During the risk analysis, it was identified that the operator was exposed to the risk of hand crushing when positioning plates in the machine's cradle. The objective of the research was to implement technical modifications to ensure the machine's compliance with NR-12 and improve worker safety. The adaptation was guided by the NBR ISO 12100 and NBR 14153 standards, which served as the basis for the risk assessment, while the 5W2H tool was used to detail the necessary modifications. The process involved the preparation of a Preliminary Risk Assessment (PRA), machine adaptation with identified safety components, compliance testing, and the preparation of a technical report certifying safe operation. After implementing the adjustments, results showed a significant reduction in accident risks and increased productivity. Furthermore, there was an improvement in the quality of the plate tests, as the safety peripherals prevented operator intervention during the validation process. There are an infinite variety of suppliers and manufacturers due to large applicability. Thus, quality control is important to ensure its mechanical properties in accordance with standards. So, the aim of this study was to compare randomly obtained generic bolts and standard bolts against established quality assurance standards. With regard to the tensile mechanical properties, the results showed that a standardized screw has a maximum resistance stress of 1137.39 ± 18.2 MPa, a lower value than that of a generic screw of 1164.00 MPa ± 32.42. However, the elongation of standardized screws was approximately 14%, a value higher than that of generic screws, around 10%. The Rockwell hardness results (HRC) confirmed that both bolts undergo a tempering and tempering heat treatment, as well observed on the microstructure. And finally, the elemental analysis of the percentage of Carbon-Sulfur showed that both bolts had values within the specified range. In order to carry out a study of the results, the present work proposes a comparative analysis of bodies of equal thickness of 1/4 ", with posterior tensile testing and analysis of the results by stress strain diagrams. In order to improve the knowledge about the work, is made the bibliographic review study with the main topics related to the study, for example, symbologies used in the welding, welding equipment used in industry, coated electrode concept, as well as its specifications of use, safety standards that are used, the sample body model and the type of test used. The steel used in the study has a low carbon content, on average 0.2%, and is composed of manganese, phosphorus.For the preparation of the test specimens, the plasma cutting process was used due to its ease and simplicity of use. The welding process chosen was the electrode coating with direct current from ESAB MOD OrigoTM ARC 406 machine. Regarding the methodology, a qualitative research was used, as the phenomena and occurrences were analyzed based on data collected in the process through the use of quality tools. The study of the process data indicated great operational underutilization caused by the long unproductive time in the packaging process and presented expressive results after the implementation of the automatic packaging machine. Thus, it was important to note that, in certain processes, it is necessary to equip the line with robust machinery in order to obtain the best use of available labor. All these factors contribute to different effects on the surface quality of a machining process, there are several ways to quantify and qualify these different changes that will also be explained in the theoretical study. The equipment and the history of evolution turning process help to understand how it was allowing the control of these data and studies of the same for improvement of production processes, and they were becoming more demanding and the final customer. The normalization of machining were also suiting the requirements of industries. This paper analyzes the roughness of machined surfaces in the cylindrical turning, conducting a study on the parameters: Cutting speed (Vc), forward (Fn) and mainly analyzing the influence of tip radius on the final quality measuring that data and putting in graphics for best viewing insert which applies the best view of the finishing process. The suspension pivot is an element that receives large loads from braking, up and down movement of the wheel and change of direction. He is responsible for sustaining the wheel and connecting the bodywork to the other suspension elements. The part is a model belonging to a 2013 passenger vehicle, which after the failure was stored in a plastic bag from the new replaced part, after being stored indoors for about six months. The manufacturer of the part was also not identified. Ductile failures usually occur during manufacturing or service start-up. According to ASTM Handbook 11, the most common ductile fracture failures are related to errors in controlling service stresses, misuse or abuse in service, improper selection or processing of materials, or poor manufacturing. The present study was intended to show a correct analysis of mechanical failure. In the fractographic analysis stages, a preliminary examination was carried out, which includes; the photographic record of the piece received, and cleaning and macroscopic examination, this consists of observing the fractured surface in a stereomicroscope. Furthermore, the ventilation system is also important to ensure health, safety and comfort conditions for workers. The present study aimed to generate data related to the compliance conditions of the ventilation system installed in a professional kitchen at IFAM - Campus Manaus Centro. This seeks to demonstrate the degree of conformity of the desired items in the installed system. To carry out the analysis, a literature review on the subject was carried out, technical visits to the research site, development and application of a compliance checklist were carried out. The evaluation focused on aspects such as the efficiency of the ventilation system, safety of kitchen workers, and as a main point the system's compliance with the regulatory standard NBR 14518 – ventilation systems in professional kitchens. In these municipalities, diesel thermoelectric plants are usually presented as the most viable option for energy generation. This fuel was used in the generation of electricity in Coari until 2020, when Siemens started operating a gas-fired thermoelectric plant in the city. The main objective of this work is to analyze the operating conditions of the new plant and the results achieved. As an introduction, the energy sector in the country and in the state of Amazonas was addressed, as a way of contextualizing and justifying the relevance of the theme. There was also a brief presentation of the installed plant, raising hypotheses and questions about it. Data regarding the supply contract and average fuel price were obtained through agencies and public companies in the sector, such as ANEEL and EPE. After the presentation of the theoretical framework, technical data disclosed by the turbine manufacturer (Siemens) was collected. The simulation software RETScreen, developed by the Government of Canada, made it possible to carry out the analyses. The results showed that the project is economically profitable for the company contracted to supply the energy and that the electricity generated in the gas plant with combined cycle costs 73% less than the energy produced in the diesel plants. The maximum power achieved by the plant was 38,891 kWh and the combined cycle efficiency was calculated at 49.63%. Specifically, seam welding, which is extremely important in the manufacturing scenario. However, this technique presents considerable risks for the operators involved. In this context, Regulatory Standard 12 (NR12) appears as a guideline to guarantee the safety and well-being of these workers. Therefore, the objective of this work is to carry out an in-depth analysis of the risks associated with the seam welding machine, proposing improvements based on the risk assessment, in accordance with the guidelines established by NR12. Thus, proposing to maximize the safety, health, well-being and comfort of people who attend school, taking into account the various polluting sources of biological, chemical and physical nature. It can be added, the greater efficiency, useful life and minimization of failures in the machines of the air conditioning system, culminating in financial savings, if we take into account the expenses with electric energy. For that, we used as a basis the recommendations of ANVISA (National Health Surveillance Agency) in resolution 9, of January 16, 2003; GM / MS Ordinance No. 3,523, of August 28, 1998, Law No. 13,589, of January 4, 2018, among other studies. The boiler outlet gases at 200ºC were used to preheat the available boiler feed water to 30ºC. The method adopted for the heat exchanger sizing was the effectiveness Number of Transfer Units (NUT). After installation of the heat exchanger, also called economizer, the feed water enters the boiler at 75 ° C. This temperature gain has made it possible to soften steam generation interruptions as replacement water enters the boiler, keeping steam working pressure more stable and improving the condition of steam generation. This made the equipment more efficient, reducing the production costs of the Styrofoam product. It was used the aluminum welding metallurgy studies of Kou (2003) and Mathers (2002). The general objective of this work is to raise the interferences of the TIG welding in an aluminum alloy of the series 6000 (Mg-Si), in respect of mechanical strength by mechanical tests of hardness and traction. The tensile test was performed on a butt joint of the aluminum alloy welded in the TIG process and also the hardness profile and macrografy in the heated affected zone and fusion zone. The results of the base metal were compared with those of the welded joint with the following conditions: Bar A as welded and Bar B welded and heated treated with T6. Finally, the analysis of the losses and gains in percentages. The results showed through the macrography that the welding was successful, and it was not possible to verify any typical weld defect. In the mechanical tests the welded sample had a reduction of about 50% in tensile strength and hardness of HAZ, keeping FZ without much loss of hardness in relation to BM. The samples that were treated with T6 artificial aging had a reduction of a little less than 35% in the tensile strength and completely recovered their hardness in the HAZ, but had a reduction of almost 50% of hardness in the FZ, making the material unable of deforming plastically and hence making to this zone of brittleness, which can be verified with the strain-strain graph and the elongation which was only 5%. Efficiency applied to the process means that the product is produced in the most rational way possible. Within the various types of systems in which the concept of efficiency can be applied, one of the most important, is the productive systems. The study of efficiency in the production system is one of the essential aspects for your business to remain active in the market. In some productive efficiency applications, such as in the LCD Module assembly line, they are of interest, as they provide improvements in certain flows of a stable process with less cost and waste. The LCD module is a light emitter with an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel prepared to receive the plates responsible for power supply and signal emissor. Liquid crystal displays (LCDs) are present in the electronic area in various equipment, with emphasis on TVs, calculators, computers and cell phones. With this in mind, the present study aimed to analyze and apply productive efficiency techniques in the process of an LCD Module assembly line, in order to use the available resources more intelligently, spending less and producing more. For this, the methodology was divided into four parts: Analysis of the current situation, Analysis of the Causes, Objective and Goals, Study of the Proposed Solutions and Implementation. In the analysis of the current situation was study the product, the production layout, the time of the production process and the defects of the process. In the analysis of the causes was defined the root causes of the problems or failures are defined. Then the goals and objectives were quantified. Finally, was analyzed the solutions and implementation in the production process. Through this work it was possible to visualize the failures and losses of a productive process and thereby obtain several gains. The bases for the construction of the mathematical models are in the mass conservation and energy balance equations. Control volume analyzes are in accordance with the properties of working fluids such as enthalpy, entropy, pressure, temperature and thermal exchanges. In addition, the best process efficiency was analyzed in comparison with the coefficient of performance of each particular refrigerant fluid in the refrigeration cycle and the monthly cost of electricity relating the price of the cylinder containing the fluid, with the work of the compressor and the hours cold room operation. Special software is used in order to optimize the organization of information and understanding of results. In view of the data presented, it was observed that the R-134a fluid tended to be the most efficient for the parameters of this thermodynamic cycle, since it has the capacity to carry out the refrigeration process with the lowest compressor effort in relation to other refrigerants. Thus, ReliabilityCentered Maintenance (RCM) suggests a structured methodology for conducting maintenance management with a focus on preventive actions. Therefore, this study proposes the use of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) tool in a brake bleeding machine of a two-wheeler automotive industry. The main objective of this work is to reduce failure time and increase the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of the respective machine. To determine the machinery to be applied in the tool, a survey was conducted on four machines that had the highest records of unplanned maintenance in the year 2021, and thus, the one with the greatest impact was chosen. For this process, the FMEA table was filled out with the main components of the machine, indicating their function, the main failure modes and effects, as well as the classification of the priority index for each item, through risk assessment. Subsequently, the existing preventive maintenance plan was reviewed and reformulated based on the analysis. Additionally, the necessary materials were acquired and scheduled replacements were carried out according to the established work schedule. The objective of this work is to apply the NR-13 through a checklist when performing a hydrostatic test in a pressure vessel in the IFAM mechanics laboratory. It is a bibliographical and experimental research, of a qualitative nature. A thorough reading of NR-13 was sought, a list of items to be inspected based on NR-13 was produced and a hydrostatic test was performed with a pressure vessel in the mechanics laboratory, where the importance of integrity was highlighted structure of the vessel, since the rupture of a unit of it causes serious accidents. However, because it is a machine that treats the air in a closed environment, if it is not properly maintained, it can negatively affect the users' health, causing illnesses or worsening the clinical condition of people with preexisting diseases and even taking To death. To avoid such problems, the Ministerial Order No. 3,523/98 was regulated by the Ministry of Health, which establishes rules and procedures to be practiced in collective settings. The city of Manaus has a hot and humid climate, where the use of air conditioning is undoubtedly necessary, so the UFAM TV building located in the urban area of the city requires air conditioning machines for its operation. This study seeks to present the PMOC required to the system of air conditioning of such a building so that it meets the current legislation. For this, an inventory of the air conditioning machines installed in the building was carried out to obtain information relevant to the installed project. Visual inspections were performed at the facility to detect possible problems. Finally, as a result, the PMOC was presented and could be implemented, in accordance with current regulations. Its objective was to implement and evaluate an automation system that is easy to handle for the assembly process of the motorcycle rear marker product, since it was in high levels of absenteeism and rejection, and thus ensure safety standards, quality and ergonomics. For this purpose, a field study was used as a research tool in a PIM motorcycle company, through the collection of data related to the operation on the line and technical report records containing performance indicators. When analyzing the data, it was verified that the assembly of the lock of the flag contained the process with the highest index of ergonomic problems, it was verified that it could be improved by the implantation of a pneumatic device, improving production rates without incurring risks the involved employee. With the aid of design software, the device was designed, produced, tested and deployed in the line. The results obtained were the reduction of ergonomic risks, since the operator realized a considerable force for the operation, being a mechanical device without human influence. The other result would be the elimination of problems related to the quality of the lock of the flag, and to make this device a process of continuous improvement and of great relevance for both the company and the employees involved.
