They are transmitted by the female gender of the moskito Aedes aegypti and today, they are presente in all brazilian territory. The Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education created a program called School Health, which approaches about ways of prevention for these diseases and the promotion of health. It’s school’s and teacher’s responsibility, as health promoters, to spread the knowledge about the vector, its characteristics and etiological agents. In this research, we verified the effects of prevention campaigns and awareness in students of a federal institution, evaluating the researched population knowledge about the vector and its etiological agents, comparing the level of knowledge of the different educational levels. Coming from the idea that health education is liked to the meaningful learning, the tool for this research was a semi-open quiz, which application was done in two steps: 1) The quiz was applied to check the students previous knowledge. 2) The quiz was applied after classes with exhibition of a biology didactic video about the vector and its diseases social-political-economical implications using a PowerPoint® presentation with recent and contextualized information about these arboviruses. As result of the first avaliation, we noticed that campaigns that are external of the schools environment had better impact in every researched class. We verified a difference between classes from the graduation level and high school level, with a better development in the first ones. Its suggested that more intense activities about diseases prevention can be done inside of the institution and more attention to be given to the contents related to this theme in courses of teachers formation willing that the promotion of health be na activity independent of the promotional campaigns only done during the epidemics.Item Sequência didática sobre os conceitos e fenômenos físicos relacionados com os eventos atmosféricos e meteorológicos para o ensino de física no 2º ano do ensino médio do município de Tefé(2016-02-15) Bacelar, Reginaldo José Gonçalves; Anglada-Rivera, José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Anglada-Rivera, José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Perez, Silvana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3585326481456738; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; http://repositorio.ifam.edu.br/jspui/handle/4321/890Item Sequência didática sobre os conceitos e fenômenos físicos relacionados com os eventos atmosféricos e meteorológicos para o ensino de física no 2º ano do ensino médio do município de Tefé(2016-02-15) Bacelar, Reginaldo José Gonçalves; Anglada-Rivera, José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Anglada-Rivera, José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Perez, Silvana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3585326481456738; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599This paper proposes a teaching tool, based on the construction of a Rain Gauge from alternative materials, in order to facilitate meaningful learning, allowing high school students to understand the concepts and physical phenomena and their relationship to the main phenomena atmospheric and weather with the problem of how to contextualize the process of teaching learning of the main meteorological phenomena in the thematic area of the curriculum component of Physics Heat and Temperature, as the rain and its cycles, pressure, volume, maximum and minimum temperature, relative humidity donate. The product of this work is the development of a didactic sequence composed of teaching strategies as viewing videos, scientific texts, reading popular science articles and reconstruction of two physics experiments for data collection by students and discussion in group mode the physics teachers that teach the sophomore high school students can use in the classroom, in relation to the thematic area temperature and heat so that they can make the content from the previous knowledge of students and their importance in the region where they live. The methodological approach was guided by the theory of meaningful learning or assimilative of David Ausubel and the proposal is in line with the curriculum reform, established by the National Curriculum Guidelines for Secondary Education (PCNEM), suggesting a focused teaching to train entered citizens in society. We also highlight that were essential for the development of the didactic sequence: the application of investigative questionnaires for students and teacher classroom holder in which we identify the prior knowledge of the main atmospheric phenomena that enabled us to verify the conceptual changes of students in relation to the axis theme mentioned above. From an educational perspective, the introduction of topics on Modern and Contemporary Physics (FMC) allows the student to perceive that what is studied in the classroom explains the technology contained in his computer, his cell phone, residential alarm systems and others, which shows the transcendence from themes discussed in school to its own experience. Fromthis perspective, the general objective of our research is: to explore the technological development linked to Semiconductor Physics and Electricity, realizing its applicability in the modern world, promoting a student-teacher interaction, research, discussions and group work, based on the theoretical development of significant learningfrom David Ausubel, and therefore improving knowledge and skills in problem solving. Data survey and research applications were performed in a public school in Manaus - AM, located in the North Zone. The application of the educational product followed the steps of a didactic sequence, with the central theme Semiconductor Physics, in which the constructed physical concepts were analyzed with physical and online applications using scratch platform, ending with circuit set up. Student‟s performance analysis was done in parts, class by class, with the intuit of measure positive results on the best way, and at the end of the process the students were able to realize that the contextualization of the themes has great influence on the learning process. From a general point of view, the results obtained were satisfactory, considering the commitment inactivities performed both in classroom or computer and science laboratories, and student‟s evolution in each applied test that was observed mostly as improvement in the written arguments.Item ABP: ensino de física moderna(2020-06-01) Gonçalves, Karen Magno; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Anglada-Rivera, José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Braga, Marcel Bruno PereiraAs trainers of assistant physics teachers during the teaching of modern physics in the last years of high school, we developed this didactic guide that aims to learn more about the concepts and experiences included in this theme. An energy quantization, a nature of light and Bohr's atomic model are the concepts covered in all observed textbooks, the logo if produced or the focus of learning. In addition, this guide makes use of “seven leaps” that adopt the teaching strategy of Problem Based Learning (PBL). Despite being a permitted guide for the teaching of Modern Physics, we understand that it can be applicable to other techniques or to other disciplines that make up science, and even to other areas of knowledge.Item Uma proposta para o ensino de conceitos da fisica moderna por meio da aprendizagem baseada em problemas(2020-06-01) Gonçalves, Karen Magno; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Anglada-Rivera, José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5724564590431920; Braga, Marcel Bruno Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1142247924140098The teaching of Modern Physics (MF) in high school classes has been a subject discussed by many teachers and researchers in recent years. It is a question about how we can insert MF teaching in schools and also how we can make students more active and interested in their learning. In order to solve this problem, we propose the construction and use of a Potentially Significant Teaching Unit (PSTU) based on Moreira, which uses, in its stages, the teaching strategy of Problem Based Learning (PBL), in order to investigate that aspects a didactic proposal that uses this teaching strategy can contribute to promote meaningful learning of MF concepts for students of the 3rd year of high school. Thus, as a methodology we use the qualitative approach and the epistemological basis of action research of the strategic type, which performs only one cycle in the application (planning → action → reflection → research → reframing). In addition, the data collection instruments were observation, problem solving, evaluative activity (use of scores) and questionnaires. Inserting the seven jumps proposed by Schmidt for PBL, we built the PSTU, which has eight steps, namely: (1) problem planning and formulation; (2) presentation of the problem and identification of previous knowledge; (3) brainstorming and preparation for studies; (4) addressing general knowledge through themes for individual studies; (5) increasing complexity and conducting new individual studies; (6) increased complexity and presentation of the problem solution; (7) carrying out an evaluative activity; (8) assessing the success of PSTU. After the implementation of the proposal and the analysis of the results obtained, it was noted that, in terms of student engagement in learning activities, there was an active collective participation and an increase in the progressive differentiations of the MF concepts during the orientation classes. In addition, this PSTU, in order to provide students with a cognitively demanding and communicational material, which at the same time favored meaningful learning, served as a basis for the construction of an educational product in the form of a didactic guide. Finally, it can be said that this PSTU, which made use of PBL as a teaching strategy, made it possible for students to actively participate in their process of learning MF concepts and presented in the results evidence of more meaningful learning, such as interest of the students for the solution of the problem and the choice of potentially significant materials.Item Proposta didática para o ensino de circuitos elétricos(2016-04-02) Souza, Pricila Rodrigues de; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Cabral Neto, João dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9340150562756599; Azevedo, Rosa Oliveira Marins; Terán, Augusto Fachin
