Families face the dilemma of protecting elderly family members without compromising their autonomy and independence during this vulnerable phase of their lives. Along with the physical and psychological changes involved in the natural aging process, domestic accidents, particularly falls, become common events for most of the elderly population. In this context, a fall detection system was presented, employing pose recognition (poseNet) and action recognition (actionNet) technologies, capable of automatically sending alerts to relatives or caregivers. The results demonstrated an accuracy of 82.5% in the proposed model, with near-instantaneous time between alert delivery and receivement. Thus, the system proved to be efficient, meeting the outlined objectives and serving as a foundation for future projects.Item Uso de redes neurais para classificação de resíduos sólidos(2024-11-26) Maciel, Kainy Medeiros; Santos, Alyson de Jesus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5998752909180697; Santos, Alyson de Jesus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5998752909180697; Rodrigues, Marlos André Silva Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0650250324042531; Nascimento, José Fábio de Lima; ttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0056522906128231; Alencar, Sérgio Costa Martins de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7936103793279068Item Automatização do processo de paletização de evaporadores de condicionadores de ar a partir dos pilares da indústria 4.0: estudo de um modelo(2024-07-29) Gomes, Alan Junior Lopes; Reis, Ailton Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7119484789256081; Reis, Ailton Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7119484789256081; Castro, Cristovãqo Américo Ferreira de; Ribeiro, Ewerton Andrey Godinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0187470129136467The general objective of this study is to describe the process of automating the palletizing process of evaporators on a production line, using the technologies from the pillars of Industry 4.0. Based on a literature review, the methodology for building the neural network will be defined, and it will be trained with data collected from reliable sources and analyzed to evaluate the accuracy of detection. The use of neural networks can be a promising and non-invasive alternative for the diagnosis of COVID-19, especially in regions where PCR tests are scarce or time-consuming. Additionally, the use of neural networks may offer advantages over other forms of diagnosis, such as computed tomography (CT), as chest radiographs are more widely available and less costly. However, it is important to consider the limitations and challenges encountered in using neural networks for this purpose, such as the lack of specificity in mild or asymptomatic cases and the need for quality equipment and trained professionals to interpret the images. This study aims to contribute to the advancement of COVID-19 diagnosis through non-invasive and effective methods, as well as to identify possible limitations and challenges in using neural networks for this purpose.Item Prevenção contra deepfakes: desenvolvimento de um sistema de reconhecimento facial para diferenciar rostos humanos de rostos gerados por IA(2024-03-19) Silva, Romão Charles Silva e; Santos, Alyson de Jesus dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5998752909180697; Santos, Alyson de Jesus dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5998752909180697; Martins, Gilbert Breves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4932200790121123; Rodrigues, Marlos André Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0682962508867807This work aims to develop a system based on machine learning that differentiates images of people generated by artificial intelligence from real people, a capability that can be very useful for identifying scams that use generated images. On the one hand, we have convenience and progress for humanity, on the other we have the dangers that lack of information and carelessness can cause, one of the main dangers in terms of exposure being electric shock, a risk that is directly inserted in homes, and especially linked to children who, out of curiosity, can come into contact with sockets and can cause fatal accidents. For this reason, the aim of this work is to create a system to prevent children from having electrical accidents in residential sockets, using the RF 433 MHz sensor, which has a transmitter, which will be next to the child, and a receiver, which will be connected to the microcontroller and the relay in the socket. When the child approaches within the pre-defined distance, the relay will be activated and the socket will be de-energized, preventing an accident if the child touches the socket.Item Eficiência no processo SMT: estratégias de otimização de parâmetros com ênfase na OEE(2024-03-12) Cavalcante, Álvaro Lucas Lessa; Santos, Renan Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6930748017205035; Abreu, Luiz Henrique; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4264159301471188; Santos, Renan Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6930748017205035; Abreu, Luiz Henrique Portela de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4264159301471188; Frota, Vitor Bremgartner da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6100146230873494This work addresses the importance and impacts of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) in the contemporary electronics industry. The research highlights the fundamental principles behind the SMT process, analyzing its crucial role in the efficiency and performance of modern electronic devices. Initially, the transition from conventional assembly technology to SMT is explored, highlighting the advantages that have driven this change, such as reduced space, greater automation and efficiency in production. The study delves into the key aspects of the SMT process, from the components and equipment used to the reflow soldering techniques and quality inspection. In addition, the challenges faced in deploying SMT are examined, such as the need for specialized skills and the complexity of reworking faulty welds. At the same time, strategies to optimize the process are presented, aiming to maximize the efficiency and quality of the final products. Through parameter adjustments, focusing on the use of Fuji Flexa software and the application of the OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) performance indicator, a reduction in cycle time from 64.98 seconds to 53.88 seconds was obtained, furthermore, the number of defective boards decreases from 8 to just 2, the adaptations in the parameters reflected directly on the OEE. The analysis of the OEE before and after the changes showed a notable increase, from 70.08% to 80.85%. These results indicate a faster, more efficient, and higher quality production, highlighting the effectiveness of the strategies implemented. Future trends are also highlighted, pointing to the continued potential for improvement and development of the SMT process to meet the growing demands of the electronics industry.
