It comes more and more being modernized in its manufacturing process and model, being manufactured with more suitable and resistant materials, because nowadays we have larger ships and more powerful engines and therefore the propeller needs to keep up with this evolution. in order to study more about the propagation of cracks that occur along the contours of the grains. Therefore, it is necessary to know what caused great vibrations in the main axis and hull of the ship, and to discuss an analysis, an inspection and report the failure and cause of fracture of the material. Descriptive research is then carried out. Therefore, it appears that due to damage to the propeller as a result of the impact with a supposed tree trunk during navigation on the Amazon River, then the performance recovery generated a tension in the affected area, due to this propeller performance generated in the affected area a crack that was welded to repair it and finally it resulted that the right thing to do was to have to reduce the four blades evenly to maintain the balance of the propeller and end the excessive vibration in the ship, which imposes the finding that what led to the fracture of the helix in the repaired area was an intergranular corrosion. The research will analyze the operation of a turbine and show the effects of the incoming air on the machine's drop in performance. The generating engine object of this research is the GE LM6000PC aeroderivative gas turbine, located in an electric power generation park located in Manaus-Am. Based on bibliographic research, information collected in the generator park, the work developed as a descriptive research, and soon afterwards, simulations were performed using the Engineering Equation Solver (EES) thermodynamic function calculations program. The data generated in the EES were inserted in a spreadsheet and a graph of temperature vs. yield was generated in MS Excel. The graph shows, by means of variations in the parameters for decreasing the inlet air temperature, the quantification of the increase, up to 7.00%, in the efficiency of the gas turbine. The system was developed at LES/CEAR/UFPB, and constitutes of two adsorption reactors, a condenser and an evaporator, which function independently. Cycle times and secondary flow switching control scheduling is performed using a LabVIEW® interface that allows automatically secondary flow control through the cycle management system (SGC). The experimental tests were performed with the silica gel / water adsorptive pair. The specific cooling capacity (SCP) and coefficient of performance (COP) of the two-reactor chiller were 81.4 W kg-1 and 0.52 respectively, with an exergetic efficiency of 8.2% for the best working conditions, represented by the triplet 72/30/15 ℃ and a cycle time of 35 min. The results reached the levels of recent publications of literature describing models with the same characteristics. In the research, we selected R-410A and R32 fluids, considering that they are the most indicated to replace R-22, which should fall into total disuse in the year 2040, given its aggression to the ozone layer. What motivated us to carry out this research was the incessant search to find a fluid that had a low impact on the environment, our performance and future training in the undergraduate course in Mechanical Engineering, the performance of our activities in the area of HVAC and refrigeration. For the elaboration of this work, we carried out several searches, of scientific productions, that dealt with the evaluation of the operational parameters, that presented points such as: refrigeration capacity, power consumed by the compressor and the performance and discharge developed by the compressor. The impact on the environment was carried out by studies that used the TEWI method, performing an analysis of the performance of both refrigerants. According to the research carried out, the tests performed show a variation in the evaporation temperature between -7 and 7 °C, while the condensing temperature was maintained at 41 °C. In addition to the evaporation temperature, the compressor operating frequency was also varied from 45 to 60 Hz. The results obtained by SILVA (2018), during his research, showed that the power consumed by the compressor using R32 increased from 3 to 5% when compared to R410A. The cooling capacity of R32 was approximately 3 to 7% greater than for R410A. The COP was 2 to 8% higher using R32. The discharge temperature of the compressor operating with R32 was approximately 20 to 30 °C higher than for R410A. Serving this population with basic resources and electricity is challenging, as it makes the National Interconnected System (SIN) unfeasible to cross the Amazon and serve these municipalities. The state has several isolated and thermoelectric systems to serve the communities, even though the region has the largest water resources in the country for hydroelectric generation, and it is in the Amazon Forest that the largest quantity of diesel and natural gas thermoelectric plants is concentrated, damaging the sustainability of the region with the absence of renewable resources. This work will analyze the data of the micro-region of the Madeira River located in the state of Amazonas and the possibility of installing Small Hydroelectric Power Plants (SHPP) with Bulb type hydraulic turbines to serve those municipalities. The adopted methodology is characterized as bibliographic research, of a descriptive character and analyzing data provided by the national energy regulatory agencies, seeking to meet the population's energy demand in a sustainable manner. In this way, it was analyzed which regions would benefit, the demand that would need to be met for those municipalities and the positive gain that can be obtained using the technology of bulb type SHPPs, leaving aside non-renewable models or that cause great environmental impact such as the large Hydroelectric Power Plants (HEP) that are being built. The northern region of Brazil in particular, the state of Amazonas (AM) has some peculiarities with regard to its regional integration with the rest of the country. Thus, the configuration itself in the midst of the Amazon biome poses a series of challenges for the state in terms of access to electricity. From this context, the present work has as objective: to elaborate a maintenance plan in the energy generating unit and to demonstrate its importance to the stability and reliability of the electrical system. In methodological terms, a qualitative approach was chosen, as it has a greater focus on understanding and explaining the facts, as well as greater familiarity with the object of study. In addition to ensuring the thermal comfort, the perfect functioning of this type of system will provide levels of air quality and purity within acceptable standarts, eliminating or minimizing the spread of deseases that might affect the human health. In Brazil there are norms and laws that define the installation criteria for air-conditioning systems. In this work, a study was carried out based on the current Brazilian standards that rule the installation of these systems, to evaluate whether the normative requirements were met in order to ensure the appropriate parameters of thermal comfort and air quality. Conduction heat transfer concepts will be presented, describing the importance of thermal interface materials, highlighting the impact of duty cycle in the design, pointing out the effects of working temperature in electronic equipment evaluating how to improve its heat dissipation and testing a way to increase its work stability. Bibliographic research was used, in addition to the case study developed from an experiment with boards from a processing complex. Measurements were performed through the processing software itself, obtaining the simple average and presenting the percentage gains. The change allowed for an average reduction of 10% in the working temperature, 19% in the use of fans and a slight reduction of 1% in the energy consumption of the equipment in operation. The proposed system uses the principle of a four-motor engine to replace the compressor used in conventional air conditioning equipment by steam compression. Therefore, its operation does not depend on electrical energy, as it uses solar energy and uses refrigerant with low environmental impact. In the search for better performance, a new reactor will be designed, by increasing the contact area and reducing the thermal inertia of the reactor. For this, they need to see in their processes opportunities that set precedents for improvement. Within this context, the reduction of costs based on the reduction of waste of raw material or any other resource is a reality. Therefore, this work has as main objective to show the technical and economic feasibility of using recycled zamac alloy in an industry in Manaus / AM. Because, in line with the aspiration of most companies, this use aims precisely to make the best use of the raw material, bringing with it the other benefits. To achieve this objective, the work makes use of a case study in that company, using a methodology provided with bibliographic and documentary research. In addition, through technical visits and some tests, data were collected to analyze the use of zamac waste through recycling. The research ends the study reaching a positive conclusion, in which it is shown to be viable to use the recycled raw material in the studied company, so that the necessary adjustments can be made. As for the technical parameters that guarantee a good performance of the material, the recycled Zamac alloy meets the specifications if it is mixed with the virgin raw material in a certain proportion. As for the financial issues that need to be of benefit to the company, the use of recycled Zamac alloy represents a recovery of approximately 77% of the material that would be discarded.
