Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Sistema de TV digital: uma proposta de implementação de um sistema de radiodifusão em TV digital no município de Boa Vista - Roraima(2024-12-19) Matos, Allan da Silva; Cordeiro, Celso Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4969144304480235; Souza, José Geraldo de Pontes e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3583358046117558; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey Godinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0187470129136467The implementation of the Brazilian Digital Terrestrial Television System (SBTVT) in 2006 marks a significant advancement in the Brazilian television landscape, providing substantial improvements in audio and video quality, as well as the introduction of interactive features. However, the transition faces technical and logistical challenges, particularly in cities like Boa Vista, Roraima, where infrastructure and population dispersion in urban and peripheral areas hinder the implementation of digital TV. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of implementing digital TV in Boa Vista by analyzing signal coverage and reception quality, with a focus on the city's adaptation to new technologies. The methodology involves a combination of simulations using ICS Telecom software and field measurements to assess signal performance. The research aims to analyze both the technical challenges and the economic and social factors involved, promoting digital inclusion and expanding access to information. By comparing the results of simulations with actual measurements, the study will refine signal propagation models, ensuring that the population of Boa Vista has adequate access to the benefits of digital TV, such as superior audio and video quality and interactivity. The study is justified by the need to ensure broad and efficient coverage in all areas of the city, strengthening social and digital inclusion and ensuring the dissemination of educational, cultural, and informative content for the local populationTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso Sistema de TV digital: uma análise da qualidade do sinal de TV aberta através de simulação no Matlab.(2024-12-18) Passos, Natan Freitas Izel; Cordeiro, Celso Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4969144304480235; Lima, Jonatas Micael Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4866950717399057; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey Godinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0187470129136467Digital open television is an essential means of social inclusion and access to information in Brazil, particularly in remote areas. With the adoption of the ISDB-T standard, significant advancements have been made in image and sound quality. However, challenges persist in transmitting stable signals, especially in rural and densely populated urban areas where topography and infrastructure can compromise reception. This study investigates, through MATLAB simulations, the main factors influencing the quality of digital TV signals. Elements such as topography, weather conditions, and physical obstructions will be analyzed to understand their impact on signal propagation. The aim is to develop a model that identifies the causes of signal degradation and proposes solutions to mitigate these issues, ensuring more reliable reception for all.The methodology combines simulation and statistical analysis to assess signal intensity and quality across different scenarios. The expected results are relevant for academics, policymakers, and TV broadcasters, providing recommendations for optimizing digital signal transmission and promoting inclusion and social development in BrazilTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso Sistema de TV digital: análise da qualidade do sinal de transmissão de vídeo e áudio via mochilink 4g na cidade de Manaus(2024-12-11) Souza, Aroldo Ribeiro de; Cordeiro, Celso Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4969144304480235; Cordeiro, Marcos Carneiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4969144304480235; Lima, Micael Vieira de; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey Godinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0187470129136467In Brazil, the digital open television signal provides the population with free access to high-quality audio and video. However, open TV faces challenges, particularly due to the rise of streaming services and cable TV, which offer on-demand content and interactivity. Although SmartTVs integrate internet functionality, their interactive experience depends on broadband connections and applications, limiting accessibility for some audiences. Additionally, simultaneous use of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, often distracts viewers, reducing engagement with traditional programming. To address these challenges, 4G mochilink technology has emerged as a strategic solution, especially for communication professionals who require mobility and high-quality real-time transmission. This technology enables external live broadcasts in locations with limited internet infrastructure, particularly valuable in regions like Manaus, with geographical and network coverage challenges. This study proposes an analysis of video and audio signal quality transmitted via 4G mochilink in Manaus, assessing its effectiveness as a mobile transmission alternative for digital open TV. By utilizing mochilink, the aim is to expand open TV’s reach and provide greater accessibility in areas with limited internet infrastructure. The research seeks to provide technical data to optimize 4G mochilink use for live broadcasts, supporting the expansion of digital TV’s reach and quality.
