Remembering that a construction system is a set of subsystems and components that relate to each other. And the relationship between these components and the subsystems respects a mode of organization. The objective of this study is to evaluate the technicaleconomic feasibility of a construction process of sealing masonry with vertical holes, considering a system with agility, that is, a system that decreases execution time, focusing directly on the production of labor, in addition to low mortar consumption. Based on the productivity and quality history of the conventional system with block with holes horizontally well with its needs and characteristics, we will analyze the positive and negative points of both. The rationalized masonry system is based on productivity, quality and flexibility, providing clean, fast and safe works. In general, I will analyze the cost of benefit that this system focuses on civil construction, that is, an economic analysis of a sealing masonry model will be presented, and thus taking into account the productivity gain, and respect for the environment, because through the study we can verify the reduction of waste generated by masonry, such as waste from brick breaks (in the settlement and conventional and precarious act of instilling the facilities. This system has feasibility for high standard enterprise with reinforced concrete structure, because it is allowed modification, because the block has the sealing function, and to resist only the weight of the masonry of which it is part, and in addition to the agility at the time of electrical and hydraulic installations, because it is born right after the marking of the first spun.Item Análise técnica e ambiental do igarapé do Mindu no bairro Novo Aleixo, Manaus-AM(2025-01-29) Ramos, Antônio Gabriel Santos de; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120This work presents a technical and environmental analysis of Igarapé do Mindu, focusing on the region of the Novo Aleixo neighborhood, in Manaus-AM. This product aims to promote procedural and attitudinal changes to students, as they enable students to apply their knowledge in practical situations, develop their skills and competencies over time and carry out relevant tasks in their academic lives, reflecting on their professional future. The implementation of the Didactic Sequence was planned and detailed in three phases with a workload of 20 hours, divided into: 12 hours in the classroom with expository and dialogue classes, 4 hours in the computer laboratory with the development of a workshop designed for the student to learn about and develop a plant using the Revit/BIM program and 4 hours in the computer laboratory with a workshop designed to visualize the three-dimensional project using Virtual Reality glasses.Item Inteligência Artificial na construção civil: benefícios, desafios e a importância do profissional na tomada de decisão(2025-03-03) Barboza, Tereza Nazaré Ulloa; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira deThe research explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on decision-making in the construction industry, particularly in the use of programs for the preparation of architectural projects. Although AI offers several opportunities for resource optimization, scenario simulation, and process automation, it also presents challenges, such as the dependence on automated systems that can compromise the quality of technical work. The study seeks to investigate the potential benefits and risks associated with the implementation of AI in the sector, with a focus on the creation and management of architectural projects. The methodology adopted involved bibliographic research based on academic articles, books, and recent case studies, with a thematic analysis: identifying the programs that are classified as AI and how they affect today's civil engineering scenario, their challenges, and benefits. The results indicate that, although AI can improve efficiency and reduce costs, its application without technical supervision can generate misinterpretation and legal problems, especially when users do not have specialized training. The research concludes that, in order to maximize the benefits of AI, it is essential that construction professionals continue to act critically, supervising technological tools and ensuring that projects comply with local standards and requirements. Therefore, AI should be seen as a complementary tool, and not as a substitute for the technical knowledge of professionals in the sector.Item Metodologia BIM com uso da realidade virtual para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem da disciplina arquitetura e urbanismo do curso de engenharia civil(2024-03-27) Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; Anglada-Rivera, José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Anglada-Rivera, José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Araújo, Valdete Santos deThis dissertation consists of a teaching-learning proposal for the discipline of Architecture and Urbanism involving the development of architectural design integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Virtual Reality (VR). The general objective of this research was to apply a didactic sequence in teaching architectural project development content, contributing to the teaching-learning process of 25 students in the 7th period of the Architecture and Urban Planning discipline of the Civil Engineering undergraduate course at the Institute. Federal Department of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas – Campus Manaus Centro - IFAM/CMC. It consists of qualitative research, which adopted action research as an investigation strategy to organize methodological procedures through three (03) phases of planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation, using data collection instruments as: questionnaires, observations, notes in the field diary and evaluation of the architectural projects developed by the participants. The didactic sequence was applied combining face-to-face and flipped classroom study activities. It promoted procedural and attitudinal changes for students, as it encouraged students to apply their knowledge in practical situations, developing their skills and competencies over time and carrying out relevant tasks in their academic lives. The implementation of the planned and detailed didactic sequence occurred in three phases with a workload of 20 hours, including: 12 hours for face-to-face expository and dialogue classes and independent studies, implementation of two workshops held in the computer laboratory, each with lasting 4 hours and in person. Workshop 1 was intended for the student to develop a plan using the Revit/BIM program and workshop 2 lasted 4 hours for viewing the three dimensional project using Virtual Reality glasses. To develop the learning assessment, the students were organized into pairs under the guidance of the researcher participant, they developed 01 residential architectural project from its conception to the visualization of the virtual prototype in 3D. These projects were evaluated using a set of criteria organized into rubrics, thus establishing the level of student performance, difficulties and improvements observed during each phase. The research results demonstrated that the didactic sequence using the integration of BIM with VR offered a meaningful and effective learning experience for Civil Engineering students, improved skills, providing understanding of complex architectural concepts and stimulating creativity in the development of the architectural project. As a result of this research, a Teaching Guide was organized as an educational product under the title 11 “Integration of BIM with virtual reality in teaching architectural projects”, which includes details of the teaching-learning proposal, teaching resources and a set of guidelines that assist teachers and students in the area of Civil Engineering in replicating the aforementioned proposal in their teaching contexts. This study contributes to the existing literature by highlighting the importance of adding the use of Digital Communication and Information Technologies – TDCI as a tool to investigate and improve teaching practices for educators, professionals and researchers interested in promoting the advancement of architecture teachingItem Processo de regularização e habite-se de imóvel unifamiliar – um estudo de caso realizado no bairro Cidade Nova I, em Manaus/AM(2025-01-28) Nobre, Jaritsa Maria da Costa; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8948885803989120; Fernandes, Francisco José Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166612623704256; Lucena, Ana Maria Dias da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3426441277160847This paper aims to describe the process of regularizing and obtaining a occupancy permit for a single-family social housing property located in the Cidade Nova I neighborhood in the city of Manaus, Amazonas. Urban expansion requires strict control by public organizations, making regularization and issuance of a occupancy permit essential for the proper occupation of spaces and the correct execution of works and engineering services. The Cidade Nova neighborhood, located in the northern part of Manaus, was planned in the 1980s during the government of Professor José Bernardino Lindoso, initially to house 15,000 low-income housing units. However, only 1,800 homes were completed in the first phase, inaugurated on April 23, 1981. Since then, the neighborhood has expanded to include stages I, II, III, IV, and V, becoming the most populous in Manaus. The regularization of properties in Cidade Nova is an ongoing and detailed process that involves the presentation of documents, architectural projects, and obtaining certificates. The Municipal Institute of Urban Planning of Manaus (IMPLURB) considers regularization and occupancy permits essential for issuing the Certificate of Regularization and Occupancy Permit for buildings completed without prior approval and licensing of the architectural project. This study describes the case study of a single-family property that underwent this process, completed in approximately four months, resulting in a 20% increase in value after the issuance of the occupancy permit. During the execution of this work, the stages and challenges faced in the regularization and occupancy permit process were analyzed, with emphasis on the conformity of the building volume with current standards and the absence of frontal setback from the land, as required by Law No. 1.838/2014. The proposed alternatives were also evaluated, such as the applicant's handwritten justification due to socioeconomic limitations, and the CMDU's opinion that verified the possibility of regularizing the property. The results showed that, in addition to legalizing the occupation and use of the space, regularization provides greater security and peace of mind to the owners. The success in obtaining the occupancy permit represents habitability under current legislation and reflects the commitment to sustainable and orderly urban development in the city of Manaus. For future work, we suggest implementing realtime sharing systems between the sectors responsible for analyzing the regularization process, providing guides and teaching manuals, and creating free or low-cost technical and legal assistance programs.
