And the objective is to compare a corrective maintenance program (current) with the preventive maintenance plan (ideal). The methodology used was divided into four stages, such as what are the study or case factors, with probability of failure, development of a cycle counter device and finally, or a preventive maintenance plan. As the results were given frequency of failure and the most recurrent failure modes, as well as a probability of failure was identified, the ideal period for preventive maintenance, or the number of pre-failure operation cycles and the preventive maintenance plan used previous results. As final considerations elucidated that were verified without correspondence with the results found for probability of real failure, the cycle counter device is accused of approximately 20º. the day of each month is necessary to carry out preventive maintenance and, finally, the implementation of the preventive maintenance model saves more than 300 min / month of maintenance time.
