Item Etnobotanica em uma comunidade ribeirinha do Careiro Castanho, AM, Brasil(2011-12-12) CHAVES, Mariane Sousa.; DANTAS, Francisco de Matos.; FONTES, Luciana dos Santos.; CHAVES, Raquel Sousa,; KINUPP, Valdely Ferreira,This study aimed to make an ethnobotanical survey in the riverside community of Joarité, city of Careiro Castanho AM, in order to identify the species used in folk medicine, the plant organ used, how to use and therapeutic purposes. A semi-structured questionnaire was applied to residents of the community. We identified 36 plant species, distributed in 25 families, the most cited were: 11% Lamiaceae, Euphorbiaceae and Rutaceae 8% any one. The leave are the most widely used and tea is the most usual way of cooking. The main diseases mentioned were: flu, colic and diarrhea. The study shows that the conventional wisdom regarding the use of plants for medicinal purposes is important, since the riparian take ownership of the plant resources available in their backyards, to treat various diseases, as plants are the main resource of theresidents in the fight diseases.Item Impacto da expansão urbana em área de proteção ambiental – APA do Puraquequara-AM(Instituto Federal do Amazonas, 2015-02-26) Sampaio, Wanderley Souza; Azevedo, Gracilene Fernandes da Costa; Azevedo, Gracilene Fernandes da Costa; Bastos, James F. Fonseca; Lourenço, Francisneide de SousaABSTRACT This paper presents a case study related to the environmental impacts of urban sprawl in areas of environmental protection. The objective was to analyze the environmental changes caused in the Environmental Protection Area of Puraquequara - AM. The study was conducted in the neighborhood of Puraquequara in 5 communities (Bela Vista, John Paul, St. Francis Maina, Coast Tabocal and Vila do Puaraquequara). To collect the data was used as the case study method, with the application of semi-structured interviews technique to facilitate the creation of an open, where the interviewee is expressed freely. In total 30 families were interviewed, and only one person per household was interviewed. Then was also a questionnaire containing the following: 1 - socioeconomic, 2 - environmental and 3 - protected and development area. In general, the results obtained in this study indicated the presence of different factors, such as lack of knowledge and information of the residents in relation to the conservation of natural resources in the study area. It was observed that the respondents, 100% is considered important Puraquequara the Environmental Protection Area for communities, however, only 10% of respondents have knowledge about the contents of the legislation governing the sustainable use conservation units. We conclude that because the urban and population growth, there are several environmental problems, mainly caused by the changes in the landscape and the reduction of vegetation cover or pollution and \ or siltation of streams. Therefore, from the results obtained in this study, we suggest the implementation of programs for reforestation and environmental education of residents of the APA, so that all are aware of the importance of preservation and conservation of natural resources in the area. Environment.Item Caracterização dos agroecossistema em um assentamento de reforma agrária no amazonas: possibilidades de mudança no modelo de produção.(Instituto Federal do Amazonas, 2015-04-06) Arcos, Adria Manuelly Pires; Lourenço, Francisneide de Sousa; Lourenço, José Nestor de Paula; Lourenço, Francisneide de SousaABSTRACT This work was carried out in the settlement of the Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA) named Sustainable Development Project (PDS) New hope in Iranduba-AM municipality, and analyzed impacts of conventional agriculture adopted by the family of the settlement farmers in order to contribute to change unsustainable farming practices towards adoption of techniques and less degrading practices of the environment and human health. The project comprises a larger project of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA Western Amazon), called Agro-ecological transition and had among other data collection activities through Participatory workshops for development of a Participatory Rural Appraisal - PRA, which made possible a "portrait "the local reality and facilitated planning of actions to be developed with the settlers, to reverse damage caused by the adopted agricultural model. Through the DRP can evaluate the settlement faces many difficulties as fragile social organization, problem of water shortage, and poor land use, lack of transportation and internal conflicts generated by the lack of nesting mode where they live and account of the historical process of occupation of the settlement area. Among the actions of the project, we collect soil for analysis, organic fertilization courses, composting, bio-fertilizers and green manure and planting fertilizing plants. The main purpose of this project was to implement 18 areas of agroforestry systems (SAFs) of 1.200 m² and theoretical and practical workshops. The main cultures were banana and pineapple, other species were added into the planting with tillage of seeds, including short-cycle species, which were sold in the single organic fair in Manaus, organized by the Organic Producers Association of Amazonas (APOAM). Along with MUSA technicians, the plantation activities were carried out with team work, allowing farmers to meet weekly, promoting social strengthening of the unit.Item Organização do controle social (OCS): da criação à comercialização de produtos orgânicos e estudo de caso da associação de produtores orgânicos do Amazonas (apoam)(Instituto Federal do Amazonas, 2017-11-29) Soares, Raiany Barbosa; Soares, José Edison Carvalho; Ramos, Thelma Lima da Cunha; Caniato, Matheus MirandaThe present work presents a research with the objective of identifying factors that hinder or potentiate organic products recognized by means of the declaration of organic products linked to the public entity in the modality Organization of Social Control (OCS) adopted by the Association of Organic Producers of Amazonas ( APOAM); the descriptive methodology and the approach was done through questionnaires with questions with degree of agreement and open questions, divided in two blocks destined to the associates producers and clients of the fair of organic products. The results treated and discussed, presented results from the point of the associates producers need to intensify their actions to mitigate the difficulties to increase the partnerships to leverage the activities inherent to the recognition requirements of the activity; of the block destined to the customers, regarding the commercialization of APOAM needs to intensify actions both to increase production and to seek to identify its products to meet the desires of its customers. Organization of Social Control.Item Espécies de uso medicinal comercializadas em duas feiras de Manaus-AM(Instituto Federal do Amazonas, 2018-05-19) Pinheiro, Kennady Tandy Justino da Silva; Palheta, Rosana Antunes; Silva, Simão Correa da; Caramês, Ricardo Felipe de SouzaThe present research consists of a qualitative and quantitative ethnobotanical survey of the medicinal plants sold in two fairs in Manaus, the Panair Municipal Fair and the Adolpho Lisboa Municipal Market. The species, families, use and chemical compounds, therapeutic indications were verified valuing the empirical knowledge acquired from the sellers and their life histories, in addition to the socioeconomic profile. The survey showed that 34 dehydrated species were distributed in (22 families), the plants were sold dry and used as medicine. The families of the most cited species were Fabaceae with 7 representatives, Lamiaceae with 4, Apocynaceae with 3 and verbenaceae with 2, the other families presented only one species. The objective of this study was to describe the chemical composition of each species mentioned by the sellers, together with the literature, showing that the plants present a great diversity of phytochemicals with potential to be used in pharmacological preparations with possible health benefits. phytochemicals (saponins, vitamin C, phenolic compounds among others), the most commercialized species of plants that were searched by the city of Manaus were also evaluated. Este trabajo se desdobló en recorrer los escritos etnográficos, buscando relatos acerca del oficio cerâmico entre estos individuos. Adentró en el universo cultural Baniwa, por el sesgo de la antropología del arte y se permitió discutir conceptos de cultura y identidad. It reviews the contribution of some authors and is based on the research on recognition policy in the municipal education network of Manaus. Its target audience are people with disabilities and the relation between public policy and identities. Thus, identity in the contemporary scenario represents a process of continuous construction, which can be negotiable and revocable throughout life, and which depends on the choices we make and the context of a social group. In its quest to build inclusive educational systems/groups, the National Special Education Policy in the Inclusive Education Perspective of 2008 presents inclusive education as a political, cultural, social and pedagogical action, unleashed in defense of the right of all students to learn and participate together, without any kind of discrimination. Therefore, this policy seeks to overcome not only barriers to the promotion, participation and learning, but also the autonomy of Special Education students. This study, which has like inspecting agents on the LGBT thematic in UFAM, in which the main challenge to the inspectors in the UFAM presents the incentive to the production on a thematic, besides other factors that are the same As we can However, it is possible to envisage a growing field of production and with the aim of differentiating the levels of our society, political, social, cultural, economic and scientific, making possible new strategies and new ones. scientific productions in the context of therapy with social people capable of reflecting issues that affect everyday life and which directly affect LGBT people.Item Comunidade Sateré-Mawé: registro do conhecimento etnobotânico e simbólico de espécies nativas na comunidade Sahu-Apé, em Iranduba_Am.(2018-08-14) Mariano, Janaina.; Ramos, Thelma.Ethnobotany contributes to the scientific knowledge of plant species, and its study also focuses on the transformation of the knowledge provided by informants to their own community. Being used as a tool for the rescue of traditional knowledge, as well as the cultural values of the peoples studied. The subjects of this research are families living in the Sahu-Apé community, Am 070, district of Iranduba-Am. In the 1960s and 1970s, these families left their lands in Andirá Marau in search of better education and work conditions. The aim of this research was to describe the ethnobotanical classification of native species, recognizing its different uses represented in the indigenous knowledge of the Sateré-Mawé People culture, making possible the enrichment of the IFAM / CMZL Herbarium. The research was developed in a qualitative-quantitative research approach, allowing greater interaction between the research subjects and the researcher, as well as the systematization of the ethnobotanical and symbolic classification of the species use. In addition, questionnaires of open and closed questions were used. data collect. Twelve species of native plants used by the Sateré for medicinal, food and handicraft purposes were registered. Among the main collections, the most symbolic value for the Sateré-Mawé was guaraná (Paullínia cupana), a symbol of their culture. Other species such as andiroba (Carapa guianensis), jará (Leopoldinia pulchra) and cumaru (Dipteryx odorata) were also recorded. These records show that despite the migrations of Sateré-Mawé Indians to other regions and their continued contact with urbanization, their traditional knowledge about plants has not been forgotten and the use of native species is still present in their culture.Item Reflexões sobre política de educação escolar indígena no Município de Manaus(2018-11-05) Lima, Maria do Carmo Gonzaga de; Maximiano, Claudina Azevedo; Maximiano, Claudina Azevedo; Rubim, Altaci Corrêa; Pereira, DenisThe issue of indigenous school education is a theme that presents itself as a challenge in the line of public policies in the Brazilian context. This article aims to analyze this theme with reference to the Education Department of the Municipality of Manaus (SEMED), through the Management of Indigenous School Education (GEEI). We emphasize throughout the text the effective participation of the Indigenous Movement in Manaus, articulated from the villages and indigenous communities, as protagonists in the process of implementing the policy of indigenous school education in the municipality. In the text we highlight the institutionalization of indigenous school education through the creation of the GEEI within the scope of SEMED, as well as the creation of the categories "Indigenous School", "Indigenous Teacher" and "Municipal Center of Indigenous School Education".Item A contribuição da ação Saberes Indígenas na escola para o povo Kokama em Manaus O 'olhar' de uma professora Indígena na comunidade Nova Esperança(2018-11-05) Carvalho, Luiz Rodrigues Menezes de; Pereira, Denis da Silva; Pereira, Denis da Silva; Silva, Ricardo Lima da; Maximiano, Claudina AzevedoThis article presents some reflections about the role of public policy SIE (Indigenous Knowledge in School), based on the perspective of teacher Kokama who works in the Nova Esperança community in the city of Manaus. The objective of this work was to verify the contribution of SIE in the improvement of indigenous school education of the Kokama people. This action seeks to promote the continuing education of indigenous school education teachers, especially those who work in the initial series of basic education in indigenous schools. This project offers didactic and pedagogical resources that meet the specificities of the community organization. The present text expresses the process of re - signification, of reorientation that this action provided in the pedagogical practice of teachers towards intercultural education, especially to the context of the Kokama community - New Hope. Understanding the conditions of older women regarding sex and sexuality, considering the socio-cultural context of machismo and prejudices in relation to gender "Social Papers". Study conducted at the State Center for the Coexistence of the Elderly (CECI) Aparecida-Am 2014. Having as social agents six women between the ages of sixty and eighty, who are members of the elderly 's cohabitation center and participants in the Iucanas Toribas photo essay. To this end, the general objective of analyzing Social Technologies in the work of Sateré-Mawé indigenous women and their contribution to empowerment and emancipation, and the specific objectives were identified: to identify Social Technologies in women's work; and, characterize social technologies in the work of indigenous women. In order to reach the objectives proposed by the research of this work, the methodology used was the case study with a qualitative approach supported by the use of form with open and closed questions, semi-structured interviews, field research, field diary, photographic record. The research developed in three phases: phase I: elaboration of the theoretical reference; phase II: technical visit to know the research locus, signature of the Instrument of Consent by the community leader; phase III: systematization, codification and tabulation of the collected data. The relevance of this research will provide knowledge acquisition for the improvement of TSs used by indigenous women to improve income generation through the enhancement of existing TSs, as well as for the formation of qualified subsidies that aim at a sustainable transformation of socio-environmental reality in the Sateré-Mawé indigenous women's labor camp, because it is recognized as a locus for the development of innovative social technologies and their social inclusion.Item Desenvolvimento do bem viver junto aos povos tradicionais.(2018-11-05) Gilonna Junior, Roberto.; Souza, José Eurico Ramos de.; Souza, José Eurico Ramos de.; Souza, Dalmir Pacheco de.; Santos, Elcilcei Faria dos.In this Work of Conclusion of the Specialization Course in Development, Ethnicity and Public Policies, the objective was to analyze the indicators of Human Welfare from the perspective of the Well Living of traditional peoples. Therefore, the research was qualitative exploratory, using the method of bibliographic review with scientific articles, books and e-books that allow us to support the relationship between development and good living. Do a reading of the alternatives and which horizon is evident. A sample of this is in the Well-Being Indicators for Traditional Peoples, supported by the surnames given to development and indices, linking axiological needs with existential needs. The results point to concerns shared by social justice and social equality when the axiological and existential needs intersect, for the construction of the thinking regarding the Good Living of traditional peoples. This work suggests reflections on the natural laws and physical-human laws that are changing in an attempt to bring a healthier and more friendly living relationship to traditional peoples.Item O Exército na fronteira brasileira: As perspectivas do Indígena Soldado no Alto Rio Negro-AM(2018-11-05) Taita, Robson; Ramos, Thelma de Lima da Cunha; Ramos, Thelma de Lima da Cunha; Silva, Alvatir Carolino; Lima, Maria Francisca Moraes deThe article aims to analyze the actions of the Brazilian Army in the Indigenous Communities of the Upper Rio Negro in the Brazilian Amazon. Punctuating the actions of the daily between the natives and the military in the region. Weber (1946) with his honor-value action and the traditional one, and Faria (2003) on the territory and indigenous territories of the Upper Rio Negro, and Silva (2016) with his analysis on the military family in a frontier platoon, punctuating at various moments the conflicts and agreements between military and indigenous people. We thus aim to understand the actions of both the military and the indigenous in and around the Military Organizations. The military obeying the military doctrine, and the indigenous communities with their intrinsic actions, belonging to the indigenous peoples of the region. The methodology is carried out through the bibliographical research, from material already published. Emphasizing the Upper Rio Negro in São Gabriel da Cachoeira-Am. We sought to analyze the justifications of both the Brazilian State and indigenous leaders in relation to the demarcation of lands, daily life in and around communities, and the insertion of indigenous frontier soldiers and their difficulties. The justification of the Brazilian State is to treat indigenous issues on Brazilian soil as a matter of national security, regarding the demarcation of indigenous lands of the Upper Rio Negro, thus seeking to regulate the daily life of the military and indigenous people through an ordinance with rules of conduct and respect adversities of indigenous peoples. The indigenous leaders of the Alto Rio Negro justify that the demarcation of indigenous lands should be continuous, aiming at the protection of their material and immaterial goods, as opposed to the Brazilian State, which aims to bring citizenship to these indigenous peoples, with health , education, leisure, which according to Faria (2003) this act has often characterized the traditions of the indigenous communities of the Upper Rio Negro.Item A contribuição de tecnologias sociais de base Agroecológica: Replicação de um tanque de evapotranspiração para tratamento domiciliar de águas negras na comunidade indígena Moyray no município de Autazes-Am(2019-03-01) Souza, Paulo Miléo; Souza, Leonardo Moura de; Lima, Cristiane Cavalcante; Lima, Cristiane Cavalcante; Nina, Nailson Celso da Silva; Silva, Simão Correa daThis graduation project originated from an extension project that was developed in the Moyray indigenous community, Autazes-AM municipality, through the demand of some community members who realized the deficiency in the sanitation issue in their region and looked for alternatives to the local problems with professors of IFAM Campus Manaus Zona Leste. The actions proposed by this work had as objective to sensitize the inhabitants of the indigenous Moyray community for the adoption of technologies of alternative treatment of sanitary waste as a way to reduce environmental contamination. The developed research was characterized as field research and case study, being used as instrument to semi-structured interviews and participant research. The work was carried out using the following methodological procedures: a) initial application of the semi-structured interview, which addressed topics such as sanitation, waste disposal, sanitation and health; b) lecture on environmental sanitation and social technologies; c) realization of a workshop for the construction of the evapotranspiration tank and d) application (again) of semi-structured interview, with the purpose of evaluating the subjects' understanding after the actions performed. As a result, community awareness was promoted through lectures, and with the workshop, they learned in practice to build an evapotranspiration tank, so that all participants are able to be multipliers of this technology in their properties and / or other communities. With the application of the interviews, it was previously observed the evolution of the knowledge of the community about the subjects addressed, considering that in the first moment it was verified that they did not have dominion on these subjects.Item Patrimônio material e imaterial: Memórias do povo da etnia Mura em comunidades indígenas do município de Autazes - AM(2019-03-11) Silva, Amanda Moreira da; Passos, Maria das Graças Serudo; Costa Neto, Antônio Ribeiro da; Costa Neto, Antônio Ribeiro da; Silva, Ana Cassia; Fernandes, Rinaldo SenaHistorically, the Mura were people who migrated to the indigenous regions, inhabiting long-range areas of the communities of the river Madeira, indigenous lands or cities, which protected the policy of including their people in Autazenses lands. The Cultural Heritage is related to the history and memory of a village, and has references that symbolize a cultural heritage associated with the recognition of our history. The present research has as a record a memory of a population as the concern of the Mura Ethnicity and its reflections on its beliefs, knowledge and its ways of doing and being. The work was carried out in the indigenous Moyray community, where indigenous people from various communities of the municipality of Autazes were present. The methodological proposal is based on the descriptive research, with the use of techniques of data collection with semistructured questionnaires. Among the results, they were observed in their own domain to the detriment of the communities that were located farther from the urban centers, besides a greater valorization of some of their costumes. The reconstitution of the history of the people, the good part of the young, the revelation of the tales, testimonies and testimonies of the elders. The importance for this people maintains a tradition of oral transmission of knowledge between generations for the forgetfulness of the memories
