Item Análise técnica e ambiental do igarapé do Mindu no bairro Novo Aleixo, Manaus-AM(2025-01-29) Ramos, Antônio Gabriel Santos de; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120This work presents a technical and environmental analysis of Igarapé do Mindu, focusing on the region of the Novo Aleixo neighborhood, in Manaus-AM. The study investigates the impacts of accelerated urbanization, the lack of basic sanitation and inadequate waste disposal practices, which harm water quality, local biodiversity and public health. Through data collection, field analysis and bibliographic review, problems such as pollution, bank erosion and changes in the stream's flora and fauna were identified. The use of the stream for social and economic purposes, such as fishing, updating and basic sanitation, was also evaluated. A survey compared the data collected with previous studies, allowing us to propose technical and environmental solutions for the recovery of the stream, including environmental education actions, sustainable management and integrated urban planning. The recommendations aim to promote the sustainable use of the resource and improve the quality of life of the local community, contributing to the conservation of the ecosystem and socioenvironmental balance in the Amazon region.Item Comparação entre pavimentação com Paver intertravado e asfalto: uma análise aplicada ao condomínio ao condomínio Quintas de São José do Rio Negro, em Manaus(2025-01-27) Santos, Mateus Bandeira dos; Taveira, Alberto Fábio da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9514824896688750; Taveira, Alberto Fábio da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9514824896688750; Santos, Luiz Eduardo Mateus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5752567774043165; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256The choice of paving material is essential in urban projects, influencing durability, cost, aesthetics and environmental impact. At Condomínio Quintas de São José do Rio Negro, in Manaus, local weather conditions, such as intense rain and high temperatures, made this decision even more relevant. A comparative analysis between interlocking paver and asphalt revealed advantages and advantages of both materials. The interlocking paver stood out for its appearance, aesthetic appeal, high resistance and ability to move through the block joints, reducing the impact of rain on the drainage system. Asphalt showed greater capacity for intense traffic but presented higher maintenance costs and lower environmental sustainability. In tropical regions, interlocking pavement performed better against rain and heat, while asphalt suffered greater wear, increasing costs and damaging its useful life. From an environmental point of view, the paver contributed to recharging groundwater and minimizing flooding, while asphalt, derived from petroleum, generated a greater environmental impact. Economically, although paving has a higher initial cost, its durability and lower maintenance requirements make it more advantageous in the long term. Asphalt, despite being more accessible initially, required occasional interventions, increasing costs over time. It is concluded that the interlocking paver is the ideal solution to meet the needs of the condominium, offering a balance between technical, economic and environmental aspects.Item Impermeabilização de lajes: uma comparação entre o uso de manta asfáltica e borracha líquida(2025-01-28) Feijão, Glendda Feitosa; Barros, Laerte Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0299419739606476; Barros, Laerte Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0299419739606476; Silva, Fabio Martins da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2714788689860282; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256This study presents a comparative analysis of two widely used methods for waterproofing slabs: asphalt membranes and liquid rubber. The research evaluated criteria such as ease of application, durability, cost, and environmental impact, considering a realistic scenario involving a 263.07 m2 area. The results showed that liquid rubber offers greater practicality and cost-effectiveness, being approximately 32% cheaper than asphalt membranes. However, asphalt membranes exhibited greater durability, estimated between 15 and 20 years, compared to 10 to 15 years for liquid rubber. Regarding environmental impact, both materials present challenges, such as low biodegradability and risks associated with improper disposal, requiring responsible practices to mitigate negative effects. This study contributes to more informed decisions in the construction sector, highlighting the benefits and limitations of each material for different project contexts.Item Processo de regularização e habite-se de imóvel unifamiliar – um estudo de caso realizado no bairro Cidade Nova I, em Manaus/AM(2025-01-28) Nobre, Jaritsa Maria da Costa; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847This paper aims to describe the process of regularizing and obtaining a occupancy permit for a single-family social housing property located in the Cidade Nova I neighborhood in the city of Manaus, Amazonas. Urban expansion requires strict control by public organizations, making regularization and issuance of a occupancy permit essential for the proper occupation of spaces and the correct execution of works and engineering services. The Cidade Nova neighborhood, located in the northern part of Manaus, was planned in the 1980s during the government of Professor José Bernardino Lindoso, initially to house 15,000 low-income housing units. However, only 1,800 homes were completed in the first phase, inaugurated on April 23, 1981. Since then, the neighborhood has expanded to include stages I, II, III, IV, and V, becoming the most populous in Manaus. The regularization of properties in Cidade Nova is an ongoing and detailed process that involves the presentation of documents, architectural projects, and obtaining certificates. The Municipal Institute of Urban Planning of Manaus (IMPLURB) considers regularization and occupancy permits essential for issuing the Certificate of Regularization and Occupancy Permit for buildings completed without prior approval and licensing of the architectural project. This study describes the case study of a single-family property that underwent this process, completed in approximately four months, resulting in a 20% increase in value after the issuance of the occupancy permit. During the execution of this work, the stages and challenges faced in the regularization and occupancy permit process were analyzed, with emphasis on the conformity of the building volume with current standards and the absence of frontal setback from the land, as required by Law No. 1.838/2014. The proposed alternatives were also evaluated, such as the applicant's handwritten justification due to socioeconomic limitations, and the CMDU's opinion that verified the possibility of regularizing the property. The results showed that, in addition to legalizing the occupation and use of the space, regularization provides greater security and peace of mind to the owners. The success in obtaining the occupancy permit represents habitability under current legislation and reflects the commitment to sustainable and orderly urban development in the city of Manaus. For future work, we suggest implementing realtime sharing systems between the sectors responsible for analyzing the regularization process, providing guides and teaching manuals, and creating free or low-cost technical and legal assistance programs.
