Dissertação Modelando o ensino de circuitos elétricos simples à luz da teoria de registros de representação semiótica de Raymond Duval(2025-06-02) Rezende, Nelson de Oliveira; Campos, José Galúcio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Campos, Jose Galucio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Amazonas , Márcio Andrei Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0822367858729601; Silva, Cirlande Cabral da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3405754239635541With a normative character, on December 20, 2017, the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) was enacted, with the main objective of providing public and private education networks and institutions with a minimum curriculum that every student should know by the end of basic education. In addition to these and other curricular changes, the base also brought another set of pedagogical proposals to be innovative by teachers in the classroom. One of these changes involves technological transformations. We therefore observe that the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT’s) in education has become an emerging theme. Given this macro scenario, this led us to ask the following question: Is it possible to understand the concepts necessary for building simple electrical circuits using computer simulations as a tool, relating them to real electrical circuits, through a didactic sequence implemented from the perspective of Raymond Duval's Theory of Semiotic Representation Registers? This study aimed to answer this question by developing and applying a structured teaching sequence based on the progression of semiotic registers applied to the construction of simple electrical circuits using the NI Multisim software environment. In this study, we employed a collaborative teaching strategy based on the use of different registers of semiotic representations, mobilizing them and verifying whether the gaps between registers of representations of the same object influenced a better understanding of essential concepts for the construction of these circuits. We highlighted the importance of coordinating the different types of languages present in the teaching of Physics, be it symbolic, algebraic, oral or written, demonstrating the relationships involved and their emotions. This led us to conclude that the teaching of Physics, be it through expository classes, experiments, computational models, active methodologies, etc., should be developed based on the evolution of these registers.Dissertação Física de partículas: uma sequência didática para introdução do modelo padrão nas aulas de física do ensino médio(2024-08-09) Silva, Erdelem Cris Gomes da; Adão Neto, Minos Martins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6102062332483035; Adão Neto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6102062332483035; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6102062332483035; Azevedo, José Roberto Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7115884585420145; Silva, Gabriel de Lima e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2111422586050900This dissertation aim to present the results of the research and implementation of a didactic sequence on the topic of the Standard Model of Particle Physics, based on Lev Vygotsky's learning theory, as also on the perspectives and challenges of teaching physics in the Amazonian context. Then taking into account these challenges inherent in the didactic transposition of such a complex subject, we sought to investigate which kind of approaches and strategies would be most appropriate for introducing and teaching the subject of particle physics in high school classes. This didactic sequence was designed to adapt to the new guidelines and norms established for secondary education by the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC). In terms of teaching strategies, we tried to establish a dialogical approach, focusing on interdisciplinarity, emphasizing the process of building science and contributing to scientific literacy. The results, as well as the application of the educational product, proved to be satisfactory in terms of introducing the Standard Model into the context of physics classes.Dissertação O ensino de tópicos de relatividade restrita: uma sequência didática investigativa utilizando vídeos como ferramenta sociocultural.(2025-03-14) Batista, Kennedy Rufino; Campos, Jose Galucio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Campos, Jose Galucio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0500936753469199; Silva, Cirlande Cabral da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3405754239635541; Adão Neto, Minos Martins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6102062332483035Currently, we are surrounded by various technological conveniences provided by the internet, with easy access to videos of different genres across different platforms being one of them. The current educational context is not only influenced by schools and lessons taught by teachers but also by elements of the digital world, where students socially interact, seek entertainment, and have access to a wide range of information on scientific and fictional topics. Thus, this research sought to investigate the contributions that an Investigative Teaching Sequence (ITS), associated with sociocultural elements such as short video lessons and science outreach videos, can bring to the conceptual learning of topics in Special Relativity in a 3rd-year high school class at a public school in Amazonas. We used Inquiry-Based Science Education as a teaching methodology, based on the works of Ana Maria Pessoa de Carvalho. As a theoretical framework for planning the activities, we considered elements of Vygotsky's sociointeractionist theory, particularly regarding the sociocultural interactions of students with the digital world through videos. To achieve our objective, the research was structured in the following steps: (1) identifying the characteristics that attract students to watch videos; (2) creating a list of videos based on these characteristics; (3) qualitatively classifying the selected videos; (4) developing and applying the ITS; (5) analyzing students' perceptions of the elements present in the research. As a result, we found that the investigative practice integrated Inquiry-Based Learning with sociocultural elements, allowing students, while solving didactic problems related to these elements, to make observations, raise hypotheses, and construct justifications. This approach created an investigative environment that led students through a scientific process, albeit simplified, as proposed by Carvalho (2013). The contributions to learning became evident through the performance of the groups in the investigative activity and the results obtained in the test, which demonstrated the understanding of the Relativity topics covered. Furthermore, students' perceptions indicated that Inquiry-Based Learning, combined with the use of videos as a sociocultural tool, significantly contributed to understanding the main ideas of the topic and to the interaction among participants during the investigative activity.Dissertação Abordando conceitos fundamentais da teoria da relatividade geral no terceiro ano do ensino médio(2024-10-29) Maciel, Arleson Protázio; Rivera, José Anglada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Rivera, José Anglada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Silva, Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Alcaide, Ernesto Govea; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4402159171600013This material aims to address fundamental concepts of the Theory of General Relativity for high school students, and to show the importance of this theory created by physicist Albert Einstein, where it has great relevance in our daily lives and important technological applications. It is worth noting that this theory is rarely cited in textbooks, and we know its importance for the history of Modern Physics. This work aims to show concepts of the Theory of General Relativity and its applications using a didactic tool that makes it possible to explore the Visual, Auditory, Writing/Reading and Synesthetic (VARK) of the student, where it allows the same to understand their learning preference, and thus facilitating the absorption of knowledge. The data collection method was the use of objective and subjective questionnaires, and the analysis of these data was quantitative and qualitative. The main results indicate that by using innovative methodologies, such as VARK, it is possible to approach these concepts of General Relativity in basic education. These results suggest that, in order to didactically transpose concepts of this theory, it is necessary to use pedagogical tools that adapt to the knowledge already obtained by students. This research was a contribution to the teaching of physics in the approach of complex concepts of Modern Physics, providing new perspectives to better work these concepts of Relativity in high school. David Ausubel's Meaningful Learning played a crucial role in the application of this methodology and the theme addressed.Dissertação O ensino da física moderna na relatividade usando o GPS como ferramenta didática(2024-10-30) Souza, Cristian Maria Costa de; Salmon, Dr. Octavio Daniel Rodriguez; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8617565470648034; Salmon, Octavio Daniel Rodriguez; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8617565470648034; Araújo, Ijanílio Gabriel de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5720717332159949; Borges, Denilson da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7149037835888302This dissertation aims to contribute to the teaching of GPS in Modern Physics, through the creation, implementation and evaluation of a didactic sequence based on the Potentially Meaningful Teaching Unit (UEPS), using as a basis the theory of Meaningful Learning by David Ausubel and the model proposed by Marco Antônio Moreira. The research was carried out in four classes, three in the second year and one in the third year of the high school, at the Sérgio Mendonça de Aquino State School, located in the rural area of the village of Novo Remanso, in the municipality of Itacoatiara. The main objective was to awaken students’ interest in understanding how GPS works, a technology so present in everyday life. In order to achieve this objective, various teaching resources were used, such as videos, questionnaires and practical activities, following the steps recommended by the National Professional Master’s Degree in Physics Teaching (MNPEF). Throughout the application of the educational product and the production of this dissertation, many learning moments were found and, as a result, the expected success was achieved. The students’ interest in understanding how GPS works was awakened and they were able to see the applicability of this technology in their daily lives. In this context, Ausubel’s Meaningful Learning approach and the model proposed by Moreira proved to be extremely effective in the teaching and learning process, by promoting the connection of students’ prior knowledge with the content covered and relating this content to everyday situations. The didactic sequence based on meaningful learning allowed a more contextualized and meaningful approach to the topic, favoring students’ understanding and contributing to their engagement in the study of Modern Physics. Based on the results obtained, it is hoped that this work can serve as a reference and inspiration for other educators who wish to teach GPS more effectively, arousing students’ interest and curiosity, as well as promoting more meaningful learning.Dissertação Construção de uma unidade de ensino potencialmente significativa (UEPS) para o estudo das transformações gasosas no novo ensino médio(2024-12-06) Lima, Diego Alvino; Padilha, Igor Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4605895860650284; Padilha, Igor Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4605895860650284; Guilherme, Adriano Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9119402956173089; Borges, Denilson da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7149037835888302The purpose of this work is to build a potentially significant teaching unit (UEPS), through a didactic sequence for teaching gaseous transformations, aimed at basic education students in the public network of the state of Amazonas, included in the life project discipline. of the new high school. The aim is to identify evidence of meaningful and critical learning. From this perspective, problematizing how Physics has been taught in Basic Education to the detriment of everyday practical relationships, the question arises: can these relationships really be inserted and experienced in schools with the aim of obtaining potentially significant learning? What are the difficulties encountered by Basic Education teachers in bringing day-to-day practices into the classroom? How can using a pressure cooker contribute to teaching Physics? With the purpose of adding the school routine to the historical, social and economic daily life, in which we are inserted today, schools, as proposed by the new National Curricular Guidelines for Basic Education and the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education – Law 9,394 /96 – aim to prepare students for the world of work, science and technology. Therefore, we use the pressure cooker, inserted in a didactic sequence, contributing to a problem situation, as it is a fascinating example of how physical principles can be applied in a practical and innovative way in cooking. Its role in accelerating the cooking process, saving energy and preserving food nutrients makes it a valuable tool in the contemporary kitchen. However, it is crucial to understand the underlying physical principles and follow recommended safety practices to fully enjoy the benefits of the pressure cooker. In this way, we worked with proposals for collaborative activities to resolve problem situations, as well as appropriating the theoretical framework of Ausubel's Theory of Meaningful Learning articulated with Moreira's critical meaningful learning.Dissertação Supercondutividade: uma sequência didática para introdução do tema no ensino médio e a percepção dos professores do município de Tabatinga - AM(2024-10-08) Rocha, Reinaldo Carneiro; Silva, Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Silva, Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Fonseca, Thiago Lobo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5010081570733897; Sousa, José Ricardo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3871066069541626Superconductivity is the phenomenon characterized by zero electrical resistance and the expulsion of magnetic fields that occurs in certain materials when they are below a certain temperature. The phenomenon was discovered by the German physicist Heike Kamerlingh Onnes on April 8, 1911, in Leiden. The study of superconductors is an area in constant evolution and discovery. As this is a very current and exciting topic, it is necessary to introduce concepts on the subject. This work aims to create an educational product through a didactic sequence for teaching superconductivity to students in the final years of regular high school. This study also aimed to address and relate the concept of superconductivity to other fundamental concepts of electrodynamics; to apply the concept of superconductivity in the context of Ohm's Law, making them accessible and understandable to students during their lessons; and to arouse students' interest and curiosity in science and physics. The methodology adopted involved qualitative and descriptive bibliographical research, with a review covering various works that address theoretical concepts of superconductivity. Questionnaires containing open and closed questions were used to collect data from the participants, as well as activities and assessments designed to verify learning. David Ausubel's theory of meaningful learning underpins the work. The data collected was subjected to descriptive statistical analysis, showing a positive and decisive knowledge of the concepts of superconductivity and its phenomena. The application of these concepts in an accessible and comprehensive way proved satisfactory, establishing links between the students' previous knowledge and the new concepts. Considering that the implementation of this research through a didactic sequence was satisfactorily accepted by 82% of the students involved in the study, this work contributes to the improvement of Modern Physics teaching, emphasizing the importance of contextualization and practical applicability of concepts in the teaching-learning process.Dissertação Cinemática relativística: construção de uma UEPS para o novo ensino médio por um olhar histórico e com o uso de simuladores(2024-10-22) Castro, Emerson Bruno Oliveira; Sousa, José Ricardo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3871066069541626; Sousa, José Ricardo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3871066069541626; Mota, Deniz dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3632354915141735; Silva , Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054The dissertation investigates the teaching of Relativistic Kinematics in high school, highlighting its historical importance and current relevance, particularly in the context of the New High School Curriculum and the BNCC. The study emphasizes the use of interactive simulations and teaching methods such as Peer Instruction and Formative Assessment to facilitate the understanding of complex concepts like time dilation and length contraction. Vygotsky's theory, which values social interaction and cultural mediation, and Ausubel's theory of meaningful learning, which prioritizes integrating new knowledge with existing concepts, underpin the methodology. The dissertation explores the use of continuous assessments and feedback to adapt teaching to students' individual needs, promoting critical and meaningful learning in the study of Special Relativity and integrating Modern Physics content.Dissertação Teoria da relatividade restrita de Einstein para alunos do ensino médio utilizando filmes de ficção científica como recurso didático(2024-10-08) Mendes, Raimundo Wagner Pereira; Silva, Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Silva, Márcio Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2363782297790054; Rivera, Jose Anglada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Nascimento, Denise Andrade do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3111593924862886The theory o of restricted relativity, developed by physicist Albert Einstein, considers that time and space are intrinsically related. According to the theory of special relativity, at speeds close to that of light, time and space become relative. The purpose of this work is to use a teaching strategy that facilitates the understanding of these concepts through a didactic sequence using entertainment as a facilitating and meaningful action with the presentation of science fiction films, Interstellar (2014) and Planet of the Apes (1968), acclaimed by film critics, which clearly present the foundations of Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity. The educational product was applied to a 2nd grade high school class at a state public school in the city of Manaus-AM. Having Ausubel's significant learning as its theoretical basis, the film was shown in line with the presentation of Einstein's postulates and some concepts from the Special Theory of Relativity so that the confrontation between common sense and the study of science could take place, so that students could achieve realize the importance of building physical knowledge as a significant part of the learning process. The data collected was analyzed qualitatively and, as an educational product, we present a text to support teachers who wish to use films with an investigative approach to teaching scientific concepts.Dissertação A construção de uma UEPS para o ensino do efeito DOPPLER relativístico com elementos contextuais da cosmologia(2023-12-11) Barbosa, Verônica Tavares; Adão Neto, Minos Martins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6102062332483035; Silva, Lúcio Fábio Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8596952901602143; Silva, Lúcio Fábio Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8596952901602143; Santos, José Jamilton Rodrigues dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5465012466654473; Padilha, Igor Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4605895860650284This dissertation discusses the results of the construction and implementation of a Potentially Significant Teaching Unit based on David Ausubel’s Theory of Meaningful Learning. Its intention is to classify itself as potentially significant material for teaching the relativistic Doppler effect with contextual elements of Cosmology to third-year high school students. Thinking about the problems inherent in the didactic transposition of this theme to basic education, we sought to investigate which pedagogical strategies could help students in the construction of meaningful learning. To this end, the UEPS was organized in accordance with the sequence of steps established by Moreira (2011), and incorporated into its structure are digital educational objects and the active Peer Instruction methodology. It is noteworthy that these strategies present themselves as alternatives to streamline expository classes and encourage active and collaborative participation by students. Regarding the characterization of the research, it is bibliographic in nature, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, and its objectives are exploratory-descriptive in nature. The UEPS results were analyzed in light of Bloom’s revised Taxonomy, revealing encouraging signs of acquisition, assimilation and construction of meaningful learning
