Item A inclusão das PANC no projeto cozinhas solidárias.(2022-10-10) Lavareda, Sandra Regina Bentes; Aguiar, Janaína de; Silva., Isnândia Andréia Almeidada; Aguiar, Janaina de; Nina, Nailson Celso da SilvaThe alarming growth in the numbers of people who are in conditions of social vulnerability in Brazil has been increasing annually, more than 23.3 million people were included in this situation. Adequate food is a fundamental human right, inherent to the dignity of the human person and indispensable to the realization of the rights enshrined in the Federal Constitution. PANC food is an alternative to solidarity cooking, considering that they are easy to grow plants and can be used in different recipes. Unconventional Food Plants are unusual vegetables, fruits or vegetables in people's daily lives, their consumption is increasing by a small part of the population after many years being replaced by vegetables of greater commercial advantage. Social gastronomy seeks to support projects and promote better management of the food produced so that it reaches people's tables with quality. An example is the inclusion of PANC in basic gastronomy, which aims at economic, sustainability and obtaining a source of income through gastronomy. Many companies have sponsored initiatives in partnership with Cozinhas Solidárias, for the preparation and distribution of healthy and nutritious meals for people in vulnerable situations, causing a positive impact on the communities served by the project. The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas – Campus Zona Leste, understanding the need to contribute to an extremely relevant project, made available: fruits, tubers, leafy vegetables and some unconventional food plants for the preparation of meals to be distributed. The objective of the present work was the popularization of the PANC through the solidarity kitchen. In the preparation of recipes, improving skills in the practice of food handling, such as harvesting, preparing and distributing meals. It is distributed three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. In the West Zone community of Manaus-AM, for about 150 families registered in the project for each representative of the beneficiary families. The project's contribution was a tool in the dissemination of unconventional food plants that belong to Brazilian biodiversity. This work allowed us to experience the importance of solidarity, and how helping others is an act of love, as well as the application of knowledge acquired in the Agroecology undergraduate classroom.Item Os meios de produção da castanha-do-Brasil ( Bertholletia Excelsa Bonpl.) A experiência e os meios de vida dos cooperados da Covema em Manicoré-AM(2022-12-05) Farias, Luiz Matheus Barreto; Aguiar, Janaina; Aguiar, Janaina de; Nina, Nailson Celso da Silva; Araújo, João Soares deThe present study evaluated the effects of the commercialization of Brazil nuts in cooperative members of the Cooperativa Verde de Manicoré (COVEMA), located in the region of the middle Madeira River, Amazonas, in terms of human, social, physical, financial and natural dimensions. The study methodology involved the application of semi-structured questionnaires, which seek to characterize the chest nut trees and analyze their perceptions about the effect of chestnut collection on their family and community life. Fieldwork was carried out in January and February 2017, when 30 people were interviewed. Respondents reported working with other non timber forest products such as açaí, copaíba, Seringa, sorva and tucumã. The sale of nuts contributes more positively to the population's livelihood in its physical and financial dimensions, due to the possibility of generating income that the activity can provide.
