This Final Course Work is entitled: As an environmental education practice in elementary school II, it aimed to contribute to the preservation and appreciation of Amazonian plants through the development of teaching practices that promote knowledge about planting and cultivation, and the importance of regional species. The research followed a qualitative approach, of the action research type, structured from a didactic sequence based on three pedagogical moments. The activities were developed with 6th grade students from the Elisa Bessa Freire Full-Time School, located in Manaus (AM). The proposal included moments such as the presentation of the theme, the recognition of plant species, the planting of seedlings in the school's outdoor area and the production of an illustrated report. The results showed that the students understood the importance of plants for the ecosystem, developed their knowledge on the subject, demonstrated interest and involvement during the activities. The experience highlighted the potential of plant cultivation and management as an educational tool for the development of environmental education in the school context.

The present research was developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Inclusive Education (PROFEI) of the Federal Institute of Education, Science andTechnology of Amazonas (IFAM), inserted in the Research Line of Technological Innovation and Assistive Technology. The study addressed the intersection between Environmental Education (EE) and Inclusive Education, investigating the challenge of engaging High School students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in sustainability themes, starting from the finding of a scarcity of accessible digital pedagogical resources for this audience. The general objective was to develop and evaluate an educational digital game, conceived as Assistive Technology (AT), aiming to promote the learning and participation of students with ASD. Methodologically, qualitative action research was adopted, structured in the phases of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The procedures involved the development of the game "Guardiões TEAmazônicos" on the Scratch platform, grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and an iterative design informed by interviews with guardians and cycles of evaluation of student interaction. The data were submitted to Content Analysis. The results evidenced that the game acted as a disruptive resource, allowing the overcoming of "mechanical copying" and favoring sensory regulation through a controlled environment. It was observed not only the appropriation of environmental concepts contextualized in the Amazonian reality but also a significant social gain, in which the participating students assumed protagonism and interacted with their peers. It is concluded that the educational product was validated as a successful AT, demonstrating the viability of using personalized digital games as a strategy to foster inclusion, autonomy, and environmental citizenship in High School.

Teaching science is one of the missions of graduates and undergraduates of degrees in Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The dynamics of this process takes place in the form of constant differentiated activities that guarantee teaching process regarding the elements that compose and maintain nature. Among them we mention the vegetables that make up the Plantae kingdom. Thus, the current work had the general objective of providing information on the teaching of plants and ecosystems, contributing to the training of undergraduate students. The work is an analysis of the specific knowledge that students of Licentiate courses in Chemistry and Physics have about the Plantae Kingdom and its relations with Environmental Education. The methodology consists of a virtual didactic sequence initially focused on research on this topic with students in training in undergraduate courses, followed by an intervention with the use of videos and an assessment of the contents assimilated after the application of the video. Highlighting that in the pandemic process it was not possible to develop face-to-face. The results will demonstrate that the work contributes to the gaining of information regarding botanical knowledge in view of the positive results in the resolution of the final evaluating of the activities.

Manaus' urbanization was marked by igarapé3 -alterating processes, through channeling and embankments, which began in the nineteenth century, as well as through human occupation on its riverbanks, dumping of sewage and garbage. In this context, the following municipal measures of urban solid waste (USW) 4 management were analyzed: cleaning of shores and streams, garbage men of joy, voluntary delivery points, scheduled collection of large objects and dismantling of inappropriate trash cans. The research is explanatory, bibliographic, qualitative and quantitative with a questionnaire application by volunteering. In their textual and visual aspects, the environmental education campaigns presented restrain pollution of water resources, highlight the negative consequences of this action, and also publicize the municipal services mentioned above. In addition, social marketing’s ability to change values and mediate behaviors that lead to environmental education and conscious consumption was verified. Finally, was observed the need for overt, continuous and multimedia environmental social marketing campaigns to combat river pollution in Manaus.

Biology is an essential discipline for understanding ecosystems, as they are changed and how these changes affect the environment, the challenge Biology teaching to develop the ability to think logically and critically, is hardly achieved since the practice of the classroom, the reality found is of a governing teaching, authoritative and surrounded by lack of interest in doing something different from the students as well as teachers, so what we see is only the transmission of knowledge. Non-formal spaces have been constituted as a field for various research in education that seek mainly to understand the relationships between non-formal spaces and formal education in Brazil. Museums, zoos, and others have been studied, in partnership with schools as places conducive to the realization of environmental education projects, and museums and science centers have received the attention of researchers for involvement of the school community capability with the scientific culture. Thus, this study aimed to develop and analyze a practical activity in non-formal space in order to contribute to the formation of environmental citizens. The methodology used was a research-action adaptation based on the basic cycle of research-action that has four stages, plan, implement, describe and evaluate. The survey was conducted with four groups of the 2nd year of high school to technical built a Federal Institute. The results were significant in student learning because the activity has provided a new approach that made it possible to create a closer relationship between the students and the teaching of biology, which intensified the contact between students and nature, awakened environmental awareness and new attitudes towards the environment and the organisms studied in order to develop a sustainable conduct.

The theme addressed here aims to present the development of workshops for the practical teaching of vertical gardens with students of primary school public schools as a bias towards sustainability. In addition, it has been reflecting on the teaching learning process of sciences in the classes surveyed, as well as its disconnection with environmental education established as an opportunity to transform habits and attitudes that affect space, in addition to rethinking the place in which it is inserted. As a result of this work the research was based on sequence four of Zabala (1998), organized in 4 stages, which are: 1) Presentation of the Thematic; 2) Development of the Thematic; 3) Systematization of Knowledge and 4) Socialization of Knowledge. In this sense, it was concerned to adopt methodology in order to connect theory to practice and, on the face of it, the results showed that the workshops presented to the students were effective for their learning, because they showed how important it is to develop a sensitive and conscious behavior with the Nature, optimizing the society / school / environment relationship. It was evidenced in the results how the aspects of the development of workshops contributed to the development of the attitudes required by the education for sustainability, a robust requirement mainly because we inhabit the Amazon region.
