    In the company of industrial pole in Manaus, Beta Ltda (fictitious name) made a study on the failure modes in a screwdriver in the electronic sector in order to diagnose problems related to corrective maintenance and maintenance time. And the objective is to compare a corrective maintenance program (current) with the preventive maintenance plan (ideal). The methodology used was divided into four stages, such as what are the study or case factors, with probability of failure, development of a cycle counter device and finally, or a preventive maintenance plan. As the results were given frequency of failure and the most recurrent failure modes, as well as a probability of failure was identified, the ideal period for preventive maintenance, or the number of pre-failure operation cycles and the preventive maintenance plan used previous results. As final considerations elucidated that were verified without correspondence with the results found for probability of real failure, the cycle counter device is accused of approximately 20º. the day of each month is necessary to carry out preventive maintenance and, finally, the implementation of the preventive maintenance model saves more than 300 min / month of maintenance time.

    NR-13 is a standard of the Ministry of Labor and Employment of Brazil and aims to establish minimum requirements for managing the structural integrity of steam boilers, pressure vessels and their interconnecting pipes in aspects related to installation, inspection, operation and maintenance, aiming at the safety and health of workers. The objective of this work is to apply the NR-13 through a checklist when performing a hydrostatic test in a pressure vessel in the IFAM mechanics laboratory. It is a bibliographical and experimental research, of a qualitative nature. A thorough reading of NR-13 was sought, a list of items to be inspected based on NR-13 was produced and a hydrostatic test was performed with a pressure vessel in the mechanics laboratory, where the importance of integrity was highlighted structure of the vessel, since the rupture of a unit of it causes serious accidents. In addition, this is a professional conduct of the mechanical modality and that fits within Preventive Maintenance.

    The LOTO system is the set of procedures and blocking devices with labels, which can contribute to the reduction of accidents, the protection of employees, the preservation of property and the environment. In this context, the present study aims to elaborate a procedure of energy blocking "LOTO" for preventive maintenance in a vulcanization press in a company in the Industrial District of Manaus. And specifically, identify the energy isolation points of the vulcanization press; make the machine layout, safety check-list, identification plates and LoTo board; and score the safety benefits from the insertion of the LoTo energy blocking procedure in the vulcanization press preventive maintenance process. The research methodology is a descriptive approach in which it will describe the process of creating a LoTo system applied to the handling of a vulcanization press in a company of the Manaus Industrial Pole, considering the energy blocking devices, the layout model and the internal processes for applicability of the Hazardous Energy Control Program. Blocking / signaling refers to work safety procedures that protect workers from potentially dangerous energy while performing maintenance or repair services on machinery or equipment, such as electricity, pneumatics, heat, kinetic energy, gravity, hydraulics, machinery, etc. The development of this study became evident from the need to have safety at work in which, generate penalties and financial disruption for companies. Therefore, the importance of the implementation of a system for the annulment of these accident risks emerged. The LOTO blocking system was implemented in a press, which is an easy-to-handle mechanism that allowed an evaluation of the degree of knowledge of the collaborators about work safety issues.

    Industrial machines and equipment have associated costs not only in procurement, but also in all necessary maintenance activities throughout their life cycle. Due to this fact, it is very important to carry out a study of the behavior of these equipments, to form and to develop maintenance plans to allow the level of reliability, availability and life required. The Maintenance Plan contains the information necessary for guiding preventive maintenance activities. Through a good maintenance plan it is possible to improve the production processes, guaranteeing quality and reliability, besides the reduction of costs, focus of maintenance. For the elaboration of the maintenance plan of the machining machines of the laboratory of IFAM, the following methods of maintenance management were used as: Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Planning and Control of Maintenance (PCM). Conceptualizing itself as the most innovative methods of maintenance management today.

    The air conditioner is now present in many environments, such as homes, offices, hospitals, companies and other facilities, and despite its importance, especially in the comfort it provides, we must consider its conditions of use and the risks that it can bring. Therefore, the design, installation and correct maintenance of the air conditioning system, besides the renovation of the air, can not be neglected in favor of utopian cost savings. This work aims at the elaboration of a Maintenance, Operation and Control Plan – PMOC for the air conditioners of a commercial establishment, located in the city of Manaus, through the analysis and survey of them, thus proposing the adequate maintenance of all the system of air conditioners of the establishment, and obeying the current legislation, especially decree 3.523 / 98 of August 28, 1998, which established the PMOC, and law 13,589 / 2018, which made it compulsory in all buildings of use public and collective in which the capacity of the air conditioning system is equal to or greater than 5 TR's (60,000 BTU / h). As a result of the general objective, the specific objectives were: to carry out an inventory of the air conditioners of the establishment, to characterize the legal and professional actions necessary to prepare the PMOC, to elaborate and execute the PMOC, and to calculate and specify equipment for the renovation of ambient air. Aiming at improving air quality inside the air - conditioned environment, in addition to preserving equipment, reducing energy costs and minimizing the likelihood of failures in the entire air conditioner system, it is also a preventive maintenance. In this sense, the work starts with a bibliographical review of the theme, continues to describe the norms, laws and decrees that will be used as basis in the maintenance plan, the knowledge about PMOC, and concludes with the presentation and application of the PMOC prepared for the establish and specify equipment for the renewal of ambient air
