Proposed Layout Improvement For Optimization And Automation Of Productive Process. 2019. XX. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Bacharelado em Engenharia de Controle e Automação – Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas – Campus Manaus Distrito Industrial. Amazonas, Manaus, 2019. Amid a demanding and dynamic consumer market of constant technological changes, companies are increasingly investing in process improvement and cost reduction to become increasingly competitive and stable in the market, for this made a fundamental and decisive factor in the area of Manufacturing is the layout organization of a factory, it has a direct and significant impact on costs and process efficiency. Activities such as material storage, material handling as well as their organization and systematic control count as necessary automation elements for a more fluid development of activities. This paper analyzes the layout and consequently the production processes of the company MDC Industry of Intelligence Containers Ltda. Manufacturer of custom datacenters and smart safes, intending a proposal to adapt the layout and implementation of levels and automation elements to optimize the production process by minimizing the production time by reducing the distances traveled and obstacles encountered between the production processes and dispatch of goodsItem Um sistema para comunicação nas dependências de instituições usando NODEMCU-VISION(2020-02-28) Cunha, Nora Neyse Torres da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey Godinho; Fernandes, Priscila Silva; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner daCommunication is fundamental for interaction and dialogue between people who live together, allowing to share knowledge and experiences. Thus, this work aims to develop a communication system in the dependencies of the Federal Institute of Amazonas, allowing the exchange of information between servers and students without the need for staff to travel to classrooms, avoiding delays and mishaps in passing communications. It is noticeable that news or reports are being shared every day, but due to the dispersal of students in college, the means by which data must be announced is difficult for all to see simultaneously. In addition, the process of disclosing warnings or breaking news is not publicly transmitted. Currently, the Federal Institute of Amazonas does not have a device that provides the objectives demonstrated by this study, the proposal to create a system for exclusive communication of IFAM between students, servers and teachers of low cost and embedded, which meets the current need for a technology. vision to make the exchange of information agile, planned and effective. The lack of this type of system in school environments emphasizes research and development in the technological area providing continuous improvement in communication processes, due to the concern about the lack of transparency with students and teachers. Thus, the ESP8266 microcontroller, embedded on the NodeMCU hardware platform, is responsible for receiving the JSON file, which interprets by displaying the string (text) in the LED array. This microcontroller is commonly used and has the ability to receive codes via WiFi and is suitable for the project as it uses the IFAM LAN for sending messages. Therefore, with a low cost final product, ease of use and reliability of answers, tests were carried out in classrooms, whose results were satisfactory during the whole process of passing information.Item O uso da tecnologia em forma de aplicativo como melhoria para a logística reversa do lixo eletrônico(2020-03-05) Silva, Vinícius Rocha Lima da; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey Godinho; Nascimento, Sérgio Vieira do; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey Godinho; Nascimento, Sérgio Vieira doThe current reality of our planet shows that more and more electronic waste is growing, and consequently people are not knowing how to dispose of it, making it an enemy of the environment. The lack of knowledge on the subject has been decreasing day after day, thanks to the world of the internet and its shared information, making more people worry about this serious problem. This project aims to help not only a reverse logistics company to optimize and increase its number of customers, but also seeks to make people aware of the correct disposal. A study was developed to increase the collection of electronic waste and optimize the process through data collection and using technological and quality tools, thus seeking to achieve its objectives.Item Uma plataforma educacional de baixo custo baseada no sistema barra e bola para o estudo de desempenho de sistemas dinâmicos(2020-03-17) Paiva, Jean Carlos Barbosa de; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey Godinho; Fernandes, Priscila SilvaSince the end of the last century, technology has evolved rapidly causing changes in society. Transformations in health, economics and communication are examples of these changes and the area of education is one of the fields that suffers the most positive influences from the use of technology. Thus, this work presents the development of a low-cost educational platform based on the bar and ball system for teaching the discipline of control of dynamic systems to be allocated in the control laboratory of the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM), where students can study the performance of dynamic systems and prove concepts seen in the classroom, avoiding the abstraction caused by classroom theory. It is well known that the teaching of engineering based exclusively on speeches passes on a very incomplete and not very instigating idea, which generates disapproval and disinterest on the part of the students. Currently, there is no educational platform at the Federal Institute of Amazonas aimed at teaching the control discipline as developed in this work. Therefore, an educational platform was developed to be used exclusively by IFAM teachers and students, filling the lack of a technology that combines the theory seen in classrooms and operational practice. The lack of this type of tool, in a technology teaching site, is a flaw that must be remedied in order to improve the campus teaching process and instigate research to be carried out in the area that highlight the IFAM’s name. Therefore, a modeling of the bar and ball system, bibliographic review of the PID controller with implementation through the Arduino platform, development of a graphical interface to control the bar and ball plant through the software in Labview, in addition to the simulation and analysis of the plant in Matlab software in order to graphically present the system performance and the possible gains of the controller through the Matlab control toolbox and systems.Item 3 L printer: projeto e desenvolvimento de uma impressora 3D de baixo custo baseado no processo de prototipagem rápida(2020-10-15) Silveira, Leone Raulino; Nascimento, José Fábio de Lima; Nascimento, José Fábio de Lima; Abreu, Luiz Henrique Portela de; Sampaio, Ricardo BrandãoThis article presents the development of a low-cost 3D printer through fusion and deposition modeling, using the rapid prototyping method useful for making parts in a simple, inexpensive and personalized way. The vast majority of the project's components were printed on the 3D Creality printer, others purchased at the lowest price available on the market and the rest through the used retailer. The technologies used to build the machine were due to the interdisciplinary nature of the electrical, electronic, mechanical and programming areas so that they work in a systemic way. In order to avoid overheating due to the high current demand of the system, a thermal relay was used to protect the developed project. After assembling and calibrating the 3L Printer, quality and precision comparable to commercial printers was achieved. In addition, the overall cost of the project is below the average price of printers in the current market.Item Sistema de detecção de objeto personalizado utilizando inteligência artificial(2020-11-06) Marques, Lucas de Souza; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Fernandes, Priscila Silva; Netto, José MagalhãesThis work aims to develop an automatic object verification system on a production line. Currently, there is a market for object detection that comprises values above R$ 100 thousand reais for the implementation of the same project. The project is based on being developed on a completely Open Source platform. The proposal consists of creating a low-cost Python language system that solves the problems of instantaneous line stops and field problems related to the lack of the object and make it portable to any computer. Due to the fast time of the line some boxes go unnoticed in the eyes of the operator and with the implemented system it is expected that all boxes are controlled and detect all manuals and take their own actions autonomously without the need for human intervention following the concept of industry 4.0. The developed system had quick responses (about 40 milliseconds) for the evaluation of each image and is already implemented in the factory.Item Estação meteorológica portátil com cultura maker interdisciplinar para ensino de física e programação de computadores(2021-03-02) Melo, Larissa Alencar de; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Souza, Daniel F. de; Fernandes, Priscila SilvaIt is known that teaching physics can be considered difficult due to so many calculations, graphs and numbers. Often, the ability to associate formulas and theoretical content with everyday life does not happen clearly for students. In addition, teaching Computer Programming is also difficult for students, as they often lack the skills to understand the logical steps for solving problems using a computer. Therefore, the objective of the project presented in this article is to facilitate the teaching of Physics through the maker culture, in the do-it-yourself (DIY) process. As a case study to apply the maker culture to the teaching of Physics and Computer Programming, we created a portable meteorological station with Arduino, a low cost free hardware, so that students could relate Thermodynamics to Computer Programming, in this way seeking to improve the way of reasoning and visibility with the help of theoretical Physics, maker culture and everyday life. In the construction of this meteorological station, it was possible to study and visualize the state variables of Thermodynamics using Arduino as a monitoring platform. In our work, we were initially going to perform experiments in person, but we had to apply remote experiments due to the covid-19 pandemic. In this experiment, 20 second-year High School students of a technical course in Electronics participated from a science and technology institution in Brazil. All students were subjected to an initial test regarding concepts of Thermodynamics and Computer Programming, in order to obtain the initial diagnosis of these students. Then, all the students attended an online lesson from the Physics teacher and finally, the students were divided, through a draw, into 2 groups: the group that participated in the remote maker experiments (10 students) and the group that did not participate (10 students). We applied a final test to the whole class, in order to obtain the levels of expertise of the class regarding the concepts of Thermodynamics and Computer Programming. The results obtained, the comparison between the groups that participated and did not participate in the remote maker activities, the report of these remote experiences and the adjustments made to reach the largest possible number of students show the feasibility of the proposal, in addition to reported challenges and future directions.Item Projeto mecânico do sistema de HIPOT para ensaio com tensão aplicada(2021-03-02) Carvalho, Michael da Silva; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Fernandes, Priscila Silva; Pereira, Micila Sumaria MedeirosWork accidents involving electricity have increased in recent years, mainly in industries through contact with energized equipment. One of these equipments is HiPOT (High Potential), which is used in a test called “test with applied voltage” being implemented to verify the electrical insulation of several products. In electric meters, this test is mandatory and standardized by INMETRO, however some companies apply it without observing the operators' job security. With this in mind, a HiPOT system was developed, which consists of a cradle where the meters are placed and they come into contact with the high voltage equipment automatically, observing the isolation of the process, and applying several NR- 12, distancing the operator from risks, and promoting a direction for similar projects to apply these concepts in automatic validation tests. Various materials were used and the importance of each one is explored in the methodology, being divided into mechanical, electrical and pneumatic and software design. The results obtained were satisfactory, since the prototype was implemented in a production line of the company Wasion da Amazônia, thus allowing the development of two more pieces of equipment to meet the company's production needs.Item Sistema de inspeção visual para identificação de controle remoto em linha de montagem(2021-03-23) Moura, Melissa Kerolin Mauricio de; Sampaio, Ricardo Brandão; Sampaio, Ricardo Brandão; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Lima, Hillermann Ferreira OsmidioCurrently, with the exponential evolution of new automation technologies, large industries are increasingly betting on the implementation of tests on their assembly lines. These tests are able to ensure safety, quality and reliability of the products during the assembly process and of its finished products. Some quality indicators, or KPIs, are used to evaluate these products, such as the Product Analysis Laboratory, or LAP. At the Whirlpool company, during the LAP, some products without remote control were identified inside the packaging. The same situation was identified by another KPI, which indicates the field incidents, that is, which occurred at the customer's home, customers were receiving products without remote control. Due to these issues, there was a need to implement a test to ensure that the remote control was always placed and identified inside the EPS before the product was packaged. The solution found was the use of a vision system installed at the workstation, interlocked with a product movement hoist. This implementation ensures that only if the remote control is placed in the EPS and the test status is approved, the movement hoist will be released and the product placed in the EPS to be packaged.Item Sistema automático de irrigação com água da chuva(2021-03-31) Furtado, Lucas Jorhan Nishimura; Reis, Ailton Gonçalves; Palheta, Pedro Ivan das Graças; Reis, Ailton Gonçalves; Graças, Pedro Ivan das; Ramos, Juan Gabriel de Albuquerque; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey GodinhoThis work consists of the study of an automated irrigation system for houseplants in order to guarantee the efficient use of rainwater. The system uses information from the soil moisture sensor to control the irrigation process. The system interface allows the visualization of the state that meets the level of the tanks. After the analyzes made by means of simulation, satisfactory results were found both for the reduction of the u se of drinking water and for the autonomous decision of the functioning of the process.Item Modelagem de processo crítico de manufatura utilizando linguagem de autômatos para liberação paramétricaq(2021-06-11) Silva, João Gabriel Santos; Neves, Cleonor Crescêncio das; Neves, Cleonor Crescêncio das; Rocha, Dário Souza; Nascimento, José Fábio de Lima; Brito, Francisco OliveiraThe present work is focused on presenting an alternative to improve manufacturing processes using automata languages capable of enabling, through parametric release, the endorsement of products that were approved during quality tests and that did not present during their manufacture, any defective characteristics from the beginning until the last packaging station of the product so that it can be sold on the market. This study was based on a project carried out in a company from the Industrial Pole of Manaus during the internship period, in which quality criteria / standards were used to identify crucial stages of the production chain, in order to use concepts aimed at automaton languages capable of simulate an existing small-scale process. In order to allow fluid systems to control the advance to a stage to follow only in cases where a previous condition is met, a flow of execution of the equipment has been developed so that it is possible to perform the blocking of materials throughout any stage of its manufacture based on the analysis of conforming and non-conforming parameters in which its components / equipment if specified. Taking this alternative into consideration, it becomes feasible to propose a system capable of guaranteeing cost reduction with production losses, carrying out different simulations for events that may arise due to external interferences or from the equipment itself, mapping the states of each component during all its stages of the manufacturing process, in addition to increasing the reliability and safety of the finished product for the final consumer.Item Automação de testes funcionais da placa eletrônica de notebook J14KR em fábrica do PIM(2021-07-07) Silva, Gabriel Nunes da; Ramos, Juan Gabriel de Albuquerque; Ramos, Juan Gabriel de Albuquerque; Carvalho, Carlos Ronaldo Cardoso de; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey GodinhoThis college work has as objective the efficient applications of maintenance tools and quality to test automation of notebook electronic boards at PIM (Polo Industrial de Manaus). It was pointed a slow use in boards tests process and, accordingly a small tax number of tested boards, in face of SMT machines are capable to produce. Test was manual yet, that is, all board functions are tested using human actions, expenses with manufacture and Spare Parts consumable materials did not add in significant way in final product value, reducing quality and reducing quality satisfaction. The proposal to reduce to acceptable values was to use an automated test mechanism, that was satisfactory to maintenance tools and quality. To align these tools with a good number of produced and tested boards, already to final client with medium values established by company. After analysis using a defined methodology and implemented corrective actions, it was visible a considerable cost reduce, increasing PDCA cycle efficacy and others support tools, ending the work successfully.Item Monitoramento das instalações de ar condicionado no interior das salas de aula do IFAM(2021-07-16) Penha, Elton Silveira da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Alves, Fernanda da Silva; Silva, Nivaldo Rodrigues eMonitoring air conditioning equipment is an important factor in several types of institutions, since it is necessary to acclimatize spaces with little noise and without risk of contamination. Based on this context, this work aimed to analyze the air conditioning installations inside the IFAM classrooms, then proposing a maintenance plan. The basic purpose of this monitoring is to monitor the performance of the devices through measurements of temperature, humidity and noise and identify those devices that present failures or difficulties in operation, thus allowing a more effective maintenance intervention. Based on the data collected, it can be identified that the analyzed air conditioners have an inadequate operation, since the room temperatures are above the determined in the device. In addition, the noise level is above that specified by NBR 10152, affecting not only the hearing of students and teachers, but also harming the class. Humidity values are also inadequate, indicating that the devices need a maintenance plan. Therefore, three lines of maintenance were proposed to prevent these problems. These maintenance are monthly, semi-annual and annual, considering the use of the campus maintenance team.Item Um sistema robótica para promover o pensamento computacional(2021-07-16) Costa, Bruno Silva da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Sousa, Jeanne Moreira de; Fernandes, Priscila SilvaRobotics is a study science that encompasses several types of processes to provoke the ability of a robot to execute a set of instructions. The teaching of this practice has become quite common in schools, as it influences and works the student's thinking on new trends and influences the same to think logically. Today a robot is able to carry out various activities, from separating items, cleaning your home and even communicating. In this context, schools have tried to adapt to stimulate students with disciplines of logical reasoning, as this requires concentration and strategy to draw a logical sequence to accomplish a task. In view of this scenario, a prototype of a robotic system was developed, composed of an open-source manipulator robot of the robotic arm type, as well as enabling children, young people and adolescents to stimulate the detection and learning of colors, computational thinking and programming logic. The results obtained with the development of the didactic robotic system were satisfactory, since collaboration in the learning of students using the robotic system was proven.Item Desafio no ensino de física para alunos surdos: estratégias didáticas(2021-07-24) Sena, Carla Daniela Castro Nunes; Souza, José Carlos Ferreira; Souza, José Carlos Ferreira; Reis, Ailton Gonçalves; Souza, Daniel Fonseca deThis research project aims to understand in practice the biggest challenges of physics teachers in the task of teaching deaf students, as well as the possible distresses of those students who are studying elementary or high school subjects, which involve the area of physics. In this phase, we propose a scientific bibliographic survey about existing didactic materials for teaching physics and their applicability, in addition to understanding what teachers and students have to say about such challenges in the teaching-learning process. After collecting and analyzing data, the great difficulty existing between teachers and deaf students when it comes to the subject of physics was ratified. It was possible to conclude that it is possible to raise the learning level of these students based on an adaptation by everyone involved in the classroom, including materials and teaching methods.Item Análise da eficácia de aplicação da metodologia FMEA em um processo de manufatura de receptores de TV(2021-08-10) Carvalho, Fernanda Nicoly Freires de; Ramos, Juan Gabriel de Albuquerque; Ramos, Juan Gabriel de Albuquerque; Carvalho, Carlos Ronaldo Cardoso deNowadays, with a totally globalized market, the constant search for competitive advantages is a determining factor for the company‟s success. The focus on continuous improvement process is considered a routine and usual activity, since the results of these improvements will translate into better product quality and increased productivity. In this context, the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) methodology is widely used, as it is a proactive tool, which allows the identification and prevention of errors in the process. Therefore, the more effective the use of this tool, more benefits the company will have. This project aims to analyze the process of manufacturing TV receivers by the FMEA method, in order to map the flaws and inherent risks to it, in addition to presenting and implementing improvement actions to gain productivity and quality products, leaving the process stable.Item Implementação de algoritmo Hector Slam em veículos terrestre não tripulado em ambiente dinâmico e sem acesso a GPS.(2021-12-12) Bezerra, Luciano Santos; Abecassis, Úrsula Vasconcelos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3588263498990428; Abecassis, Úrsula Vasconcelos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3588263498990428; Nascimento, José Fábio de Lima; ttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0056522906128231; Santos, Renan Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6930748017205035The demand for mobile robots that perform the task of autonomous transport has grown in research institutes, such as Innovation Hub/IFAM, and the technology for their manufacture, configuration and implementation in an industrial environment covers several, current and future, problems that robotics proposes to solve. These problems sometimes seem easy for human beings, such as walking, communicating and recording the environment around them through maps. Such tasks require the integration of actuators, sensors and systems focused on odometry and creation of cartographic records. The challenges increase when the robot in question responsible for mapping must work in a dynamic environment, that is, where obstacles, which must be avoided, can appear, disappear or move around the map. One framework developed aiming to achieving these functionalities is ROS (Robot Operating System) which provides a platform for creating code, in Python and C++, and tools to be used in robotics systems in general, with emphasis on applications such as industrial AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), military UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle), emergency response vehicles and space explores such as ROVER MARS 2020, and perhaps most importantly, for sharing solutions between the most diverse types of robots. This work details the construction of a teleoperated robot with the ability to map indoor environments using a LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor combined with HECTOR SLAM in the ROS platform, as the robotic system responsible for synchronizing sensors, actuators and algorithms. Although delivering satisfactory results, the developed robotic platform encounters difficulties in generating odometry due to problems reading the encoder sensors and wheel slippage on smooth terrain.Item Simulação de sistema de coleta seletiva automatizada para descarte de materiais de metal e plástico(2022-01-06) Bandeira, Beatriz Machado dos Santos; Reis, Ailton Gonçalves; Reis, Ailton Gonçalves; Rodrigues Filho, João Nery; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey GodinhoGarbage is a big problem in cities, since it causes several problems, such as the appearance of harmful animals, increased flooding and visual pollution of the place. As a result, many measures for separating and collecting waste are being promoted, in addition to raising awareness among the general population. The IFAM Campus Distrito Industrial also carries out this type of activity, but it is possible to note that the waste is often not placed in its correct location, making it difficult to separate and generating the adversities mentioned above. Therefore, noting that IFAM has courses focused on the automation area, this work focuses on the study and possible creation of an automation system for the selective material collection process at Campus Distrito.
