Studying chemistry goes far beyond numbers, formulas, and abstract theories; it is a logical discipline with ideas and practical applications that influence people's daily lives and lives. It is said that to study chemistry it is necessary to know nomenclatures and representations as a way of understanding the meaning of phenomena. However, this need can be considered exhaustive, so there is a periodic table (TP) to classify the elements and assist in the study and expansion of learning in chemistry and atomic models. With this, the playful games emerged, in order to help and facilitate the learning process of students, however the playful games were not perceived as a pedagogical or educational activity, but today its educational value is widely accepted by society, being accepted as a great helper tool in the educational process. It was two playful games, which were applied in two classes of high school integrated in Chemistry at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas. Initially, a previous questionnaire and a questionnaire after the games were applied, in order to verify the contributions of this methodology in the teaching-learning process. With the accomplishment of the project, it was possible to observe through the results a great evolution in the learning of the content, being thus an effective methodology to assist in the teaching-learning process.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Atividades experimentais no ensino de química: o olhar dos estudantes em uma escola pública de Manaus(2022-06-29) Simão, Karolyn Rabech Silva; Magalhães, Mayara Letícia Paiva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8774951816729767; Magalhães, Mayara Letícia Paiva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8774951816729767; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944321508964046; Mendonça, Rogete Batista e Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5623350701700106This research seeks to contribute to the improvement in the teaching and learning of chemistry, through the use of experimental activities with students from the 1st year of high school in a public school in Manaus. The research aimed to understand how the experiences in the Pibid and Pedagogical Residency programs contribute to ny initial training as a student of the Licentiate Degree in Chemistry at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, Campus Manaus Center. During the immersion in the school environment, observation and interaction with students, teachers and the entire school community, I used the training memorial as a self-training instrument. Participation in the Pibid and Pedagogical Residency programs allowed the approximation and familiarization with the profession, through observation and conducting in the school environment, made possible the Exchange of experience with more experienced teachers trained in chemistry. Therefore, teacher training programs are designed to enhance the teaching profession by validating the knowledge acquired by elemenatry school teachers throughout their careers and placing them as co-trainers of new teachers. In addition, they contributed positively to the initial training of future teachers, leaving them more secure in the role of teacher, enabling them to atribute new meanings to the teaching profession and bringing conviction to the choice of profession.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Cupulate nas aulas de química: uma proposta de sequência didática para o ensino de lipídios baseada nos princípios da pedagogia histórico-crítica(2023-12-04) Duarte, Sônia Mendes; Almeida, Luene Cristina Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7134813091920240; Almeida, Luene Cristina Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7134813091920240; Vale, Adriana Carla Oliveira de Morais; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4121425372985654; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944321508964046The present work aims to promote the learning of lipid content, from the chemistry discipline, for students in the 3rd year of regular high school through a proposal for a didactic sequence, based on the principles of Dermeval Saviani's historical-critical pedagogy. Therefore, we sought to answer the question: how could a didactic sequence, based on the principles of historical-critical pedagogy, contribute to the teaching of lipids in the 3rd year of high school? Then, a methodological path was followed adopting a qualitative, descriptive approach. Resulting in the development of a didactic sequence, in five moments of historical-critical pedagogy, highlighting the instrumentation with the understanding of cupulate production relating to the lipid content, followed by catharsis, with the practical class of the process obtaining cupulate, a sweet similar to chocolate made from cupuaçu. In this way, learning begins with an initial social practice and is transformed into scientific knowledge, making the student appropriate the lipid content within their social practice.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso O ensino de Química através da metodologia dos temas geradores e o uso de recursos didáticos: uma abordagem sobre drogas(2021-02-26) Pelheta, Cássio Daniel Medeiros; Costa, Kátia Maria Guimarães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4801914492093251; Costa, Kátia Maria Guimarães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4801914492093251; Mendonça, Rogete Batista e Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5623350701700106; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944321508964046The present work uses the methodology of the generating themes and a proposal to use some didactic resources to work on a generating theme that emerged through a thematic investigation. According to one of the greatest educators in history, Paulo Freire had the vision of an education that frees individuals through “critical, transformative and differential awareness, which emerges from education as a practice of freedom, the construction of the meaning of education for Paulo Freire it is based on dialogicity and problematization of the reality experienced and the social contradictions experienced by the students and these are portrayed through the generative themes. If you get a generating theme, according to him, it occurs through a thematic investigation. Delizoicov (1990) systematized thematic investigation in five stages: 1st - preliminary reality survey, 2nd - analysis of situations and choice of codifications, 3rd - thematic investigation circle, 4th - Thematic reduction and 5th - development of the program in the classroom . In this perspective, the focus of this work was to evaluate how the use of generating themes could contribute to the teaching-learning process of students in high school. The construction of the data had been obtained through interviews and questionnaires applied to the classes. The results of the first two stages proposed by Freire (2020) and systematized by Delizoicov (1990) emerged on the following themes: drugs, health, work and education. In the 3rd stage, these issues were discussed with students in order to choose the most significant one, which was "Drugs". From this generative theme, it was selected how such contents of the “drugs” theme would be worked on (4th stage, thematic reduction). Based on the steps, the generator theme emerged through presentations by the group of participating students, through several different didactic resources between two high school classes in a public school in the city of Manaus, AM, Brazil. The data of this research were collected through the initial questionnaires and a report of final experience, proposed to the groups and analyzed through the content analysis of Bardin (1994). The results generated from this work show that the use of the methodology of the generating themes, favors the teaching of Chemistry, as well as a more critical and citizen education of students.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Estratégias didáticas para o ensino dos elementos químicos e suas propriedades(2019-12-06) Paiva, Antônia Jaqueline Vitor de; Costa, Katia Maria Guimarães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4801914492093251; Costa, Kátia Maria Guimarães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4801914492093251; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944321508964046; Santos, Ana Lúcia Mendes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4731643147452069Periodic table has long been taught in such a way that students are forced to memorize the symbols of chemical elements, names and numbers, without due consideration of the usefulness of these elements in the students experience. Thus, the need arises to propose methodologies that surpass the plaster teaching memorization of the periodic table. This work aimed to develop a learning project using didactic strategies for teaching the chemical elements in the classroom, encouraging students creativity and contributing to the teaching of chemistry. The didactic strategies used were comics and a didactic game. The projet was developed at School Maria da Luz Calderaro, in a class of the first year of high school, totaling 37 students. Initially, a previous questionnaire was applied, followed by the interventions that took place through lectures and dynamic exercises, elaboration of comics with the chemical elements as illustrative characters and the didactic game entitled "Path of the chemical puzzle". To verify the didactic resource employed, a post-intervention questionnaire was applied with the same questions as the previous questionnaire. In the comics it was found that they were very interesting in which each demonstrated a different plot, and can classify this stage of the project as fruitful, productive and creative. The game was the form of assessment, which assessed student participation and commitment to help win the game, the moment provided a more pleasurable assessment for students, as well as remembering everything they learned about content what is important for meaningful learning. Results demonstrate significant evolution in the students conceptions about the chemical elements and their properties after the application of the didactic strategy. The answers of some students were concrete and the ideas more structured compared to the answers that were given in the previous knowledge stage showing that the interventions made with the students helped to clarify doubts expressed by them. It is hoped that this study can contribute to the teaching of chemical elements and their properties in teaching, participating in the training of students and helping teachers to streamline their teaching activity.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Experimentação e utilização de simuladores virtuais: abordagens alternativas para o ensino de ácido e base no ensino médio(2018-12-07) Silva, Samuel Oliveira da; Santos, Ana Lúcia Mendes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4731643147452069; Santos, Ana Lúcia Mendes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4731643147452069; Valle, Cláudia Magalhães do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6144588008175975; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944321508964046One of the most controversial and widely discussed pedagogical ideas in research in the area of teaching and education by professors and undergraduate students is the great difficulty that high school students face in the process of learning the contents of the discipline of Chemistry. Such difficulties found inside and outside the classroom such as the lack of interest of the students and teachers and the lack of contextualization of the contents of Chemistry with the daily life of the students has led many researchers to think about new alternative teaching and learning methodologies. Chemistry is a science where its knowledges are linked to the practice of experimental activities that aim to make the contents less abstract and difficult to understand. In this perspective, this work sought to investigate and analyze the impacts of the use of experimentation, and in a cooperative way to complement this activity with the use of virtual simulators in the classroom. This is a descriptive-exploratory research (case study), with a qualitative-quantitative approach, where the experiment and the simulator were worked in a high school class in a public school located in the city of Manaus / AM. The relative data about the acceptance and evaluation of these methodologies by the students were carried out through questionnaires and notes. Based on the obtained results, it was verified that the strategies used were efficient, since all the students understood the scientific concepts correctly, being therefore a great alternative to overcome some problems faced in the learning process learning the contents of acids and bases. It was also observed that such methodologies led students to act as researchers, with interactive and questioning attitudes among their classmates.Other Explorando a cinética química: o potencial dos simuladores computacionais pela metodologia POE(Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas, 2026-03-25) Leite, Dayanny Mayara Freitas; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues deThe educational product entitled “Teaching Guide for Teachers – Exploring Chemical Kinetics: The Potential of Computer Simulators through the POE Methodology” is the result of the research project “Exploring Chemical Kinetics: A Practical Approach through Computer Simulators and the POE Methodology”, developed within the framework of the Professional Master’s Program in Chemistry in National Network (PROFQUI) at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM). The topic arose from the urgent need of the Covid-19 pandemic, which made it impossible to have in-person classes at IFAM, Brazil, and worldwide. For this reason, the opportunity arose to develop a Repository of Digital Educational Technologies in Teaching for learning Chemistry in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, aiming to support the teaching of chemistry in high school through Digital Educational Technologies in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The study is characterized as a qualitative research, with a descriptive and exploratory nature. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire on Google Forms, which was answered by Chemistry teachers in technical high school education, from the three campuses in the capital of Amazonas at IFAM (Manaus Centro, Distrito Industrial, and Zona Leste). The research results showed that 88.9% of IFAM teachers were satisfied with the use of digital educational technologies during the period of social isolation, as they proved to be an essential resource for the continuation of classes and the interaction between teachers and students. However, 11.1% of the respondents expressed dissatisfaction with the use of digital educational technologies, indicating that not all resources are consistent with the needs of the classroom, especially in the case of remote teaching. Therefore, it is important to select and group in a repository the digital educational technologies chosen and tested by high school chemistry teachers during the pandemic, which can assist in the teaching and learning process, both in virtual and in-person settings, helping the teacher to choose which resource is suitable for a particular lesson. Thus, the research highlighted the importance and possibilities of using ICTs to support the learning of chemistry during high school.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Roteiros didáticos: proposta de ensino utilizando o cardboard para abordar a temática de forças intermoleculares com alunos do ensino médio(2021-08-13) Noronha Junior, Alexandre Medina; Souza, Heliamara Paixão Filizola; Souza, Heliamara Paixão Filizola; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944321508964046; Costa, Katia Maria Guimarães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4801914492093251With the advancement of technologies, it is possible to find virtual reality increasingly immersed in the daily lives of human beings. In the school environment, it has gained space, since through it is possible to generate significant learning, allowing the student to experience new sensations that go beyond those experienced when the teacher only uses didactic resources such as the board and the textbook. However, due to its high implementation, schools and their teachers encounter numerous difficulties in working with virtual reality in the classroom. Thus, the objective of this work is to understand how the Cardboard application can help the teaching of chemistry through the use of didactic scripts. The activities were applied with students from a public school in the city of Manaus, and as results, it was noted that the use of technological resources and the didactic script for the teaching of chemistry, specifically with the theme of molecular interactions, based on virtual reality, allowed not only a better understanding of the content, but also a bilateral relationship between educator and student.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso O uso da metodologia ativa como ferramenta de aprendizagem: aplicação de jogo sobre a tabela periódica para 1º ano do ensino médio(2021-04-08) Andrade, Iolanda Souza; Oliveira, José Ribamar da Silva; Oliveira, José Ribamar da Silva; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944321508964046; Salazar, Deuzilene Marques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4519799169077909Several factors contribute for the teaching of chemistry to move away from its main purpose. Bearing in mind that the analysis of the new curricular proposals for teaching chemistry, the present work was developed for application in the 1st year of high school in the perspective of producing a periodic table with EVA and a set of questions and answers that addresses the periodic table. Much research shows the importance of playful games for teaching chemistry. In general, the teaching materials are not linked to the students' reality. Therefore, the bibliographic survey that will be presented will address the functions of playful games in the teaching of chemistry as an active methodology, with the objective of developing a game for practice in the classroom. The results obtained indicate that the construction of the table and the application of the game that were carried out in the classroom, makes students more interested in the chemistry subject with a greater understanding of the periodic table. Therefore, the results indicate that with games students can develop a greater logical reasoning leading to a greater understanding of the chemical elements leading to more involvement in the classes with more dynamism and making the classes part of the construction of their knowledge.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Uso das tecnologias digitais no ensino-aprendizagem de química no contexto da pandemia(2023-12-06) Bastos, Luana Caroline de Souza; Silva, Viviane Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3840356643382333; Silva, Viviane Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3840356643382333; Melo, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944321508964046; Costa, Katia Maria Guimarães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4801914492093251The objective of this work is to present an analysis of the use of digital technologies in teaching and learning Chemistry for high school students at a publie school in Manaus, related to the period before and after the Covid-19 Pandemic, from the student's perspective. The research was carried out at the Tiradentes State School within the scope of the Pedagogical Residency Program - CAPES, in partnership with the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM) in the year 2023. The Pedagogical Residency Program (RP) launched by Notice no. 06/2018, from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - CAPES, a foundation linked to the Ministry of Education, and aims to provide undergraduate students with improvements in their practical training through their immersion in the basic education school, starting from the second half of your course. In view of this, a descriptive and exploratory research was carried out, considering that it will bring a bibliographical survey of the topic, as well as an analysis of new knowledge collected in the field research. This work aims to enable the significant learning of quantum numbers, especially the principal quantum number (n) through an application developed in App Inventor and based on the pillars of Gamification that has elements capable of motivating the student. The application has the aid of three short videos available on You Tube that approching the evolution of atomic models, especially the Bohr model and Quantum Numbers. In addition, it consists of a question and answer game related to the videos and a ranking system to perform the interaction between the players. For that, the application of a questionnaire containing discursive and objective questions, the application of the game and a dialogue with the students respectively, was used. The results of the diagnostic questionnaire showed that majority of the students conceived it as Rutherford's atom, but described it as the Rutherford- Bohr atom. As for the Bohr Model, it was found that they had a glimmer of the model that was restricted to an improvement of Rutherford. egarding the quantum numbers, they had difficulty in conceptualizing, since they had an idea how to find and who they are. In the application of the game and established dialogue, the students were able to understand both the theories that constitute the evolution of atomic models and quantum numbers through the application that helped to remember the contents already seen and contributed with additional information in a way dynamic and interactive. However, it is worth noting that the greatest difficulty encountered by the students was not to understand quantum numbers, but the evolution of the models throughout history and its relation with quantum numbers, especially the principal. As for the use of the application in the classroom it was possible to perceive the contribution to learning as a technological resource and to analyze the points that need to be revised to aprimorate it.
