The work starts with the introduction of basic concepts about photovoltaic generation and elements that make up a photovoltaic system. The residence's electricity bill is analyzed, and a technical evaluation of the available locations for the installation of photovoltaic modules is carried out, as well as local data such as solar irradiation found through a web tool and project consideration criteria. Then, the models of the commercial equipment that make up the photovoltaic generation system are chosen, and the system is budgeted. With the aid of computational tools, financial indicators such as net present value, internal rate of return, and payback are found.
