Item Data Cleaner Service - Web Service para apoiar na limpeza de dados(2023-06-19) Picanço, Gabriel Rodrigues; Carminé, Rogério Luiz Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7537210268624278; Carminé, Rogério Luiz Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7537210268624278; Azevedo, Renildo Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0601215754206476; Santos, Valclides Kid Fernandes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7902062389125321The large increase in the amount of data and information recently is notorious. Wrong data generates wrong information, which can significantly impact the management of organizations and people's lives. Organizations need to obtain reliable and timely information for effective business decision-making and, for that, it is important to invest in solutions that ensure data quality. Data Cleaning techniques make it possible to identify and correct non-compliant values based on defined rules and actions. These techniques are widely used in data preparation activities in BI (Business Intelligence) and Data Science processes to contribute to the quality of results. There are several tools on the market for data cleaning (e.g., Excel, OpenRefine and Data Wrangler), which have specific characteristics and functions, and normally allow the creation of programming scripts to carry out cleaning tasks. These scripts can take a lot of time and effort to write, and can be difficult to reuse across different tools. A solution based on a web service (Data Cleaner Service) capable of integrating with tools (e.g., Web Applications) and cleaning data through the reuse of scripts (e.g., Python) was developed. To demonstrate the solution, applications were developed using scripts with the PANDAS tool and a Web application that consumes the service. With this solution, it is expected to make a positive contribution in carrying out data cleaning tasks in several areas (e.g., finance, sales and health), reducing effort and time in these activities, promoting the exchange of experience between users and developers, and impacting the generation of effective information for decision-making.Item RG-AEDES: software de reconhecimento geográfico de locais para o controle de vetores da dengue, zika e chikungunya(2019-08-15) Viana Neto, Izaltino; Carminé, Rogério Luiz Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7537210268624278; Carminé, Rogério Luiz Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7537210268624278; Souza, Jucimar Brito de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0217852318751550; Barbosa, Miguel Bonafe; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1631055281834401To ensure the health of the population, the Ministry of Health in Brazil establishes a set of actions, guidelines and processes to promote the control of Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya mosquito vectors, including the activity of Geographic Recognition, which is carried out by field agents. To identify the locations and areas of field actions for vector control. This work aims to provide software to computerize the geographic recognition process for allowing activity planning, data collection, monitoring and consolidation, resulting in more reliable data obtained with less time and effort. The proposed system will also allow the management of georeferenced data for enabling the strategic planning of vector control actions and the collection of this data through a mobile device working offline.Item TB BI: solução de integração de dados dos sistemas e-SUS e SINAN para apoiar o controle de casos de tuberculose(2023-12-06) Costa, Éricle Luna; Carminé, Rogério Luiz Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7537210268624278; Barbosa, Miguel Bonafe; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1631055281834401; Carminé, Rogério Luiz Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7537210268624278; Maciel, Paulo Henrique Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9311165691777184; Santos, Valclides Kid Fernandes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7902062389125321Tuberculosis is one of the biggest global health problems, one of the deadliest infectious diseases on the planet. In Brazil, an increase in the number of cases was recorded in 2020 and 2021, from 66,819 to 68,271 people with the disease. Tuberculosis treatment is offered by the public health network and to manage this situation the Ministry of Health offers some information systems, at the municipal level Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN) is used, which is responsible for notifying cases, and the e-SUS APS system, for clinical care in health units. These systems are not integrated, which makes broader and more complete control of health actions difficult. TB-BI is the proposed solution that aims to integrate this data, providing an integrated database and dashboard for generating information. In this work, the development of an initial version (Proof of Concept) to be developed within the scope of the municipality of Manaus is considered, using technological resources widely used in the market, such as PHP and SQL languages. The solution can contribute to providing differentiated, broad and quality information about tuberculosis cases and related care, so that it can positively impact municipal health management and, consequently, the population's quality of life.
