    This research aims to create a special tool to assist in the assembly and disassembly of the wheel hubs of the C295 aircraft Aiming at an increase in productivity and a reduction in the time used for safe and objective maintenance. When it comes to the mechanics of cargo and troop transport aircraft, specifically, there is a whole sequence of factors that directly influence the availability of the aircraft. This can affect existing demands, such as transportation of supplies to more distant locations, the cause of an aeronautical accident, failure to carry out an aeromedical evacuation (EVAM) or transport of organs, causing the worsening of medical situations, which may lead to the loss of the patient. Given this, this study was carried out with a qualitative and quantitative approach, based on bibliographical and documentary research, nothing the need for safer and faster preventive and/or corrective maintenance. For this, technical manuals were also used, respecting the foreseen limits, avoiding damage and loss of aeronautical materials, contributing to the State’s economy. Upon completion of the research, it is found that the use of the special tool allows for safety and, in a positive way, increases the availability of the C295 aircraft.

    Taking into account the demands and competitiveness of the market to be able to increase efficiency and reduce costs, it is necessary to apply techniques in the management of sectors, especially in the maintenance sector. This work intends to accompany the Implementation of the Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM) functions in a two-wheel hub company in the industrial district. This implementation proposes to approach the concepts of PCM, portraying the system used until then by the sector in order to suggest improvements based on the management of the PCM. The methodology used will then be divided into four stages. The first is based on assessing which maintenance methods are appropriate for the assets present in the company. In the second phase, the specific functions of the PCM are structured, with the registration and classification of assets being carried out in agreement with the sectors of production and quality. In the third stage, maintenance schedules are developed and maintenance sheets are created, in the last stage, maintenance indicators are implemented. The final objective is to obtain a maintenance control structure able to guarantee the availability and reliability of the assets.

    The high productivity of an industrial production line is the desire of all large, medium and small companies. Because if the line operates at its maximum performance, it will deliver a larger quantity of products to the market, within all its quality specifications, lower costs, generating the profit expected by the factory. But, over the years, the equipment on the production line deteriorates, until it reaches a point where it is not possible to deliver the expected demand. With that, this work will present a methodology that seeks to restore the performance of this production line, seeking to identify the problem, treat root causes, solve anomalies, aiming to leave the production line with a high efficiency, minimizing production costs, improving the work environment for the operator, generating profit for the company and meeting consumer needs with quality. Then, from this project, it was possible to elaborate the standard, describing the step-by-step to be followed, so that the proposed objective is achieved, which is to improve the availability of a production line. Where this standard was applied and its efficiency of analysis and problem solving was verified.

    Over time, man has been developing and mastering technologies at different stages of the evolution of science that has allowed various sources of energy to be developed. The northern region of Brazil in particular, the state of Amazonas (AM) has some peculiarities with regard to its regional integration with the rest of the country. Thus, the configuration itself in the midst of the Amazon biome poses a series of challenges for the state in terms of access to electricity. From this context, the present work has as objective: to elaborate a maintenance plan in the energy generating unit and to demonstrate its importance to the stability and reliability of the electrical system. In methodological terms, a qualitative approach was chosen, as it has a greater focus on understanding and explaining the facts, as well as greater familiarity with the object of study. In general, the results showed the importance of maintenance for the continuity of activities, especially in a scenario of logistical difficulties as we are faced with the reality of Amazonas.

    The development of commercial aviation involved new setbacks to maintenance, as it stimulated the creation of preventive forms, since the correction during the flight is hardly feasible. Thus, it is the responsibility of the maintenance to restructure the necessary states of use of the flight equipment. In this context, the objective of this study is to investigate the models of strategic management that can guarantee greater reliability and availability of flight protection equipment in a part of the Amazon region. This research is a bibliographic research, in which the search sources were constituted by the electronic resources of the following databases: Scientific Eletronic Library On-line (SciELO), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences ( LILACS), in addition to periodicals published on the platforms: PubMed, Google Scholar and technical manuals for flight equipment. As achieved results, it can be stated that the strategic management of strategic maintenance presents itself as an important analysis strategy, diagnostic route and solution of existing problems in the airspace control equipment such as radio communication of the VHF-300 system, of the Integrated Center Air Defense and Air Traffic Control (CINDACTA IV) in the Amazon. It is concluded that proper maintenance and scientific knowledge in aviation aid equipment is essential to ensure frequent performance in mid-flight.

    Manutenção do gasoduto Urucu-Coari-Manaus: planejamento e logística

    This research aimed to present the challenges of the logistics required to maintain the Urucu-Coari-Manaus gas pipeline. This was developed to supply the growing need for electric energy in the Amazonian municipalities and has been in operation since 2009, this pipeline connects the municipality of Coari (oil region of Uruca) to the Isaac Sabbá refinery in Manaus. Methodologically, a research is classified, as to the approach in a quali-quantitative research, because there was contact in loco with the studied space in order to obtain more details for the study. In addition, quantitative data is used to exemplify the maintenance process for this terminal. In general, the results induced that many are the challenges encountered since implantation to the present day of operation, transporting as great distances to access the deposits of the Urucu River, facing as endemic, ensuring minimum conditions of comfort, safety, nutrition and meeting the demands of the project, since the circumstances imposed by the peculiar characteristics of the rivers bring complexity to the production. It is in this way that the specific maintenance of this gas pipeline is consolidated, as they are granted as return by land and consolidate a service that guarantees its operationality with safety and confidence requires the technical planning and programming staff to be very careful to deal with lives, with essential supply regional development and a heritage of great added value.
