It begins with the concepts and definitions of thermodynamics, then the concepts of the zero law of thermodynamics are explained. The first law, with details coming from its formula as the variation of internal energy, work and its applications. The conditions of the second law began. We presented the ideas of reversibility and reversibility of a system showing the thoughts of Sadi Carnot for the construction of his perfect machine and the maximum yield that it could achieve. We have shown what is the entropy and the disorder that it causes in a system, as well as a statistical analysis of its configurations and finally we show the development of the thermal machines through this whole constructed concept and concludes by relating the application of the concepts with the evolution of machines.
