The results of this investigation stem from the implementation of a Didactic Sequence, with a teaching methodology grounded in Raymond Duval's Theory of Semiotic Representation Registers (TSRR), applied to 72 students from two 9th-grade classes of the Colégio Militar da Polícia Militar do Amazonas I (CMPM I), designated as the intervention group. To answer the research question, the learning gain in two tests was compared between the intervention group and the control group, consisting of seventy-eight students from two classes of the same school who received traditional teaching, using Hake's normalized gain. Additionally, the learning evolution within the intervention group was verified throughout the teaching-learning process resulting from the implementation of the TSRR-based methodology. The analysis of the results was conducted using the technique known as content analysis, aiming to examine and interpret the meanings present in the students' responses. The Hake factor demonstrated an average learning gain in the intervention group compared to the control group. Furthermore, the evolution of the intervention group's results between test 1 and test 2 suggests that the TSRR represents a promising methodological path for physics teaching, especially in content that allows for multiple representations. Finally, a Didactic Sequence (DS), developed and reformulated to overcome the learning difficulties identified in both the literature and the learning environment where we implemented its preliminary version, is presented as an educational product.Dissertação Instalações elétricas: uma proposta para ensino da eletrodinâmica no 3º do ensino médio(2019-12-19) Neves, Glauber Siqueira; Aquino, Soraya Farias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4240604515975477; Aquino, Soraya Farias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4240604515975477; Ferracioli, Laércio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7380100778286872; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199In this paper we present a didactic sequence, aiming to teach Electrodynamic concepts to third year high school students, and in particular, those related to the electrical circuits of a residential electrical installation. The activities developed were based on Vygotsky's Socio-Historical theory and the product consists of a guide for the teacher, in which he will find not only the activities of the didactic sequence that we propose for the learning of these concepts, laws and properties, but also suggestions on how to organize classroom activities and how to act as a mediator during such activities. In addition, a model of a residential electrical installation built by the students with the guidance of the teacher with leftover materials is used, used as a facilitating pedagogical tool in the internalization of the concepts. As a data collection mechanism, a Pre and Post Test were used, containing 06 questions each. A qualitative analysis was carried out from the answers to the test questions, generating a test score to assess the individual performance of the students in the class. The proposed resources used contributed to the students' motivation and the promotion of learning some concepts of electrodynamics for the group of students of this State School.Outro Instalações elétricas: uma proposta para ensino da eletrodinâmica no 3º do ensino médio(2019-12-19) Neves, Glauber Siqueira; Aquino, Soraya Farias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4240604515975477; Aquino, Soraya Farias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4240604515975477; Ferracioli, Laércio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7380100778286872; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; http://repositorio.ifam.edu.br/jspui/handle/4321/642Outro Modelando circuitos elétricos simples através do software Ni Multisim(2025-06-02) Rezende, Nelson de Oliveira; Campos, José GalúcioDissertação Modelando o ensino de balística por meio do pensamento computacional(2022-09-06) Correa, Thomás Silva; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Sousa, José Ricardo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3871066069541626; Costa, Felipe Denardin; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7171227119525859; Rivera, José Anglada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Amazonas, Márcio Andrei Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0822367858729601This dissertation presents the results of a pedagogical intervention mediated by a didactic sequence aimed at teaching ballistics modeled by computational thinking. As a didactic resource, we used the free software PhET whose aim was to favor the concretion of Physics objects. The didactic sequence took into account educational problems obtained in loco. Such learning problems were determined after exploratory research, namely: mathematical difficulties, motivation/interest to learn Physics and the absence of practical classes. All the empirical research and the educational product application was carried out in times of the Covid-19 pandemic, through the remote teaching model. Anyway, as a product, we present a didactic sequence that is malleable, and can be transposed to any curricular subject inherent to Physics. However, even with this difficulty, after applying the product, there was an improvement in the students' performance in relation to the subject.Dissertação Modelando o ensino de circuitos elétricos simples à luz da teoria de registros de representação semiótica de Raymond Duval(2025-06-02) Rezende, Nelson de Oliveira; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Campos, Jose Galucio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Amazonas , Márcio Andrei Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0822367858729601; Silva, Cirlande Cabral da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3405754239635541With a normative character, on December 20, 2017, the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) was enacted, with the main objective of providing public and private education networks and institutions with a minimum curriculum that every student should know by the end of basic education. In addition to these and other curricular changes, the base also brought another set of pedagogical proposals to be innovative by teachers in the classroom. One of these changes involves technological transformations. We therefore observe that the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT’s) in education has become an emerging theme. Given this macro scenario, this led us to ask the following question: Is it possible to understand the concepts necessary for building simple electrical circuits using computer simulations as a tool, relating them to real electrical circuits, through a didactic sequence implemented from the perspective of Raymond Duval's Theory of Semiotic Representation Registers? This study aimed to answer this question by developing and applying a structured teaching sequence based on the progression of semiotic registers applied to the construction of simple electrical circuits using the NI Multisim software environment. In this study, we employed a collaborative teaching strategy based on the use of different registers of semiotic representations, mobilizing them and verifying whether the gaps between registers of representations of the same object influenced a better understanding of essential concepts for the construction of these circuits. We highlighted the importance of coordinating the different types of languages present in the teaching of Physics, be it symbolic, algebraic, oral or written, demonstrating the relationships involved and their emotions. This led us to conclude that the teaching of Physics, be it through expository classes, experiments, computational models, active methodologies, etc., should be developed based on the evolution of these registers.Dissertação O modelo da sala de aula invertida para a aprendizagem conceitual em termodinâmica básica(2022-12-05) Pacheco, Janaina Bezerra; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Padilha, Igor Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4605895860650284; Costa, Felipe DenardinThe present work presents a study whose object is the teaching and learning processes about conceptual learning in basic thermodynamics; temperature, heat and change of state. The research subjects were 2nd year high school students from a full-time public school in the city of Parintins. This work aimed to develop a booklet on the subject in question using the model of the inverted classroom, the SAI. The research methodology had a qualitative approach, since the students' responses were investigated in the pre-test, during the experimental activities in the classroom, in the transcripts of student reports and in the post-test. A bibliographic review was carried out on conceptual learning, the scientific concept as a notorious learning difficulty in physics, and the model of the Inverted Classroom (IS). We designed the educational product in the form of a booklet to help the teacher with regard to learning the basic concepts of thermodynamics. As a result, we found evidence that there was conceptual learning of the highlighted subjects. It is noteworthy that the entire development of this work, as well as the implementation of the methodological steps took place in the full context of the Covid-19 pandemic.Dissertação Uma proposta de sequência didática para o ensino de cinemática utilizando experimentos(2021-09-28) Simas, Aristeu Pereira; Silva, Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Silva, Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Pacobahyba, Josefa Teixeira de Mendonça; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0521315770932665; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199The present work is about the report of the production and elaboration of a didactic sequence to be applied in the 9◦ year of elementary school II. A didactic sequence is a set of ordered, structured activities aimed at achieving an educational objective, that is, student learning. In this sequence, we deal with the teaching of kinematics, which is an area of Physics that studies the movements of bodies without caring about the cause of the movement, from the initial part to relative movement. To trigger our proposal, we based this didactic sequence on Lev Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory, as this theory emphasizes the interaction between people in development and the culture where they are inserted. It is important to point out that in this didactic sequence, we emphasize the study of Kinematics using experiments, as they provide advantages when used in the classroom, such as the motivation caused in the student by seeing something different in the classroom and there is a greater student interest in the use of experiments.Outro Uma proposta de sequência didática para o ensino de cinemática utilizando experimentos(2021-09-28) Simas, Aristeu Pereira; Silva, Marcio Gomes da; Silva, Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Silva, Marcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Pacobahyba, osefa Teixeira de Mendonça; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0521315770932665; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; http://repositorio.ifam.edu.br/jspui/handle/4321/719Outro TRRS, um ajustepsicológico eficaz para a aprendizagem do MRU e MRUV: uma jornada com a teoria de Duval, da construção dos registros de representação à descoberta de suas unidades significantes(2025-04-25) Bata, Ismael Freire; Campos, José GalúcioThis educational product consists of a didactic sequence applied to 9th-grade students in the state public school system of Amazonas. The sequence is the result of the dissertation entitled "The Teaching of Uniform and Uniformly Varied Motion under Duval's Semiotic Perspective," which aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Theory of Semiotic Representation Registers (TSRR) as a psychological adjustment for the occurrence of learning kinematic concepts for 9th-grade students in Elementary School II. This didactic sequence seeks to promote the learning of the description in native language, algebraic language, and graphical language of Uniform Rectilinear Motion (URM) and Uniformly Varied Rectilinear Motion (UVRM) through the TSRR. Furthermore, it offers a proposal for assessing learning through tests composed of discursive and objective items. The proposed learning objectives are based on Bloom's Taxonomy and consider Hattie's definition of visible learning to make students active participants throughout the learning process. The sequence is aligned with the National Common Core Curriculum so that it can be applied to both the 9th grade of Elementary School II and the 1st year of high school. It presents a teaching methodology constructed based on the TSRR, organized into two thematic units that should be applied over a minimum of eight 45-minute lessons. All lessons are described in detail to facilitate their reapplication in real learning environments distinct from the one in which it was developed.
