“Sou professor da EP: o que devo saber?”: ampliando os saberes para a atuação docente na educação profissional
(2022-02-25) Lins, Antonio Blanco Acioli; Anic, Cinara Calvi
This pedagogical support material entitled “I am a professor at Technological Professional Education EP...what should I know? was built from a master’s research that aimed to analyze the constitution of the teaching of unlicensed professionals (bachelors and technologists) working in technical vocational education of medium level (EPTNM). In this qualitative research, 07 teachers who work in this teaching modality were interviewed. Among the knowledge that forms the basis for teaching, experience knowledge stands out, especially that which comes from working in the labor market and from references from former teachers who are considered good teachers. Also in the teachers’ reports unanimity, was found in the lack of reading and discussions about the specific knowledge of vocational education, that is, the theoretical basis that supports this training, as well as some reported difficulties arising from the lack of pedagogical training. In view of these findings, we decided to create a pedagogical support material that could contribute to the construction of this knowledge by non-licensed professionals who work as teachers in professional education, providing subsidies for the improvement of their pedagogical practice, as well as for the implementation of professional education based on its theoretical bases.

This material represents the final product of a Master's Degree dissertation that aims to expand the possibilities of the pedagogical making of the Basic and Advanced Computer Science classes for Professional Education students through a didactic sequence that contemplates, in its methodology and approach, to stimulate the thinking through simulations of with the spreadsheet as a tool. The proposal of a didactic sequence aims at the development of strategies to facilitate the understanding of the topics addressed through the implementation of learning situations whose intention is to promote the understanding of the subjects and that these are in accordance with what students will have to face in their daily work as apprentices. Although the Basic and Advanced Computing course consists of several modules, this material intends to focus only on the Electronic Spreadsheet module and is composed of 5 regular 4-hour classes using materials that are easily accessible to students. During the classes, subjects related to the spreadsheet will be approached, such as formulas, mathematical functions, search functions, database functions, table formatting, dynamic tables, data validation, meta, solver, spreadsheet automation and form controls. objectives: to guide the students to a reflection about the proposed content, in the sense of encouraging the construction of skills that can stimulate Computational Thinking; to provide students with familiarity and exploration of the potentialities of the spreadsheet, specifically Microsoft Excel software, in the simulation of learning situations involving processes related to the administrative activities of a company; concepts of Computer Science to assist in the construction of automated solutions for problems that allow the use of the computer through the spreadsheet, allowing the student to see the result of their work. Considering that in a classroom not everyone learns in the same way, one looks for the didactic sequence and through a planning and a set of activities, to reach the objectives proposed in each planned stage. And, if learning does not happen immediately, create the possibility that it may occur in the future through the practice of computational thinking. Thus, this material does not intend to exhaust the pedagogical possibilities of the classes of Basic and Advanced Computing, much less be considered infallible in its objective. On the contrary, considering that each class has its characteristics and peculiarities, it is a suggestion of activities to be developed in the search to contribute to the practice of teachers, in order to make IT more interesting and motivate them to continue searching for methodologies of teaching and tools favor thinking organization and problem solving, which are Computational Thinking skills, as well as taking full advantage of the educational potential of computers and digital technologies

(Instituto Federal do Amazonas, 2016-03-11) Souza, Pricila Rodrigues de; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Azevedo, Rosa Oliveira Marins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3056605003492861; Terán, Augusto Fachín; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6646400621099687
The planning and development of teaching practice have significant impact on student learning. This paper explores this impact through a didactic proposal for students of middle level technical courses in electrical circuits teaching. The proposal is structured with nine teaching plans and learning, shared through a series of nine videos, based on Meaningful Learning Theory of David Ausubel and Constructive Alignment teaching model of John Biggs. The strategic action research guided the investigation. For the suitability of the material presented to students in elaborate plans were considered its profile and cognitive structure. To collect research data were made audio recordings of the main stages, logbooks, photographs, experimental activities, interviews, previous conceptual maps and final, as well as the evaluation of the tasks performed at the end of each class. Evidence presented during the application of didactic proposal allow to say that aspects: contextualization of learning, motivation, student monitoring and a new look of the teacher in front of his practice; contribute to the promotion of meaningful learning of students.

This work presents a qualitative research that consisted in using learning situations, built based on the theory of Constructive Alignment, to elaborate, implement and analyze a proposal of a didactic sequence involving the spreadsheet and its functions in practical activities of simulation of administrative processes, aiming to exercise and encourage the Computational Thinking. This proposal was applied through the Basic and Advanced Computing course to students of the Industrial Administrative Assistant course of a professional education institution, allowing the analysis of the results obtained and verification of the understanding of the concepts related to Computational Thinking, in order to facilitate its application in any area of knowledge. In this context, it was possible to analyze the level of student satisfaction with the method used, where it was verified that to use the learning situations directed to the administrative routines not only contributes to the construction of the competences established for the course as it will be leading the student to become familiar with the context of the work environment. Considering that Informatics is an indispensable work tool, either directly or indirectly, it is the responsibility of vocational education courses to provide a minimum level of training for future professionals, demonstrating the importance of teaching-learning concepts of Computer Science in Brazilian education and raising awareness about the need for new research in the area.
