This work aims at a thermodynamic approach of a pre-existing project, contemplating
its inadequacy regarding the high level of carbon dioxide to point out its main causes. The
methodology used for the development of the analyzes boils down ABNT standards, technical
instructions from the equipment manufacturers of the object of evaluation, in view of the
inspection carried out prior to this study. To do so, the types of air conditioning systems
involved in the main affected parts of the system will be considered, in addition to bringing
together the essential topics involved with respect to air renewal in the complex in order to
obtain different observations in relation to the general foundation.
