementation of the photovoltaic solar system connected to the grid (on grid) with a bibliographical review on the subject, data collection for system sizing analysis, reading and interpretation of technical data of the system components. The results obtained from the technical study of the implementation of solar parking optimized through PVSyst obtained an excellent result, concluding that the implementation of solar parking at the IFAMCMDI is technically feasible.

    Maintenance is extremely important for any company, as its main objective is to maintain equipment availability, manage resources and eliminate machine defects to maintain product quality standards. In order to be within the industrial competitiveness, it is important to have a good flow of products, being necessary that the maintenance sector knows how to analyze and allocate the company's optimization failures. electric. Thus, it carried out a bibliographic survey of maintenance aspects, as well as its history, types and formats of management and maintenance planning and control functions (PCM), as well as quality tools that were used to demonstrate problems encountered in the sector. After that, a quantitative analysis of machine stops was carried out and improvements were proposed in the organization of the area, preventive maintenance schedule, preventive forms and daily inspections, presenting after the maintenance indicators for assertive decision making, proposing a maintenance management system that can ensure improvements in terms of equipment availability.

    The work presented is about the disposal of cell phone batteries in shopping centers in the South center of Manaus, gathering data from research carried out through questionnaries to employees.. Information was obtained regarding the percentage of stores that have control over disposal, whether they have the disposal option and which reverse logistics practices exist.Finally obtained the data graphs were used to demonstrate the results and some personal opinions were added.Finally obtained the data graphs were used to demonstrate the results and some personal opinions were added. It was found that only in one of the stores interviewed has the disposal control for the batteries, so from the point of view, it is believed that this makes it difficult for the consumer to have a correct direction on how to it when the product in questions in no longer useful, that stores know that is necessary to collect batteries but here is still this problem about the lack of disposal control.

    This document aims to present the development of a prototype of a remote monitoring system for a compressor in order to assist in the preventive maintenance of the equipment. This system has the ability to remotely monitor the temperature, voltage and current through sensors and conditioning circuits to read the magnitudes related to the compressors. The system is presented through a prototype, consisting of an ESP 32 microcontroller that is responsible for calculating and transmitting data via the internet to a blynk cloud server on the blynk platform that was used to carry out the monitoring. As a final result, it was to provide a prototype capable of capturing and monitoring the variables of a compressor, allowing remote monitoring of tests, presenting results in real time, through a friendly panel. The results obtained from the simulations that were made in the work are strong, since it is confirmed that the system is able to read the values of the variables through the sensors and conditioned circuits, sending data using the ESP32 microcontroller, which through a monitoring interface, is able to present the results of the variables in real time, which concludes that the system can help in effective actions regarding equipment maintenance.
