Clinical signs are dermatological, ranging from erythema, lichenification, pruritus, and alopecia, rarely causing systemic disorder. The diagnosis can be confirmed by skin cytology, with the presence of more than two fungi per scanning field, the fungal culture is also an option. This paper aims to describe the use of ozonetherapy on a canine patient with malasseziosis resistant to conventional treatment. The treatment was performed with the association of several ozonetherapy techniques, as follows: bagging, rectal insufflation and through ozonated minor autohemotherapy. After 13 weekly sessions the clinical signs regressed greatly. Thus, ozonetherapy was effective in controlling the malasseziosis.
