The methodology respects the characteristics of bibliographical research, based on articles from the period 2018 to 2023, in the Scielo databases, Google Scholar, Periodicals CAPES and university websites that present scientific works published on the subject. The results show that with the implementation of RAMI 4.0, greater practicality is provided due to the presence of connectivity in the technologies used; ensures that the company's main objectives are achieved and introduces the company to a new level of organization, in which it is capable of managing its entire value chain along with the product's life cycle. In addition, with the availability of all relevant information in real time, it is possible to integrate all agencies participating in value creation processes, and also create value networks between self-organized companies, dynamic and in real time through the interconnection of people, “things” and systems according to their capacities.
