The destruction of ecosystems, the extinction of species of flora and fauna, pollution of the environment, contamination of the soil and especially of water are serious problems. Environmental issues should be worked on so that students understand the real importance of preserv-ing and conserving the environment and its resources. In addressing these issues using resources that enhance the knowledge transmitted, we improve not only the students' interest and perfor-mance in class, but also their worldview, sparking reflection on environmental problems. One of the alternatives found for the protection of biodiversity, especially in urban areas, was the establishment of protected areas such as Conservation Units (UCs). In some places near the CUs there are schools that can be introduced in education projects, as a form of awareness of the students, generating alternatives so that the science teachers can have educational protocols that guide their educational practice, not having the textbook as the only resource. The objective of this didactic proposal is to assist teachers and students in the teaching of environmental and water subjects in the Natural Sciences course, sensitizing the students about the importance of pre-serving the natural resources of the Parque Municipal Nascentes do Mindu - PMNM. This didactic proposal is based mainly on the water axis and is divided into planning and implementation and the suggested place for the development of the field practice class was the Parque Municipal Nascentes do Mindu - PMNM. We hope that this proposal can help teachers of natural sciences to develop activities that address the themes studied here, improving the teaching-learning process, sensitizing students about the importance of preserving natural resources.
