The research evaluated criteria such as ease of application, durability, cost, and environmental impact, considering a realistic scenario involving a 263.07 m2 area. The results showed that liquid rubber offers greater practicality and cost-effectiveness, being approximately 32% cheaper than asphalt membranes. However, asphalt membranes exhibited greater durability, estimated between 15 and 20 years, compared to 10 to 15 years for liquid rubber. Regarding environmental impact, both materials present challenges, such as low biodegradability and risks associated with improper disposal, requiring responsible practices to mitigate negative effects. This study contributes to more informed decisions in the construction sector, highlighting the benefits and limitations of each material for different project contexts.Item Estudo de caso de um projeto elétrico residencial de baixa tensão(2025-01-27) Xavier, João Pedro Rodrigues; Santos, Luiz Eduardo Mateus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5752567774043165; Santos, Luiz Eduardo Mateus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5752567774043165; Takeno, Litiko Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7119868373955176; Taveita, Alberto Fábio da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9514824896688750This graduation thesis (TCC) presents a case study of a low voltage residential electrical project, aiming to identify the project's compliances and non-compliances with the current regulatory standards, specifically NBR 5410:2004. At Condomínio Quintas de São José do Rio Negro, in Manaus, local weather conditions, such as intense rain and high temperatures, made this decision even more relevant. A comparative analysis between interlocking paver and asphalt revealed advantages and advantages of both materials. The interlocking paver stood out for its appearance, aesthetic appeal, high resistance and ability to move through the block joints, reducing the impact of rain on the drainage system. Asphalt showed greater capacity for intense traffic but presented higher maintenance costs and lower environmental sustainability. In tropical regions, interlocking pavement performed better against rain and heat, while asphalt suffered greater wear, increasing costs and damaging its useful life. From an environmental point of view, the paver contributed to recharging groundwater and minimizing flooding, while asphalt, derived from petroleum, generated a greater environmental impact. Economically, although paving has a higher initial cost, its durability and lower maintenance requirements make it more advantageous in the long term. Asphalt, despite being more accessible initially, required occasional interventions, increasing costs over time. It is concluded that the interlocking paver is the ideal solution to meet the needs of the condominium, offering a balance between technical, economic and environmental aspects.Item Análise de manifestações patológicas em unidades de saúde de Manaus, seus impactos, correções e profilaxia(2025-01-28) Silva, Vitor Angelo da Costa; Vieira, Paulo Cezar Corrêa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9365262483938738; Vieira, Paulo Cezar Corrêa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9365262483938738; Jussara Socorro Cury , Maciel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7127472548844722; Silva, Felipe Wilson Leão da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0194896119954468A well-designed and well-executed project plays an extremely important role in obtaining a satisfactory result. Without this, a construction can suffer from the appearance of pathological manifestations that compromise quality and aesthetics, and can also, depending on the severity, put it at risk. the occupants of the building. With this aspect in mind, this work addressed relevant issues about the pathologies analyzed in situ, highlighting the diagnostic and prophylaxis measures for the problem, thus taking due care at each construction stage, which are essential to avoid future problems in the structure that could affect its safety and durability, in addition to preventing costs due to these numerous failures, as these manifestations are increasingly frequent in our current society, which leads to the search to understand the subject in order to guarantee the longevity of the construction, greatly increasing its useful life, in addition to minimizing the negative impacts that may arise from the time. This study aims to contribute to the improvement of construction processes, focusing on the application of prophylaxis in civil construction, highlighting it as a set of preventive practices essential to ensure the safety, durability and functionality of buildings. In addition, the present work also analyzed relevant issues of defects and damages analyzed in situ in state health units, using diagnostic measures and seeking prophylaxis measures to avoid the problems encountered, always keeping in mind the main objective of investigating, classifying and resolving the problem. problem in itself, in addition to showing mechanisms that will be necessary to avoid them, thus emphasizing the importance of implementing preventive maintenance and continuous monitoring as essential strategies to preserve the quality of buildings and avoid structural failures over time. Immediate correction of identified problems is also discussed as a crucial measure to prevent accelerated deterioration and ensure longevity and functionality. Finally, the study explores the historical evolution of these practices, highlighting their relevance in each phase of the construction process, from initial planning to the execution of finishes. At each stage, elements such as risk analysis and management, careful selection of materials, strict compliance with current technical standards and specialized training for teams involved are examined. Therefore, the final objective of this work is to exemplify the main pathologies found in foundations and identify their causes and solutions.Item Análise técnica e ambiental do igarapé do Mindu no bairro Novo Aleixo, Manaus-AM(2025-01-29) Ramos, Antônio Gabriel Santos de; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120This work presents a technical and environmental analysis of Igarapé do Mindu, focusing on the region of the Novo Aleixo neighborhood, in Manaus-AM. Thus, seeking alternatives to replace steel is of paramount importance to mitigate carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Bamboo, being a renewable material, abundant in nature, and with a high rate of growth and propagation, presents itself as an excellent option, including for CO2 capture from the atmosphere. However, its greatest challenge is its adhesion to cement and its preservation against insect and fungus attacks. This research aims to evaluate the adhesion resistance between cement mortar and bamboo treated with borax using the hot water and cold water method. For this, species collection, treatment, drying, and adhesion tensile strength tests of bamboo to concrete were carried out. The treatment did not show bamboo decay within the concrete after 28 days immersed in water during the concrete curing process, and the pull-out resistance of the splints from the concrete showed results that enable its use with concrete, with average values for bamboo adhesion stress of 1.72 MPa, with the proposed preservative treatment.Item Acessibilidade em ambiente escolar: análise da acessibilidade em um Instituto Federal de Educação(2020-09-30) Feliciano, Jamille Araújo; Pereira, Liliane Brito de Melo Amorim; Pereira, Liliane Brito de Melo Amorim; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120; Lima, Inalda Tereza Sales de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4870573853574015This research is an analysis of the physical conditions at Federal Institute of Education (FIE), in order to verify whether the place has accessible routes that meet the Brazilian Standard of ABNT, NBR 9050:2015, this is, it is sought through this study, to evaluate whether the Institute has safe and passable structures for the movement of wheelchair users.
