Item Analysis of the challenges of a private cardboard recycling company to fulfill its mission in the city of Manaus, Amazonas(2022-05-11) Cabral, Larissa dos Santos; Nascimento-e-Silva, DanielO comércio de materiais de origem celulósica, como papel, papelão e outros, tem apresentado crescimento significativo em muitos países, principalmente por serem utilizados como revestimentos de embalagens e outras formas de reaproveitamento, fundamentos da logística reversa. Neste sentido, este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar os desafios que uma empresa privada de reciclagem de papelão enfrenta para cumprir a sua missão organizacional na cidade de Manaus, capital do estado do Amazonas. Para isso, seguiu as etapas previstas no método científico-tecnológico. Os dados foram coletados através de um roteiro de entrevistas e um protocolo de observação, organizados e analisados com o auxílio de técnicas de análise semântica, identificando-se termos centrais das respostas coletadas por entrevistas e comparadas com os dados observados; os resultados foram gerados com técnicas de triangulação das respostas obtidas com os dois instrumentos e interpretados de forma comparativa com o quadro teórico de referência. Os resultados mostraram que a) a empresa contribui para com a preservação ambiental através da destinação correta de materiais e limpeza dos locais públicos, b) essas contribuições são feitas através de obediência aos procedimentos legais, c) seus desafios são ter acesso a todos os clientes industriais e residenciais e conscientizar a população sobre a importância da preservação ambiental; d) população e governos são os agentes que podem ajudar a superar esses desafios através de e) conscientização da importância da sustentabilidade (população) capacitar e fazer a população colocar em prática a sustentabilidade (governo). The aim of product is to train these professionals by teaching management procedures that, when put into practice, increase the probability of course sucess in periodic assesment conducted by the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP). To this purpose, a Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) course has been designed, consisting of four modules, each one with their corresponding e-books, which contain the necessary content for the course coordinator to achieve the desired sucess in managing higher courses. The definition of the knowledge that make up the product modules occurred from the definition of Nascimento-e-Silva (2018), which says that the coordinator must pay attention to the management and regulation functions of such course. The study identified that the self-training proposed for undergraduate managers proved to be an excellent tool, which cause be use as didatic guide in the management of higher education courses. This theme has been focused on in national studies with a view to identifying the main causes that lead students to discontinue their school life. This study aims to establish a conceptual definition regarding the issue of dropout, understand how dropout occurs at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM) and create a technological artifact that contributes to the management of teaching in the organization of pedagogical spaces for preventive action with this problem. The methodological procedure used was the ScientificTechnological Method (MC-T), developed by Nascimento-e-Silva (2012). The concepts concerning dropout were collected in databases and later organized in order to identify not only the content of the definitions but also their equivalence terms and attributes. Data collection was carried out by analyzing the minutes of class councils of the IFAM High School Technical Professional Education (EPTNM) courses, in the years 2018 and 2019, identifying the main causes of dropouts in that Institute. For empirical analysis, with the servers who work directly in education, an online questionnaire was self-administered, consisting of socio-institutional questions and related to possible causes of dropouts at the IFAM. The analysis of these responses occurred through the combination of the result (p-value) of 3 statistical tests, in order to identify the causes most strongly associated with school dropout at the IFAM. As a result, nine main causes of school dropout were obtained at the IFAM: social vulnerability, distance from home, pregnancy, class hours, lack of identity with the course, non-attendance, apathy, family problems and learning delay. After bibliographical, documental and field research analysis, a Control Panel was created as an educational product that will subsidize the work of professionals working in teaching management, to prevent school evasion within the IFAM. The scientific-technological method was used, which began with the construction of scientific knowledge, whose first stage was the definition of state-of-the-art, followed by the collection, organization and generation of the knowledge required for the realization of technological production. The construction of the prototype of the product (portfolio) was its first stage, followed by the tests and retests of the prototype until the validation of the final product, its last stage. The results obtained with the empirical survey were: a) offer of the courses of Attendance to the Public, Administrative Assistants, Sales Techniques, Business Management and Human Resources, b) identification of training needs of components of the productive sector and environmental services to which Itaituba Campus is located c) formative satisfaction of 22 inhabitants of the Campo Verde district in Itaituba d) identification of new niches of action for the extension sector of the Itaituba Campus, e) closer relationship between university and other components of the environment. The product complied adequately the mediating function of the institution's relationship with its environment of acting as a provider of needs, because it identifies partnerships; have contributed to the development and citizenship in the Amazon; be an excellent means of institutional communication; allow the identification and updating of the courses that the environment desires, exposing in its structure what the environment needs and what Ufopa is able to offer, deepening the institutionalization and making it possible for the training actions to be focused with a high probability of success. Laws are often difficult to understand by education actors, such as teachers, technicians and managers. And with an aggravating factor: they are dispersed, making knowledge and handling even more difficult to support many educational actions and decisions. In this sense, this study aimed to create the Vade Mecum Educacional, which is the compilation and detailing of all national laws regarding teaching activities, with special emphasis on those developed by the FIs. He used the scientific-technological method, which is characterized by the generation of guiding questions, followed by the collection and organization of laws, stages that configure the scientific part of the method; then the laws were modeled around a Vade Mecum prototype, whose functionality and effectiveness were tested with evaluations by professionals from the teaching area of the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM), and recommendations for improvement were made and submitted to a new evaluation. , configuring the tested and approved final product. The final product consists of a chronological index of the legislation on education, a list of abbreviations and acronyms, 49 constitutional provisions, 9 ordinary laws, an IFAM normative resolution, a technical glossary and an alphabetical and remissive index of the legislation. The conclusion shows that the use of the product in the teaching activities of the FIs will provide more technical and legal security both in its planning and execution and in the managerial decision-making process. Its impacts have been felt in all dimensions of associated human life, especially in education. Due to the inseparable relationship between work and education, it is necessary to analyze the impacts of this movement not only in the industrial area, but also in other areas of acitivy. The general objective of the present study was to create an extension course that dealt with the main aspects of Industry 4.0 from the point of view of science. Therefore, the scientific-technological method was used in its two dimensions, the scientific and the technological, each consisting of four phases. The scientific dimension was operationalized through bibliometric studies, whose data were collected with the aid of a stantardizated questionnaire called “data mass” in scientific articles, dissertations and theses available in the Google Scholar and Science Direct databases; semantic and content analysis allowed to organize the data so that the sought answers could be found and presented in syntethsize charts. The responses of the scientific dimension were handled following the steps of the technological dimension, whose the first stage was the development of a prototype of the course, whose component modules were: a) industrial revolutions, b) that is industry 4.0, c) characteristics of industry 4.0, d) pros and cons of industry 4.0, and e) impacts of industry 4.0. The second stage consisted of testing the prototype with a general public to assess handling, recommendation to the other users, reliability of the content, understanding obtained, satisfaction with the course and assistance in understanding everyday issues associated with industry 4.0. Adjustments were and made to those aspects considered unsatisfactory by users, so that they could be in accordance with their recommendations made in the previous testing tape. After the adjustments made by public were approved, the product was considered finished. The results obtained showed that the extension course created fulfilled the purpose of sharing knowledge about industry 4.0 with a scientific base with the external community. The product is characterized by presenting a didactic and objective language without detracting from the scientific view of the studied phenomenon. The benefit generated by the extension course was to provide users with the scientifically based knowledge about Industry 4.0 in a consistent way, wich allows them to understand their realities and act of them proactively.Item Difficulties in performing selective waste collection in the city of Manaus, Brazil(2022-11-28) Bastos, João Victor Pereira; Nascimento-e-Silva, DanielEstudos científicos cada vez mais têm mostrado que o que se chama lixo na verdade são recursos desperdiçados, tanto sólidos quanto de outras naturezas. Grande parte desses resíduos são gerados no interior dos domicílios urbanos e rurais, o que força os cidadãos a repensarem seu comprometimento com o reaproveitamento do que muitos ainda consideram como lixo. Este estudo teve como objetivo explicar quais são as principais dificuldades para a realização da coleta seletiva de resíduos na cidade de Manaus. Utilizou o método de levantamento, mas com a finalidade de gerar explicação aprofundada sobre como essas dificuldades acontecem, invertendo-se a lógica tradicional desse método. Os dados foram coletados através de um questionário eletrônico, com questões abertas, organizados e analisados com o uso de técnicas semânticas e os resultados foram gerados com as recomendações do método científico-tecnológico. A conclusão apresenta seis tipos distintos e interconectadas de dificuldades que impedem a efetividade da coleta seletiva de resíduos na cidade.Item As dificuldades dos catadores de resíduos sólidos para realizarem a coleta seletiva na cidade de Manaus - Brasil(2023-01-24) Gomes, Alexandre da Silva; Simão, Fernanda de Nazaré Simão; Silva, Roger Farias da; Nascimento-e-Silva, DanielEste estudio buscó describir las principales dificultades que encuentran los recolectores en la recolección de materiales desechados en la ciudad de Manaus, en Brasil. El método utilizado consistió en analizar la práctica de tres recolectores que se mostraron dispuestos a brindar datos e información en profundidad, obtenidos a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas, realizadas en los propios lugares de trabajo de los encuestados, que luego fueron analizadas con la ayuda de la bibliografía conceptual. método e interpretado con la ayuda del análisis semántico. Los resultados mostraron que a) las principales dificultades son el esfuerzo físico extremo, el rechazo de las personas, las condiciones de trabajo insalubres, la falta de equipos de protección personal y la falta de participación de las personas, empresas y gobiernos; b) se presentan dificultades por falta de equipos, desconocimiento técnico de los materiales que se manejan, desconocimiento de la gente sobre la importancia del trabajo de los recolectores y falta de participación de la sociedad y de los gobiernos en la recolección selectiva; c) quienes podrían ayudar a minimizar estas dificultades son los vecinos, empresas y gobiernos y d) lo que pueden hacer los agentes es estructurar la recolección (gobierno), separar los materiales (habitantes), proporcionar más sitios de disposición (ayuntamiento) y donación de equipamiento y formación (empresas). La conclusión muestra que los agentes no están preparados para realizar logística inversa en la ciudad porque desconocen la importancia del trabajo de los recicladores para iniciar la economía circular en la ciudad. Basado en tecnologías contemporáneas, ha representado un canal emergente para multiplicar las posibilidades de satisfacer demandas en prácticamente todo el planeta. Para poder mejorarlo constantemente, los científicos y directivos se han preocupado por comprender mejor el comportamiento de los compradores online. En este sentido, este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar los factores determinantes del comercio electrónico según aspectos demográficos (frecuencia de compra, ingresos, actividad remunerada, edad y género) de estudiantes universitarios de una institución del Norte de Brasil. Marco teórico: El estudio se basó teóricamente en los factores y variables que determinan el comportamiento de compra del consumidor. Los factores como dimensiones analíticas formaron una arquitectura teórica, cada uno compuesto por sus respectivas variables y categorías de análisis. Diseño/Metodología/Enfoque: El método utilizado fue una encuesta, cuya población estuvo conformada por 51 estudiantes matriculados en el segundo semestre de 2022, de la cual se extrajo una muestra de 47 encuestados, ya que los demás abandonaron las clases. Los datos fueron recogidos mediante un cuestionario con preguntas cerradas, cuya validez fue verificada mediante la prueba alfa de Cronbach de 0,82, considerada muy conforme. Los resultados se generaron mediante la prueba U de Mann-Whitney, ya que el comportamiento de las variables no fue considerado normal por las pruebas de Kolmogorov-Smirnov y Shapiro-Wilkens. The product is a tool aimed at the construction of a specific educational product, the digital portfolio, which is a means of demonstrating and proving learning and reflections during a given process or investigative period. It is also an educational resource that allows communication in an innovative and differentiated way. The intention is to propose a teaching-learning process in which the student is understood as an active subject, stimulated to construct his own learning and his research or knowledge course in a creative and collective way, learning in an autonomous and participative way. In this way, the objective is to demonstrate a teaching and learning process that allows the student to develop new knowledge, identifying new discoveries in a shared educational process, active, constructive and multiplicity, demonstrating learning and reflections materialized in an educational product built through a scientific and technological method (NASCIMENTO-E-SILVA, 2018). The creation of the control panel shown in this material aimed to provide institutions of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) with an easy-to-handle instrument, the correct use of which generates relevant information for the management of school dropout. The method used for the creation of this artifact was scientific-technological, which has two dimensions. The first of these is the scientific dimension, performed from the search for an answer to a research problem, which requires collecting, organizing and analyzing the localized concepts to construct an answer that satisfies the guiding question. The second dimension is the technological, which consists in the creation of an artifact, which must undergo mandatory tests to verify its attributes adequacy and adjustments to improve its performance until it is considered approved for final disclosure to its target audience. The survey of the scientific knowledge necessary for the construction of the product was made through bibliometric research on the managerial and regulatory subjects of college education in Brazil. The results obtained in the scientific sizing were handled for the production of the proposed self-training prototype, submitted to tests in order to verify the quality of its components and functionalities, the possibility of product adoption and indication to undergraduate coordinators. The artifact generated for the professional and technological education is a MOOC (Massive Online Open Course) whose purpose is to provide self-training to college education courses coordinators. It contemplates a didactic sequence for the content Mixture Separation Methods in Chemistry, and establishes relationship with different themes that will be approached in different technical disciplines during the Technical Course of Farming Integrated in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia (IFRO) - Colorado do Oeste Campus. The theme chosen was from a subject present in the students' daily life: the water treatment for the public supply. This decision is supported by the fact that, despite all the technological advances we have experienced in education, teaching is still based on the old traditional trend, in which students are never protagonists in the teaching and learning process. This is a qualitative research, based on the action research method, since the researcher is the class teacher and therefore interested in solving the problem. Data were collected through semi-structured questionnaires and by recording and transcribing information obtained from focus group conversations. It was inferred from the data analysis that the elaboration and application of this didactic sequence contributed to the meaningful learning of the Mixing Separation Methods content and to the students' approach to the Chemistry discipline, which can greatly contribute to an active participation, aware of them in society as citizens and technicians in agriculture.
