Amid a demanding and dynamic consumer market of constant technological changes, companies are increasingly investing in process improvement and cost reduction to become increasingly competitive and stable in the market, for this made a fundamental and decisive factor in the area of Manufacturing is the layout organization of a factory, it has a direct and significant impact on costs and process efficiency. Activities such as material storage, material handling as well as their organization and systematic control count as necessary automation elements for a more fluid development of activities. This paper analyzes the layout and consequently the production processes of the company MDC Industry of Intelligence Containers Ltda. Manufacturer of custom datacenters and smart safes, intending a proposal to adapt the layout and implementation of levels and automation elements to optimize the production process by minimizing the production time by reducing the distances traveled and obstacles encountered between the production processes and dispatch of goods
