And this directly implies improvement work aimed at eliminating waste, increasing profit and maintaining the quality that the market expects. That said, the present work shows that even processes that have been established for a long time can be improved to the point of being on par with current generation equipment. using low-cost resources, already available, and critical analysis of process improvement by those involved. This work describes the improvement in a robotic spot-welding process in which only 3% of the electrode was used, that is, only 0.3 mm of 9mm of the consumables (electrode CT – 309 (bullet). The aim of the improvement is to change the robot's manual adjustment system to an autonomous adjustment system, thus ensuring the conscious use of its consumables. Petri nets were used to model the system and from this, a prototype was proposed using the ladder language and instruction list as programming. At the end, the metrics of the processes before and after optimization are compared. If before we used 3% of the electrode, after the improvement we achieved the result of 67% use of the electrode, that is, we started to use 6mm of the electrode, keeping only the final 3mm as a safety margin with reference to the manufacturer's recommendation.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso Protótipo de sistema cartesiano para transporte de carga em uma indústria do Polo Industrial de Manaus(2024-12-17) Souza, Marcos Paulo dos Santos; Santos, Alyson de Jesus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5998752909180697; Martiniano, Alexandre Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2232239320901259; Veloso, Hugo AlvesThe systems developed for industrial automation have been steadily implemented in industrial hubs across various regions around the world. The project methodology spans from the conception and modeling phase to the construction of a prototype, practical testing, and data analysis. The first stage involved the identification of reusable electronic and mechanical components, such as inkjet printer parts, which were adapted to function as part of the hybrid system. These components, often discarded as electronic waste, were integrated into the system to promote sustainability and reduce waste. The developed prototype included electric motors coupled with generators based on solar and wind energy, as well as an energy storage system to ensure a continuous power supply. Theoretical modeling indicated that the hybrid system has the potential to generate electricity efficiently and stably, even under variable operating conditions. Practical tests confirmed the system's viability, demonstrating its ability to operate consistently and reliably. The reuse of electronic components, such as printer parts, combined with the integration of renewable sources, brings significant environmental and social benefits. The main objective of the system is to enhance the safety and efficiency of electrical installations through real-time supervision. It uses the ESP32 microcontroller, known for its high processing capacity, connectivity, and low cost. Current and voltage sensors are employed to continuously measure the circuits' consumption. If the current exceeds the cable capacity for more than 10 seconds, the system automatically shuts down the circuit and issues an alert, preventing overloads, wiring damage, and fire risks. In addition to protection, the system allows for individual monitoring of energy consumption per circuit, providing a clear view of the electrical panel’s performance. This facilitates the identification of waste and contributes to the efficient management of the installation. The proposal also aims to prevent common failures, such as the improper replacement of circuit breakers and the undue increase of load on circuits, acting as a support tool for preventive maintenance and the modernization of installations.
