Remembering that a construction system is a set of subsystems and components that relate to each other. And the relationship between these components and the subsystems respects a mode of organization. The objective of this study is to evaluate the technicaleconomic feasibility of a construction process of sealing masonry with vertical holes, considering a system with agility, that is, a system that decreases execution time, focusing directly on the production of labor, in addition to low mortar consumption. Based on the productivity and quality history of the conventional system with block with holes horizontally well with its needs and characteristics, we will analyze the positive and negative points of both. The rationalized masonry system is based on productivity, quality and flexibility, providing clean, fast and safe works. In general, I will analyze the cost of benefit that this system focuses on civil construction, that is, an economic analysis of a sealing masonry model will be presented, and thus taking into account the productivity gain, and respect for the environment, because through the study we can verify the reduction of waste generated by masonry, such as waste from brick breaks (in the settlement and conventional and precarious act of instilling the facilities. This system has feasibility for high standard enterprise with reinforced concrete structure, because it is allowed modification, because the block has the sealing function, and to resist only the weight of the masonry of which it is part, and in addition to the agility at the time of electrical and hydraulic installations, because it is born right after the marking of the first spun.Item Análise de manifestações patológicas em unidades de saúde de Manaus, seus impactos, correções e profilaxia(2025-01-28) Silva, Vitor Angelo da Costa; Vieira, Paulo Cezar Corrêa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9365262483938738; Vieira, Paulo Cezar Corrêa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9365262483938738; Jussara Socorro Cury , Maciel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7127472548844722; Silva, Felipe Wilson Leão da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0194896119954468A well-designed and well-executed project plays an extremely important role in obtaining a satisfactory result. At Condomínio Quintas de São José do Rio Negro, in Manaus, local weather conditions, such as intense rain and high temperatures, made this decision even more relevant. A comparative analysis between interlocking paver and asphalt revealed advantages and advantages of both materials. The interlocking paver stood out for its appearance, aesthetic appeal, high resistance and ability to move through the block joints, reducing the impact of rain on the drainage system. Asphalt showed greater capacity for intense traffic but presented higher maintenance costs and lower environmental sustainability. In tropical regions, interlocking pavement performed better against rain and heat, while asphalt suffered greater wear, increasing costs and damaging its useful life. From an environmental point of view, the paver contributed to recharging groundwater and minimizing flooding, while asphalt, derived from petroleum, generated a greater environmental impact. Economically, although paving has a higher initial cost, its durability and lower maintenance requirements make it more advantageous in the long term. Asphalt, despite being more accessible initially, required occasional interventions, increasing costs over time. It is concluded that the interlocking paver is the ideal solution to meet the needs of the condominium, offering a balance between technical, economic and environmental aspects.Item Estudo da aderência do bambu ao concreto(2025-01-27) Sasahara, Antonio Toshiharu; Maruoka, Luz Marina Andrade; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9195629803452948; Maruoka, Luz Marina Andrade; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9195629803452948; Barros, Laerte Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0299419739606476; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256The raw materials used by the construction sector cause environmental impacts, among which steel stands out with the greatest impact on greenhouse gas emissions during its production. Thus, seeking alternatives to replace steel is of paramount importance to mitigate carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Bamboo, being a renewable material, abundant in nature, and with a high rate of growth and propagation, presents itself as an excellent option, including for CO2 capture from the atmosphere. However, its greatest challenge is its adhesion to cement and its preservation against insect and fungus attacks. This research aims to evaluate the adhesion resistance between cement mortar and bamboo treated with borax using the hot water and cold water method. For this, species collection, treatment, drying, and adhesion tensile strength tests of bamboo to concrete were carried out. The treatment did not show bamboo decay within the concrete after 28 days immersed in water during the concrete curing process, and the pull-out resistance of the splints from the concrete showed results that enable its use with concrete, with average values for bamboo adhesion stress of 1.72 MPa, with the proposed preservative treatment.Item Estudo de caso de um projeto elétrico residencial de baixa tensão(2025-01-27) Xavier, João Pedro Rodrigues; Santos, Luiz Eduardo Mateus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5752567774043165; Santos, Luiz Eduardo Mateus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5752567774043165; Takeno, Litiko Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7119868373955176; Taveita, Alberto Fábio da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9514824896688750This graduation thesis (TCC) presents a case study of a low voltage residential electrical project, aiming to identify the project's compliances and non-compliances with the current regulatory standards, specifically NBR 5410:2004. Although AI offers several opportunities for resource optimization, scenario simulation, and process automation, it also presents challenges, such as the dependence on automated systems that can compromise the quality of technical work. The study seeks to investigate the potential benefits and risks associated with the implementation of AI in the sector, with a focus on the creation and management of architectural projects. The methodology adopted involved bibliographic research based on academic articles, books, and recent case studies, with a thematic analysis: identifying the programs that are classified as AI and how they affect today's civil engineering scenario, their challenges, and benefits. The results indicate that, although AI can improve efficiency and reduce costs, its application without technical supervision can generate misinterpretation and legal problems, especially when users do not have specialized training. The research concludes that, in order to maximize the benefits of AI, it is essential that construction professionals continue to act critically, supervising technological tools and ensuring that projects comply with local standards and requirements. Therefore, AI should be seen as a complementary tool, and not as a substitute for the technical knowledge of professionals in the sector.Item Monitoring the transmission of COVID 19 through geoprocessing technique(2023-02-27) Canto, Claudio Ricardo FariasItem Processo de regularização e habite-se de imóvel unifamiliar – um estudo de caso realizado no bairro Cidade Nova I, em Manaus/AM(2025-01-28) Nobre, Jaritsa Maria da Costa; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847This paper aims to describe the process of regularizing and obtaining a occupancy permit for a single-family social housing property located in the Cidade Nova I neighborhood in the city of Manaus, Amazonas. Urban expansion requires strict control by public organizations, making regularization and issuance of a occupancy permit essential for the proper occupation of spaces and the correct execution of works and engineering services. The Cidade Nova neighborhood, located in the northern part of Manaus, was planned in the 1980s during the government of Professor José Bernardino Lindoso, initially to house 15,000 low-income housing units. However, only 1,800 homes were completed in the first phase, inaugurated on April 23, 1981. Since then, the neighborhood has expanded to include stages I, II, III, IV, and V, becoming the most populous in Manaus. The regularization of properties in Cidade Nova is an ongoing and detailed process that involves the presentation of documents, architectural projects, and obtaining certificates. The Municipal Institute of Urban Planning of Manaus (IMPLURB) considers regularization and occupancy permits essential for issuing the Certificate of Regularization and Occupancy Permit for buildings completed without prior approval and licensing of the architectural project. This study describes the case study of a single-family property that underwent this process, completed in approximately four months, resulting in a 20% increase in value after the issuance of the occupancy permit. During the execution of this work, the stages and challenges faced in the regularization and occupancy permit process were analyzed, with emphasis on the conformity of the building volume with current standards and the absence of frontal setback from the land, as required by Law No. 1.838/2014. The proposed alternatives were also evaluated, such as the applicant's handwritten justification due to socioeconomic limitations, and the CMDU's opinion that verified the possibility of regularizing the property. The results showed that, in addition to legalizing the occupation and use of the space, regularization provides greater security and peace of mind to the owners. The success in obtaining the occupancy permit represents habitability under current legislation and reflects the commitment to sustainable and orderly urban development in the city of Manaus. For future work, we suggest implementing realtime sharing systems between the sectors responsible for analyzing the regularization process, providing guides and teaching manuals, and creating free or low-cost technical and legal assistance programs.Item Reconstrução de um projeto comercial com a utilização da tecnologia scanner para BIM(2023-03-31) Oliveira, Wenderson Igor de Almeida; Silva, Felipe Wilson Leão da; Barros, Laerte MeloModeling aims to make built environments easier to understand, define and quantify materials, visualize, and simulate physical spaces. Currently, building information models (BIM) have been widely used in the creation phase of new constructions, but the use of BIM becomes a challenging process when it needs to be applied in buildings that were built before the technology existed. And today, engineering and construction needs more efficient information models for the reconstruction of 3D projects of old buildings and the architectural heritage of large cities, to facilitate decisionmaking in renovations and new adaptations. The traditional process to create or update the 3D modeling of a building built before BIM is a time-consuming and laborious procedure. Laser scanning technology from point clouds with the integration of a global positioning system, for refinement and adjustment of the external and internal environments of the building help to reduce errors. This article proposes a procedure capable of integrating images and accurate information from a mobile LiDAR scanner by point clouds, a positioning system, and finally, a reconstruction BIM model. The results showed that the procedures improved the quality of the reconstruction in terms of completeness, precision, and speed in modeling.Item Renaturalização de cursos d’água em Manaus/AM(2020-05-12) Chaves, Adelina Cristina Augusto; Carvalho, Iraúna MaiconãThe Manaus City has important urban watersheds that have high levels of pollution, occupation of the margins, reduction of natural drainage and accumulation of solid waste. Such areas need alternatives that enable the landscape to change positively, improving the quality of these areas, mobility and leisure in the community. This work identifies and maps the main streams and water courses in the Manaus’s watersheds and proposes alternatives for the naturalization of the streams' areas, aiming to guarantee the return of the water courses in their fullness. It uses georeferenced hydrological maps of the Manaus’s watersheds, research by public agencies and a bibliographic review by local scientists, who investigate the recovery of riverbeds. Hence, it delimits the watersheds and proposes alternatives for the renaturalization of watercourses. In this way, it aims to contribute to the discussion regarding environmental sustainability and contribute to raising awareness of the need to implement actions with socio-environmental responsibility.
