The evolution of telecommunications technologies has brought significant transformations to contemporary society, particularly with the advent of fifth-generation mobile networks, known as 5G. This technology promises higher connection speeds, lower latency, and the ability to connect a significantly larger number of devices simultaneously, enabling advancements in solutions such as the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, industrial automation, and real-time connectivity. However, the deployment of 5G in regions with specific geographic and socioeconomic characteristics, such as the city of Manaus-AM, presents technical, logistical, and social challenges that warrant scientific investigation. This study aims to analyze the main factors influencing the implementation of the 5G mobile network in Manaus, considering its current technological infrastructure, the logistical obstacles posed by the Amazon region, the socioeconomic impact of the technology, and the prospects for the development of Industry 4.0 within the Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM). The research adopts a case study methodology with a qualitative and quantitative approach, based on bibliographic review, document analysis, and secondary data collection from sources such as ANATEL, IBGE, ITU, and telecommunications operator reports. The results indicate that, despite recent progress in terms of coverage and spectrum availability, there are still limitations related to fiber optic infrastructure, antenna density, and unequal access in peripheral and riverside areas. Furthermore, the integration of 5G into the local industrial sector still requires substantial investments in modernization and technical training. The study concludes that achieving the full benefits of 5G in Manaus requires coordinated efforts between public policies, operator strategies, and digital inclusion initiatives. This research contributes to the understanding of regional challenges in the deployment of 5G in Brazil and provides insights for more equitable and sustainable technological development strategies.

The Amazon has the largest river basin in the world, with 20% of the planet's freshwater, made up of more than 20,000 km of navigable waterways and with 1/3 of the world's humid tropical forests. The Amazon represents almost 65% of the Brazilian territory. However, the Amazon suffers from serious data communication infrastructure problems, which undermines the level of socioeconomic development in the region. The geographical characteristics of the Amazon favor the means of river transport that serves the transport of cargo and passengers in the region. This work sought to present how the main IoT devices perform in a river environment, applied in the Catalão riverside community. The results showed that the devices have excellent wireless communication in this region of the Rio Negro, although the environment is not the most common application, the results serve as a basis for investment incentives.

There are many programming courses on the market for young people. However, most courses are basic, using software that is not used in the job market and with minimal contente does not prepare the student to work in the market. The objective of this work is to investigate how the maker culture combined with the Xcode development platform can facilitate the teaching-learning processo f programming and prepare students for the job market. As a case study to apply the maker culture in programming teaching, we created a programming course with an active methodology, where in each class the students were proposed the challenge of developing an application with the newly acquired knowledge. Forty first-year high school students from three public schools participated in this course. Then, all students attended a total of 20 classes, in addition to overtime to develop the proposed projects. In the end, 35 students completed the course and developed 19 applications, 12 of which are on the Apple Store, which shows the viability of the proposal.

The automation of industries, residential environments(home automation), common living environments optimizes, facilitates, brings convenience, brings savings, brings efficiency and assertiveness to the environments and processes in which it is applied. Based on the benefits that automation can bring to a variety of processes, including accommodation, this paper describes the development of a way to drive a rolling gate AC motor through an existing automation system in a hotel establishment, used to provide access to the suite's garage. Based on their specific needs, which is to drive the motor through the automation system and not only open it, but also close it, as this was not possible at first. In addition to installing a sensor that can be discreet so that there is no contact with the customer, avoiding accidents such as electric shock and breakage. In order to develop the work, it was necessary to learn how the system works through research on the subject, analysis, observation and practical tests on site. The components and their operation were described in order to find a way of activating the motor without interfering with the normal operation of the system and the motor. An electronic circuit was made using the Easyeda program and a kit for making printed circuit boards, and modifications were made to the stem of the micro switch limit switch to meet the expectations of the establishment. After installing the prototype and the limit switch, practical tests were carried out and the expected results were achieved, bearing in mind that the gate could only be opened by the system and not closed. Since there is no specific related work on the subject, it could be an alternative for driving this automatic rolling gate motor in an automation system described in the paper.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not a contemporary concept, and its presence is not alien to society; currently, numerous applications employ this knowledge. However, despite the growing incorporation of technology in various contexts and increasingly in everyday life, a significant portion of the population still views technological intervention with reservations. In the medical field, it is no different; there is concern about the replacement of healthcare professionals by intelligent machines. Those who think so are mistaken; currently, AI is already involved in various aspects, such as disease prognosis, image understanding, interconnection of prescription databases, among others, and yet there is still a need for human presence. However, such advances do not spread uniformly; there will still be many gaps in the democratization of the application of this resource, whether due to a lack of technology, training, or even distances. In the latter case, it is more common in Brazil, which has continental extensions. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in the last decade, two of the four leading causes of death in the world are related to respiratory diseases. In Brazil, according to the Ministry of Health, in the first nine months of 2022, there were more than 40,000 deaths from pneumonia alone. This work aims to compare machine learning algorithm models to present the pros and cons of each. Neural networks were used to check a dataset of images for training, validation, and testing of models with the purpose of recognizing and diagnosing cases of pneumonia through only X-ray examinations.

Sports considered extreme are differentiated by containing a high risk and adventure. These risks can be low or even risks considered very high. Skydiving, for example, is considered a high-risk sport that is susceptible to interference from weather conditions. Skydiving is a sport that promotes sensations of pleasure as is the case with skydiving. Therefore, this project intends to contribute, through a device, to a better analysis and interpretation of climate changes that occur during the practice of skydiving, before and during the jump. Then, the construction of a control device through the Arduino platform was carried out, integrated to the internet in real time to obtain data and weather conditions. For bibliographic search purposes, the Google Scholar tracker and the electronic addresses of the Brazilian Parachuting Confederation (CBPq) were used as a tool, to complement this work with more information. Based on research and studies carried out, it was found that currently there is no rule or devices used in skydiving schools to help skydiving athletes to recognize the best conditions for jumping. It is pertinent to emphasize the lack of studies and the difficulty encountered in carrying out experimental research within skydiving. Finally, it can be said that a greater participation of professionals in the areas of technology is necessary, aiming at the development and growth of the sport.

The growing demand for data traffic in mobile networks has posed significant performance challenges, especially when users access content hosted on international servers. In this context, 5G technology emerges as an advanced solution capable of increasing efficiency, reducing latency, and optimizing resource utilization. This work aims to analyze how 5G addresses the issue of slow performance in high-traffic situations by leveraging features such as Network Slicing, edge computing, Massive MIMO, and spectrum aggregation. These features enable the creation of dedicated virtual networks, data processing closer to the enduser, and greater bandwidth, even in overload scenarios. The research will be based on simulations and case studies, comparing 5G's performance with previous generations, such as 4G, in terms of latency, capacity, and spectral efficiency. Furthermore, the study will discuss the impacts of this technology in high-density environments and the regulatory challenges associated with spectrum usage. The expected results include a significant improvement in the quality of service, even in high-demand areas, demonstrating the potential of 5G to transform user experience and global telecommunications infrastructure.

Additive Manufacturing entered the market both in the industrial and residential areas very quickly due to its various applications, many of the works that involve this technology, use it as a means to produce parts for a larger project, or in another area, but when we are talking about additive manufacturing using SLA technology, the cost is already a little higher due to the price of the printers themselves, and for the post printing work, there is a process called "Cura" which consists of exposing the object that was printed to a source of ultraviolet light that, when it comes into contact with the surface of the piece, changes its aesthetic and physical aspects, there are machines that carry out this type of process on the market, but they have a high acquisition cost. Faced with this situation, the objective of this work is to develop a prototype of a machine that performs this curing process effectively, and that is made of low-cost electronic equipment and all of its mechanical parts are made only with the use of additive manufacturing. so that its production cost is affordable. Since its great differential will be that all its activation will be done remotely through a Web application, which works on any mobile device regardless of its operating system, the prototype was subjected to several tests for its final validation, the purpose of this project is that it can be inserted in the maker space of the federal institute of amazonas (IFAM) due to its low cost and great effectiveness in the area of additive manufacturing, and that it can arouse the curiosity of the institution's students for the maker culture.

Companies in general, especially metallurgical companies spread throughout Brazil, are increasingly seeking, with the help of technology, to have greater competitiveness in the market. And this directly implies improvement work aimed at eliminating waste, increasing profit and maintaining the quality that the market expects. That said, the present work shows that even processes that have been established for a long time can be improved to the point of being on par with current generation equipment. using low-cost resources, already available, and critical analysis of process improvement by those involved. This work describes the improvement in a robotic spot-welding process in which only 3% of the electrode was used, that is, only 0.3 mm of 9mm of the consumables (electrode CT – 309 (bullet). The aim of the improvement is to change the robot's manual adjustment system to an autonomous adjustment system, thus ensuring the conscious use of its consumables. Petri nets were used to model the system and from this, a prototype was proposed using the ladder language and instruction list as programming. At the end, the metrics of the processes before and after optimization are compared. If before we used 3% of the electrode, after the improvement we achieved the result of 67% use of the electrode, that is, we started to use 6mm of the electrode, keeping only the final 3mm as a safety margin with reference to the manufacturer's recommendation.

Traffic redundancy is crucial to maintain the uninterrupted flow of information, even with failures in specific segments of the network. The project involves analyzing the existing infrastructure, identifying specific needs, planning and implementing the new network architecture, considering technical, operational and security aspects. Floor plans and network topology models will be used to illustrate the project. The expected result is a robust, secure and highly available communication network, which supports the hospital's daily operations and future technological demands, improving the quality of services provided to the population and optimizing hospital care and management.
