The teaching of evolutionary theories in elementary education still faces conceptual and pedagogical challenges, especially in the Amazonian context, where the lack of contextualization hinders meaningful learning. This study aimed to develop a didactic sequence based on the Theory of Meaningful Learning to promote the understanding of the concepts of Evolution, Lamarckism, and Darwinism among 9th-grade students. The didactic intervention was structured through a sequence of planned lessons that included readings, discussions, visual diagrams, metaphors, and classification activities designed to enhance the comprehension of evolutionary concepts. The project used the study of the Potamotrygonidae family (freshwater stingrays) as a starting point, seeking to bring scientific content closer to the students’ Amazonian reality. The lessons were adapted according to classroom time constraints and student dynamics, prioritizing participatory and contextualized strategies. The results indicated that students were able to understand the main differences between Lamarckism and Darwinism, demonstrating genuine interest in the topic. The experience highlighted the importance of didactic practices and regional contextualization in science education, fostering meaningful learning and greater student engagement in the educational process.

The present work aims to promote the learning of lipid content, from the chemistry discipline, for students in the 3rd year of regular high school through a proposal for a didactic sequence, based on the principles of Dermeval Saviani's historical-critical pedagogy. Therefore, we sought to answer the question: how could a didactic sequence, based on the principles of historical-critical pedagogy, contribute to the teaching of lipids in the 3rd year of high school? Then, a methodological path was followed adopting a qualitative, descriptive approach. Resulting in the development of a didactic sequence, in five moments of historical-critical pedagogy, highlighting the instrumentation with the understanding of cupulate production relating to the lipid content, followed by catharsis, with the practical class of the process obtaining cupulate, a sweet similar to chocolate made from cupuaçu. In this way, learning begins with an initial social practice and is transformed into scientific knowledge, making the student appropriate the lipid content within their social practice.

This work presents a research entitled "Alcoholic fermentation: a didactic sequence for the teaching of Chemistry in the third year of high school", which aimed to develop a didactic sequence for the teaching of the alcohol function from alcoholic fermentation in the last year of high school. average. So, it was necessary to organize the research in three stages, namely: i) Articulate the concepts of Alcoholic Fermentation, Didactic Sequence; Chemistry teaching; and CTS Approach; ii) Execute the didactic sequence referring to Fermentation; and iii) Analyze the data from the execution of the didactic sequence. Therefore, the didactic sequence was designed and elaborated based on the CTS Approach. In order to contextualize the content “Function Organic Alcohol”, it was decided to emphasize the most common alcohol, ethanol, opting to use alcoholic fermentation as a topic that generates learning in the didactic sequence. In this way, the research, of a quanti-quali character, was carried out at Escola Estadual Professora Diana Pinheiro, where questionnaires and the didactic sequence were applied in a class of 32 students, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposal. As a result, the post-intervention questionnaires showed more elaborate explanations by the students and a percentage of 92.5% of satisfactory answers. In addition, the contribution of alcoholic fermentation was well evaluated by the students, noting that the theme was a differential in this result.

This work was developed in a public school elementary in Manaus with 40 students in a class of sixth year, morning shift. The main objective was to develop the students of these class modes of care for water intake at their school through a didactic sequence. There were few outbreaks of diarrhea in high school and commented a lot of unhygienic way of some students to drink water, so the interest came on the possible cause and the relationship between this school and the students. They collected data to see if the water would was responsible for the outbreak of the health problems mentioned or neglect of students. For this, it observed the behavior of the students the ways to ingest water in schoolyards through unsystematic analysis. We carried out a microbiological analysis of three school aquifer samples and a simple questionnaire to ascertain the students prior knowledge. As an intervention to the problem through education, classes were based on one of the didactic sequences proposed by Zabala (1998), specifically, three number sequences, and finally an evaluative activity in which was made the development portfolio. The systematic observation pointed out that many students drank water incorrectly, because most, shared personal items and approach lips in water fountain taps. Microbiological analysis confirmed that the school water for consumption had no pathogenic microorganisms such as coliform bacteria, is there was no contamination of this type. Until then, the results showed the water are not responsible for pathological cases among students. The questionnaire showed that students had little knowledge of the correct and incorrect way as the water intake at school, making it possible to reflect on the water issue. The developed didactic sequence enabled the interaction of prior knowledge and the inclusion of new knowledge to enable new student learning about the topic. It was noticed in the portfolio activities no impairment of students to study the topic or research regarding any content worked in room. A positive point in the correction of portfolios was the opinion of the students claim that touching lips on tap for drinking fountains, share personal use cups or bottles or take trimming water with hands were incorrect attitudes. The results show that the work led students realize that drinking water requires hygiene, it is necessary to seek to apply over the correct forms intake to not endanger the health.

The present research has as objective to verify the contributions brought by the use of fables in the teaching of parasitic diseases, investigating their use as alternative didactic material to favor the contextualization of the studied contents. Thus, the process involved the construction of a didactic sequence involving the use of fables addressing the three different types of educational content, conceptual, procedural and attitudinal, in addition, it is articulated in the fundamentals of Constructive Alignment and SOLO Taxonomy. The didactic sequence including the use of fables was constructed due to the observation of the lack of contextualization of the contents of sciences and Biology in Basic Education, constituting, as an alternative didactic tool to approach the theme "parasitic diseases". The study was carried out in a public school in the Center-West Region of Manaus, in a high school night class. The didactic sequence was developed in five moments, using didactic scripts, didactic texts and videos, so that it was possible to understand the main characteristics of the diseases addressed, integrating the learning objectives, the activities developed and the evaluation, in an aligned way. The sequence proved to be effective for the teaching of parasitic diseases, in order to present conceptual changes in both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the responses, according to the SOLO Taxonomy, verified at the end of the activities. In addition to positive changes in relation to contents of an attitudinal nature, in relation to greater health care reported after the construction of knowledge about parasitic diseases. Therefore, the use of fables proved to be assertive regarding the contextualization of the studied subjects, providing an alternative way for the students to relate the contents to the narrative and thus build the knowledge from a perspective differentiated from that linked only to the language of didactic texts.

(2017-12-19) Passos, Fernanda Silva dos; Silva, Janari Rui Negreiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2785071645616428; Silva, Janari Rui Negreiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2785071645616428; Enriconi, Adriana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4273322336883518; Magalhães, Ioná Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7895810754559803
The present study has as its central theme the teaching on drugs in high school, based on the development of a didactic sequence embodied in Antoni Zabala (1998). Therefore, the proposed pedagogical intervention aims to understand the conceptions of high school students about licit and illicit drugs. In this sense, a lesson plan with the theme "Drugs" was developed from the didactic unit two of the aforementioned author. The study was developed in a school located in the northern part of Manaus, with students from three groups of the third year of high school in the year 2015. The study uses the qualitative approach. As data collection instruments we used the participant observation recorded in the final report of the supervised stage, the application of a questionnaire and the debate held in the fourth moment of the didactic sequence. It was found that 63% of the students have ever had contact in life with any type of drug that is lawful or illegal. The didactic unit proposed by Zabala (1998) made it possible to broaden the development of scientific knowledge about the proposed theme, pointing out the possibility in biology teaching that surpassed the approaches focused on the memory and reproduction of knowledge, but committed to the social formation of individuals.

(2019-06-21) Nascimento, Marcela Souza do; Enriconi, Adriana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4273322336883518; Enriconi, Adriana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4273322336883518; Vale, Adriana Carla Oliveira de Morais; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4121425372985654; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346
Parasitology is a branch of study of great relevance to society, especially in the field of education and health, but in basic education. It is taught transversally, always linked secondary to other subjects such as basic sanitation. However, it is a subject that needs to be further explored and contextualized in an integrated way, and that can be used as a tool for prevention and maintenance of health. In this sense, it is the emergence of the importance of creating new didactic alternatives that aim to facilitate the teaching-learning process in parasitology. Therefore, the didactic sequence (SD) is highlighted, which in turn is a set of activities organized and articulated with each other to work a particular subject in stages and / or activities in order to improve the teaching / learning process of learners . This study aimed to evaluate didactic tools of a playful nature in order to lead students of the 1st year of high school in the processes of construction and appropriation of knowledge about parasitology. The chosen methodology included a bibliographical, exploratory, applied nature and qualitative-quantitative approach. The didactic sequence (SD) developed for this study was composed of four moments: Moment I - Awareness raising and initial survey (initial questionnaire and expository class); Moment II - Problematization (Mind Map); Moment III - Organization of knowledge and development (Quiz and practical class in the laboratory) and Moment IV - Synthesis and finalization (Comic book and final questionnaire). Therefore, the didactic sequence reported proved to be a viable alternative, since the steps followed were well received by the students, and with active participation of all involved, denoting being a pedagogical tool that can be used as a promoter of health education, especially in what concerns the teaching of parasitology.

This research work was developed during the Supervised Curricular Internship of the IFAM/CMC Degree in Chemistry, which had the general objective of promoting a didactic sequence through experimental activities with low cost and everyday materials to teach science. in the 6th grade of elementary school and encourage the production of scientific writing. To achieve the general objective, we define as specific objectives: To present a theoretical framework that portrays science teaching in elementary school II; Show the importance of contextualization and experimentation in science education; Develop a methodology based on experimental activities that work respectively the valuation of students writing using the logbook; To evaluate if the methodology helped in the students' teachinglearning process. The methodology used consisted of three steps. In the first moment a verbal diagnosis was made with the students, to get the starting point, from the previous knowledge about the discipline and about the importance of air to the living beings in the students understanding, generating a debate in the classroom. and the application of the initial questionnaire. The second moment corresponded to the application of the five experiments, followed by explanations during the class, addressing air properties issues and asking students questions about the subject. In the third and last moment, the production of the Logbook was requested, which consisted of reports about the relevance of the methodology applied in the classroom from the students' perspective, highlighting the experiments and the knowledge acquired during the experimental class, in order to stimulate writing and scientific literacy. Considering what was obtained in the results, it was found that science teaching is fundamental, especially in the early grades, which end up reflecting on the importance of discipline for students and encouraging the individual to observe the world with a glance scientific.
