Item Estudo da influência do lítio na síntese de titanato de sódio como uma alternativa para baterias de estado sólido(2025-01-04) Souza, Handerson Cunha de; Moura, David da Silva; Oliveira Neto, Benjamin Batista deThe growing demand for new energy sources has been a stimulus for extensive research in the area of materials, especially in high-performance solid-state batteries. Recently, sodium trititanate (Na2Ti3O7), an inorganic chemical compound, has received attention due to its effectiveness in ion exchange and catalytic properties. However, its application as an electrolyte in solid-state batteries is limited due to its low electrical conductivity. To overcome this limitation, lithium-doped Na2Ti3O7 nanoparticles were synthesized in different proportions, ranging from 0% to 5% by mass, using the microwave-assisted hydrothermal method. Samples were extensively characterized by XRD, 0%, 1% and 5% samples were also analyzed by DTA, Raman spectroscopy and complex impedance spectroscopy. Notably, the 5% lithium doped sample exhibited an electrical resistance approximately one order of magnitude lower than the undoped material. These promising results highlight the potential of doped sodium titanate as a viable component for high-performance solidstate batteries due to its enhanced structural and conductive properties.Item Padronização do planejamento e controle de manutenção através do pilar de manutenção profissional pertencente a metodologia WCM em uma empresa da linha branca do polo industrial de Manaus - AM(2024-08-22) Pereira, Wander Sousa; Pinto, Camila Costa; Maciel, Paulo Fernando Figueiredo; Fialho, Michaella Socorro Bruce; Oliveira Neto, Benjamim Batista deIn today's globalized scenario, pursuing excellence in maintenance management is crucial for companies to maintain their competitiveness in the international market. With the advent of Industry 4.0, the concept of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) emerges, focusing on waste elimination and continuous improvement in efficiency through technical and managerial pillars. In this context, Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM) plays a crucial role in developing plans and policies to ensure the effectiveness of maintenance processes. This article underscores the importance of PCM as an essential facilitator to achieve and maintain the excellence standards required by WCM through the implementation project of the Professional Maintenance Pillar in a white goods industry located in the industrial hub of Manaus, Brazil. As a result of restructuring efforts, including the establishment of indicators, improved data control, and enhanced service efficiency, there was a significant reduction in lost products from 39,903 units in 2020 to 20,962 units in 2021, along with a decrease in equipment downtime from 1.63% to 0.73%.Item Projeto conceitual de um tachão sinalizador para tubulações de gás em áreas urbanas(2024-12-09) Pereira, José Carlos Gomes; Nascimento, David Rychard Pesqueira do; Pessoa, Everton Hipólito; Rosa, Roberto Canedo; Fialho, Michaella Socorro BruceItem Projeto de uma máquina alimentadora de tarugos(2022-08-20) Costa, Eduardo de Souza; Maciel, Paulo Fernando Figueiredo; Fialho, Michaella Socorro BruceThis work presents the development of a project for an Automatic Aluminum Billet Feeding Machine, designed to meet the demands of the aluminum profile extrusion industry. The objective is to provide an automated and reliable solution for the supply of aluminum billets, aiming to improve the productivity and competitiveness of companies in the sector in a sustainable manner. The methodology is divided into three main stages: mechanical design, electrical design, and ladder programming. In the mechanical design phase, the physical elements of the machine are dimensioned, ensuring its robustness and operational efficiency. In the electrical design phase, the necessary electrical components are dimensioned and selected, taking into account safety standards and performance requirements. Finally, in the ladder programming phase, the machine control software is developed, responsible for coordinating its operations. The described methods enable the design of a machine capable of meeting the project requirements efficiently and sustainably.Item Energy and exergy analysis of a adsorption chiller(2019-10-20) Soares, José Josimar; Gomes, Joseh Emmanuel de Sousa; Gurgel, José Maurício Alves de Matos; Melo, Francisco José AraújoThis paper shows the energy and exergy analysis of a two-bed adsorption chiller. The system was developed at LES/CEAR/UFPB, and constitutes of two adsorption reactors, a condenser and an evaporator, which function independently. Cycle times and secondary flow switching control scheduling is performed using a LabVIEW® interface that allows automatically secondary flow control through the cycle management system (SGC). The experimental tests were performed with the silica gel / water adsorptive pair. The specific cooling capacity (SCP) and coefficient of performance (COP) of the two-reactor chiller were 81.4 W kg-1 and 0.52 respectively, with an exergetic efficiency of 8.2% for the best working conditions, represented by the triplet 72/30/15 ℃ and a cycle time of 35 min. The results reached the levels of recent publications of literature describing models with the same characteristics. The maximum temperature required for the operation of this system is compatible with the use of low-temperature industrial thermal waste and flat type solar collectors, which may allow its production on a commercial scale.Item Fibras de poli (caprolactona) obtidas por eletrofiação contendo ácido gálico(2019-10-27) Pessoa, Tainah Vasconcelos; Segundo, João de Deus P. de M.; Moraes, Maria Oneide S. de; Brito, Walter R.; Almeida, Rosemeire S.; D'Ávila, Marcos A.; Silva, Rudyere N.Poly (ε-caprolactone) (PCL) is a polymer of the class of aliphatic polyesters very important for medical application. Gallic acid (GA) is found in many types of plants. This substance is a natural polyphenol, and its derivatives are compounds of great interest in the pharmaceutical industry. The applications of PCL fibers obtained by electrospinning have been frequently reported in the literature. In the present work, PCL membranes incorporated with GA were produced. The membranes received morphological characterization by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Statistical study of the measurements of the fiber diameters that were obtained manually in the ImageJ image analyzer software (free version). The influence of GA concentrations (0.4, 0.7, 1, 5 and 10% wt) on the final characteristics of the fibers produced was evaluated. For AG concentrations of 0.4; 0.7; 1 and 5 wt% it was possible to produce PCL / AG membranes. It was not possible to produce membranes with a concentration of 10wt% due to AG precipitation in the PCL solution. The concentration of 0.4 wt% and 0.7 wt% GA is most suitable for incorporation of the drug into PCL fibers. PCL with AG membranes successfully developed are promising for medical application.
