Item Lixo eletrônico nossa responsabilidade: uma oficina pedagógica para cursos técnicos em Informática da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT)(2024-02-07) Oliveira, Fernanda Miranda de; Marques, Jean Dalmo de OliveiraThere are several sources of electronic waste, including homes, companies and governments. This type of solid waste can contain precious metals such as gold, copper and nickel, as well as rare materials such as indium and palladium, and toxic substances such as heavy metals. Many of these materials can be recovered, recycled and reinserted into the production chain to manufacture new products. Inadequate disposal of electronic waste degrades the environment and harms the health of the population, due to the presence of heavy metals in the components of electronic boards, used in the manufacture of computers, cell phones, televisions, batteries, printers, among other electronic devices. . In Brazil, there are specific laws, decrees and resolutions for the management of this solid waste, aiming to mitigate environmental impacts and, consequently, risks to human health. In this context, the need to improve teaching on the topic of electronic waste in the technical computer course of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) becomes evident. The lack of teaching material that helps teachers to address the topic in the classroom, the theoretical and practical limitations of teaching strategies, the lack of knowledge among students and teachers regarding legislation, decrees, resolutions and standards that govern correct waste management electronic waste, as well as the chemical composition of this solid waste, are factors that reinforce this need. Understanding the potential environmental impacts of electronic waste and how to manage it effectively is essential for complete training. This pedagogical workshop aims to be a teaching resource to assist teachers in teaching the topic of electronic waste in EPT technical courses in the IT segment.Item Utilização do gás natural veicular no Brasil(2021-05-21) Silva, Wallace Pereira da; Costa, José Francisco de Caldas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5703032306296974; Costa, José Francisco de Caldas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5703032306296974; Lima, Placido Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0865439005714077; Chagas, Sidney Assis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1705258854443084Currently, several factors stimulate the search for an alternative fuel for motor vehicles. A possible scarcity of oil over the years due to the demand for fuels generated by the constant increase of the vehicle fleet on the streets, the increase in the value of fuels that has been constant in recent months and the concern with the emission of pollutants in the environment, they are important aspects that lead us to search for measures that can minimize these factors. In this scenario, vehicular natural gas emerged as an effective alternative to reduce dependence on oil, in addition to being a less aggressive source to the environment. Therefore, the present work has as main objective to investigate which are the possible uses of vehicular natural gas and its advantages for Brazil. And as specific objectives: to show whether the use of CNG reveals a trend of economic growth for Brazil; report the environmental advantages of using GNV; analyze Brazil's experience in the GNV market. The methodology used in this research consists of a bibliographic search, which uses as a base the work of other authors on the same theme, using the following databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online repository (Scielo), Google Scholar and the website of CAPES journals. According to the results obtained during the research, it was observed that the conversion of vehicles to a CNG-powered engine increases the engine's useful life, as it is a clean and dry fuel due to its more complete burning than other fuels. Being safer, cleaner and less toxic, when compared to others, producing a cleaner and more uniform burning, therefore, it is considered to have little impact on the environment.Item Projeto de um sistema de refrigeração e climatização por adsorção que utiliza o par de trabalho carvão ativado e etanol(2021-04-08) Silva, Francisco Mikael Alves da; Soares, José Josimar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8049341977402653; Soares, José Josimar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8049341977402653; Costa, José Francisco de Caldas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5703032306296974; Rodrigues Filho, João Nery; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3860803328978892This project seeks to carry out the design of an alternative cooling system, where all the components of a laboratory scale prototype of an adsorption cooling system using the activated carbon and ethanol working pair will be dimensioned. The proposed system uses the principle of a four-motor engine to replace the compressor used in conventional air conditioning equipment by steam compression. Therefore, its operation does not depend on electrical energy, as it uses solar energy and uses refrigerant with low environmental impact. In the search for better performance, a new reactor will be designed, by increasing the contact area and reducing the thermal inertia of the reactor. Thus, with the making of this system, it will be possible to obtain a result compatible with the state of the art of models with the same technical characteristics and operating conditions.
