This study focuses on addressing the difficulties faced in executing the budget adequately in
the city of Parintins-AM. It is necessary to plan and modernize budget legislation, seeking new
proposals to respond to citizens' wishes. Thus, this article will present information on the
preparation of the Public Budget, as well as evidence of its importance within public
management and, finally, an analysis will be carried out on budgetary control in the
Municipality of Parintins and the population conception about the theme. Thus, the content of
this research results from the analysis of bibliographical research and field research that
succeeded in ratifying that the more true the public budget, the more it will ensure the course
of social development and the fight against economic and regional inequalities.
