Urban expansion requires strict control by public organizations, making regularization and issuance of a occupancy permit essential for the proper occupation of spaces and the correct execution of works and engineering services. The Cidade Nova neighborhood, located in the northern part of Manaus, was planned in the 1980s during the government of Professor José Bernardino Lindoso, initially to house 15,000 low-income housing units. However, only 1,800 homes were completed in the first phase, inaugurated on April 23, 1981. Since then, the neighborhood has expanded to include stages I, II, III, IV, and V, becoming the most populous in Manaus. The regularization of properties in Cidade Nova is an ongoing and detailed process that involves the presentation of documents, architectural projects, and obtaining certificates. The Municipal Institute of Urban Planning of Manaus (IMPLURB) considers regularization and occupancy permits essential for issuing the Certificate of Regularization and Occupancy Permit for buildings completed without prior approval and licensing of the architectural project. This study describes the case study of a single-family property that underwent this process, completed in approximately four months, resulting in a 20% increase in value after the issuance of the occupancy permit. During the execution of this work, the stages and challenges faced in the regularization and occupancy permit process were analyzed, with emphasis on the conformity of the building volume with current standards and the absence of frontal setback from the land, as required by Law No. 1.838/2014. The proposed alternatives were also evaluated, such as the applicant's handwritten justification due to socioeconomic limitations, and the CMDU's opinion that verified the possibility of regularizing the property. The results showed that, in addition to legalizing the occupation and use of the space, regularization provides greater security and peace of mind to the owners. The success in obtaining the occupancy permit represents habitability under current legislation and reflects the commitment to sustainable and orderly urban development in the city of Manaus. For future work, we suggest implementing realtime sharing systems between the sectors responsible for analyzing the regularization process, providing guides and teaching manuals, and creating free or low-cost technical and legal assistance programs.Item Inteligência Artificial na construção civil: benefícios, desafios e a importância do profissional na tomada de decisão(2025-03-03) Barboza, Tereza Nazaré Ulloa; Aguiar, Cristiane Pereira deThe research explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on decision-making in the construction industry, particularly in the use of programs for the preparation of architectural projects. Although AI offers several opportunities for resource optimization, scenario simulation, and process automation, it also presents challenges, such as the dependence on automated systems that can compromise the quality of technical work. The study seeks to investigate the potential benefits and risks associated with the implementation of AI in the sector, with a focus on the creation and management of architectural projects. The methodology adopted involved bibliographic research based on academic articles, books, and recent case studies, with a thematic analysis: identifying the programs that are classified as AI and how they affect today's civil engineering scenario, their challenges, and benefits. The results indicate that, although AI can improve efficiency and reduce costs, its application without technical supervision can generate misinterpretation and legal problems, especially when users do not have specialized training. The research concludes that, in order to maximize the benefits of AI, it is essential that construction professionals continue to act critically, supervising technological tools and ensuring that projects comply with local standards and requirements. Therefore, AI should be seen as a complementary tool, and not as a substitute for the technical knowledge of professionals in the sector.Item Estudo da influência do lítio na síntese de titanato de sódio como uma alternativa para baterias de estado sólido(2025-01-04) Souza, Handerson Cunha de; Moura, David da Silva; Oliveira Neto, Benjamin Batista deThe growing demand for new energy sources has been a stimulus for extensive research in the area of materials, especially in high-performance solid-state batteries. Recently, sodium trititanate (Na2Ti3O7), an inorganic chemical compound, has received attention due to its effectiveness in ion exchange and catalytic properties. However, its application as an electrolyte in solid-state batteries is limited due to its low electrical conductivity. To overcome this limitation, lithium-doped Na2Ti3O7 nanoparticles were synthesized in different proportions, ranging from 0% to 5% by mass, using the microwave-assisted hydrothermal method. Samples were extensively characterized by XRD, 0%, 1% and 5% samples were also analyzed by DTA, Raman spectroscopy and complex impedance spectroscopy. Notably, the 5% lithium doped sample exhibited an electrical resistance approximately one order of magnitude lower than the undoped material. These promising results highlight the potential of doped sodium titanate as a viable component for high-performance solidstate batteries due to its enhanced structural and conductive properties.Item Padronização do planejamento e controle de manutenção através do pilar de manutenção profissional pertencente a metodologia WCM em uma empresa da linha branca do polo industrial de Manaus - AM(2024-08-22) Pereira, Wander Sousa; Pinto, Camila Costa; Maciel, Paulo Fernando Figueiredo; Fialho, Michaella Socorro Bruce; Oliveira Neto, Benjamim Batista deIn today's globalized scenario, pursuing excellence in maintenance management is crucial for companies to maintain their competitiveness in the international market.
