Sports considered extreme are differentiated by containing a high risk and adventure. These risks can be low or even risks considered very high. Skydiving, for example, is considered a high-risk sport that is susceptible to interference from weather conditions. Skydiving is a sport that promotes sensations of pleasure as is the case with skydiving. Therefore, this project intends to contribute, through a device, to a better analysis and interpretation of climate changes that occur during the practice of skydiving, before and during the jump. Then, the construction of a control device through the Arduino platform was carried out, integrated to the internet in real time to obtain data and weather conditions. For bibliographic search purposes, the Google Scholar tracker and the electronic addresses of the Brazilian Parachuting Confederation (CBPq) were used as a tool, to complement this work with more information. Based on research and studies carried out, it was found that currently there is no rule or devices used in skydiving schools to help skydiving athletes to recognize the best conditions for jumping. It is pertinent to emphasize the lack of studies and the difficulty encountered in carrying out experimental research within skydiving. Finally, it can be said that a greater participation of professionals in the areas of technology is necessary, aiming at the development and growth of the sport.

This work aims to propose the development of a home automation system using the Arduino platform applied for lighting and irrigation of two points of a small garden. For this work, a bibliographic research was carried out on the subject of home automation with Arduino and on some of the main possibilities of sensor, actuator and communication modules for this use, after deepening the study and analysis, the two agents were proposed. In the next step, the components and the input and output modules were defined. For the automation of lighting via Bluetooth, a specific application was chosen, and then the programming code was developed for each situation. And for the demonstration of the system, a prototype was developed on a reduced scale and a floor plan for the location of the components in the residence was defined. The tests performed presented the expected result according to the program. It is concluded that the Arduino and its modules emerge as a simple, versatile and low-cost alternative for punctual home automation.

Robotics is a study science that encompasses several types of processes to provoke the ability of a robot to execute a set of instructions. The teaching of this practice has become quite common in schools, as it influences and works the student's thinking on new trends and influences the same to think logically. Today a robot is able to carry out various activities, from separating items, cleaning your home and even communicating. In this context, schools have tried to adapt to stimulate students with disciplines of logical reasoning, as this requires concentration and strategy to draw a logical sequence to accomplish a task. In view of this scenario, a prototype of a robotic system was developed, composed of an open-source manipulator robot of the robotic arm type, as well as enabling children, young people and adolescents to stimulate the detection and learning of colors, computational thinking and programming logic. The results obtained with the development of the didactic robotic system were satisfactory, since collaboration in the learning of students using the robotic system was proven.

This work aims to develop an automatic remote monitoring device through a fire fighting system, through the interaction between GSM communication and Arduino Platform, enabling the receipt of text messages on a user's mobile phone if they have a fire principle. The system also allows the user to send command to receive information from sensors and to restore the system after controlled fire. Thus, through the study it was possible to present a functional and dynamic solution that enabled the user communication with the mechanism through the telecommunications system.

It is known that teaching physics can be considered difficult due to so many calculations, graphs and numbers. Often, the ability to associate formulas and theoretical content with everyday life does not happen clearly for students. In addition, teaching Computer Programming is also difficult for students, as they often lack the skills to understand the logical steps for solving problems using a computer. Therefore, the objective of the project presented in this article is to facilitate the teaching of Physics through the maker culture, in the do-it-yourself (DIY) process. As a case study to apply the maker culture to the teaching of Physics and Computer Programming, we created a portable meteorological station with Arduino, a low cost free hardware, so that students could relate Thermodynamics to Computer Programming, in this way seeking to improve the way of reasoning and visibility with the help of theoretical Physics, maker culture and everyday life. In the construction of this meteorological station, it was possible to study and visualize the state variables of Thermodynamics using Arduino as a monitoring platform. In our work, we were initially going to perform experiments in person, but we had to apply remote experiments due to the covid-19 pandemic. In this experiment, 20 second-year High School students of a technical course in Electronics participated from a science and technology institution in Brazil. All students were subjected to an initial test regarding concepts of Thermodynamics and Computer Programming, in order to obtain the initial diagnosis of these students. Then, all the students attended an online lesson from the Physics teacher and finally, the students were divided, through a draw, into 2 groups: the group that participated in the remote maker experiments (10 students) and the group that did not participate (10 students). We applied a final test to the whole class, in order to obtain the levels of expertise of the class regarding the concepts of Thermodynamics and Computer Programming. The results obtained, the comparison between the groups that participated and did not participate in the remote maker activities, the report of these remote experiences and the adjustments made to reach the largest possible number of students show the feasibility of the proposal, in addition to reported challenges and future directions.

(2021-05-12) Silva, Carlos Douglas André e; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; Pereira, Micila Sumaria Medeiros; Fernandes, Priscila Silva
Automation exists in our daily lives, not only because of its practicality or status, but also related to the reduction in the consumption of water and energy resources, and the safety and comfort that users bring to users through the use of interconnected environments. Among the various types of automation, we have home automation, which is related to the use of automated processes in homes, apartments and offices, mainly for social welfare and comfort of life, such as air conditioning, lighting and security automation. The present work presents an Arduino-based radar, in which by uniting it with components, several home security projects can be carried out. This research also demonstrates a process of inserting residential security protection, that is, when an intruder is detected, it will show on the graphical interface, in another project the residents of the residence will receive a message on their computer alerting them about problems in housing.
