The wide application of fillet welds, about 80% of all world production, generated the motivation to elaborate the present study on the dimensioning of fillet welds produced by the process of welding to e lectric arc by coated electrode. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the relationship between the resistance and the length of the weld bead, as well as to discuss the behavior of the efficiency and deposition rate of the E6013 and E7018 electrode s as a function of optimum current v alues, as well as to determine t he costs of welding metal using different electrodes. In cases where elevators do not work properly or stop frequently, the success of this ploy can be seriously compromised due to users' fear of getting stuck in the equipment. The present work show the guidelines for the construction of the elevator boxes to minimize or exclude mistakes in the construction stage, which end up harming and even unfeasible the services of installation, bringing expenses and inconvenience for who was hired (works) as well as for the Contractors (manufacturers of lifts). These guidelines will provide for those responsible for the execution of the boxes the information needed to understand the process and procedures to avoid the construction problems that are primarily responsible for the problems faced by the assembly that end up impacting the final delivery of the lift. The data were obtained through surveys, interviews and observation in Manaus works in the most different stages, both pre-installation, assembly and technical assistance. In this way it was possible to confirm the difficulties encountered and how the pre-install the processes impact on the assembly services and the final delivery of the equipment. Nowadays, the compressed air system has become one of the many tools for manufacturing, being applicated in several areas and stages of the manufacturing process, due to its great capacity of diversification. On this job, we intend to approach the characteristcs, stages and main components in order to obtain an outstanding result from the air compressed system performance. A good planning during the installation dimensioning stage will bring positive result for the company as a whole. On this project we have focused on the main line of the air compressed system dimensioning, placing the machines according to the layout proposed by the board of directors of a small company. All the researches from this work were based on bibliography research, articles and so on and forth and also through field observation and data collect in the referred company. All these factors contribute to different effects on the surface quality of a machining process, there are several ways to quantify and qualify these different changes that will also be explained in the theoretical study. The equipment and the history of evolution turning process help to understand how it was allowing the control of these data and studies of the same for improvement of production processes, and they were becoming more demanding and the final customer. The normalization of machining were also suiting the requirements of industries. This paper analyzes the roughness of machined surfaces in the cylindrical turning, conducting a study on the parameters: Cutting speed (Vc), forward (Fn) and mainly analyzing the influence of tip radius on the final quality measuring that data and putting in graphics for best viewing insert which applies the best view of the finishing process. In order to carry out a study of the results, the present work proposes a comparative analysis of bodies of equal thickness of 1/4 ", with posterior tensile testing and analysis of the results by stress strain diagrams. In order to improve the knowledge about the work, is made the bibliographic review study with the main topics related to the study, for example, symbologies used in the welding, welding equipment used in industry, coated electrode concept, as well as its specifications of use, safety standards that are used, the sample body model and the type of test used. The steel used in the study has a low carbon content, on average 0.2%, and is composed of manganese, phosphorus.For the preparation of the test specimens, the plasma cutting process was used due to its ease and simplicity of use. The welding process chosen was the electrode coating with direct current from ESAB MOD OrigoTM ARC 406 machine. In this sense, the present study had the concern of carefully observing the reliability tests of a certain Company of the Industrial Pole of Manaus in order to ensure that such products - conventional Split Hi wall and inverter of 12,000 btus - reach the end consumer with quality, fully functioning, inherent in a durable consumer good. For this, 15 samples of each model were evaluated, in the visual aspects - internal and external -, electrical, mechanical and functional. Performance tests were performed in the laboratory in order to evaluate if the newly manufactured products were within the required parameters. Finally, the results were satisfactory, demonstrating that of the evaluated sample only one product was defective. At the same time, in the post-sale analysis, the results were also below the limit considered adequate which is a maximum of 0.9, SCR (Service Call Rate) goal stipulated by the company, thus demonstrating that the defect index is incipient. However, because it is a machine that treats the air in a closed environment, if it is not properly maintained, it can negatively affect the users' health, causing illnesses or worsening the clinical condition of people with preexisting diseases and even taking To death. To avoid such problems, the Ministerial Order No. 3,523/98 was regulated by the Ministry of Health, which establishes rules and procedures to be practiced in collective settings. The city of Manaus has a hot and humid climate, where the use of air conditioning is undoubtedly necessary, so the UFAM TV building located in the urban area of the city requires air conditioning machines for its operation. This study seeks to present the PMOC required to the system of air conditioning of such a building so that it meets the current legislation. For this, an inventory of the air conditioning machines installed in the building was carried out to obtain information relevant to the installed project. Visual inspections were performed at the facility to detect possible problems. Finally, as a result, the PMOC was presented and could be implemented, in accordance with current regulations. We know that inspections, in most cases, are performed manually, and the human factor, however well-trained and knowledgeable for make this activity, reduces the reliability of inspection visual results. Therefore, it is necessary to apply auxiliary statistical tools in the detection of defects, to guarantee the reliability of the inspection. First, a review of the literature on welding and applications was made. The following was a survey of the main defects inherent in fusion welding processes. It begins with the concepts and definitions of thermodynamics, then the concepts of the zero law of thermodynamics are explained. The first law, with details coming from its formula as the variation of internal energy, work and its applications. The conditions of the second law began. We presented the ideas of reversibility and reversibility of a system showing the thoughts of Sadi Carnot for the construction of his perfect machine and the maximum yield that it could achieve. To obtain an improvement in properties, it is used in the form of an alloy. Aluminum alloys aim to improve their properties and are formed with the addition of other materials, the so-called alloying elements. The alloy used in this work is the 6061, an alloy that has as main alloying elements silicon and magnesium and the mechanical property to be improved is its hardness. The main way to increase the hardness of an aluminum alloy is called precipitation hardening, a process that is divided into three stages: solubilization, quenching and aging (which can occur naturally or artificially). The theme is in the area of elevators / automation, considering the technological advances in the part of drives, control, signaling and power. The objective of this work is the construction of a prototype of load elevator for didactic purposes using an embedded circuit board to execute the logical part of programming of the movement of rise and decide of the elevator when requested in the respective floors. For the accomplishment of the work, a methodology of applied research nature was adopted, according to Cervo, Bervian and Silva (2007). Initially there was a discussion about Electric Elevators, having as subsidy Brazilian technical norms and bibliographies. Blum Jeremy, 2016, explicitly explains the method of programming an arduino in a very basic way to more complex projects, Dal Monte, 2000, led us to think as in the beginnings of the creation of the first designs of lifting machines developed by the Egyptians to the most modern already developed by men and NBR 5666 guided us in the norms that govern passenger lifts in Brazil, all these works, corroborated in the idealization and creation of the prototype. It was used the aluminum welding metallurgy studies of Kou (2003) and Mathers (2002). The general objective of this work is to raise the interferences of the TIG welding in an aluminum alloy of the series 6000 (Mg-Si), in respect of mechanical strength by mechanical tests of hardness and traction. The tensile test was performed on a butt joint of the aluminum alloy welded in the TIG process and also the hardness profile and macrografy in the heated affected zone and fusion zone. The results of the base metal were compared with those of the welded joint with the following conditions: Bar A as welded and Bar B welded and heated treated with T6. Finally, the analysis of the losses and gains in percentages. The results showed through the macrography that the welding was successful, and it was not possible to verify any typical weld defect. In the mechanical tests the welded sample had a reduction of about 50% in tensile strength and hardness of HAZ, keeping FZ without much loss of hardness in relation to BM. The samples that were treated with T6 artificial aging had a reduction of a little less than 35% in the tensile strength and completely recovered their hardness in the HAZ, but had a reduction of almost 50% of hardness in the FZ, making the material unable of deforming plastically and hence making to this zone of brittleness, which can be verified with the strain-strain graph and the elongation which was only 5%. This condition is a factor impeding the intellectual development of teaching and extension institutions. In view of this problem, the opportunity arises to study the makerspaces, seeking to understand their characteristics and advantages of application to teaching. This work will present concepts of the maker culture and the makerspaces, also showing the period that preceded the emergence of this movement and the philosophies on which these concepts are based. Makerspaces are digital manufacturing labs that have a variety of equipment to support students who want to develop some academic activity. These devices offer students an extensive range of application possibilities. A comparison will be made of digital manufacturing, custom production, versus traditional manufacturing, production in large quantities, illustrating the advantages and disadvantages of each manufacturing model. Finally, the possible applications of the makerspace in education and the methodologies and concepts of education that are derived from the principles of the movement maker will be exposed. All that was exposed was developed based on bibliographical revisions, where the results found allow to apply these concepts to our reality and serve as a model for further studies on the subject. Secondary objectives include presenting the functions of the welding simulator, investigating the costs for the adoption of the welding simulator and presenting the advantages of using the simulator in a training environment. There are different processes of welding among them the one of electric arc welding uses intense heat concentrating that quickly takes the material of filling to melting point so it’s deposited on the gap between the pieces which are welded after due cooling. Virtual arc welding simulators are educational tools designed to complement and improve weld joint trainings. However, what are the advantages that these computer-based systems present in relation to training with traditional equipment? This question guides our research that aims to investigate and analyze the advantages of the use of this equipment for the training of professionals qualified and qualified to carry out the process of joining by welding. The methodology defined, in order to check the results of the research, adopts the field study with a bibliographical survey in printed and virtual sources, with data collection performed in books and websites related to the welding junction process and welding simulator training. The field research was completed with a visit to a welding training laboratory and interview with an instructor who already conducts training with the simulator. The phases of this study are defined in the concept of joint by welding; to introduce the characteristics of the welding simulator in the welding process training as an alternative to raise levels of cost benefits in the training and improvement courses. The welding joint training process presents raw material costs and produces gases that can be harmful to the instructor, the student and the environment. As an alternative to soften these causes, there are several models of welding simulators for training to welding operators. Such equipment uses virtual reality and simulation to provide an environment that is as close to reality as possible. The study is relevant as it addresses solutions for professional training improvements and a positive increase in cost-effectiveness beyond concern with the operator and the environment. Thus, it discusses the welding processes and the advantages in adopting a welding simulator for electric arc welding training offering information that can increase the technological development of the productive and industrial sectors.
