This article explores the application of blockchain in industry, highlighting its main benefits, challenges and future prospects. The methodology used is based on a bibliographical review of recent national studies on the topic. It is concluded that blockchain has the potential to transform industrial processes, optimizing the supply chain, product traceability and cybersecurity.
