According to Fey and Gauer (2014), structured cabling arose due to the need to organize the installations of computer networks at the end of the 1980s. Over the years telecommunications systems has been consolidating as an important business component since, to have competitiveness and productivity, and a reliable structure with minimum possible failures is required. This work is about a case study in a structured cabling system already installed and in operation, of a small building located in the Campus Manaus Industrial District (CMDI) of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM). The study was based on the ABNT NBR 14565: 2013 standard, in order to analyze if the system approached followed the guidelines contained in the standard. In order to reach this objective, the following methodology was used: bibliographic review of technical norms and related bibliographies, field research to collect information, and finally to evaluate if the information obtained meets what is determined in the standard. In this context, after the on-site survey and with the information obtained, a diagram was developed with all the hardware located in the Equipment Room; were identified, quantified and mapped in plants low Telecommunication Outlets (TO), as well as verified the operation of each. With this it was possible to conclude that there are some aspects in the structured cabling system that do not conform to the norm in question.

Logistic transport is an extremely important factor that moves a large portion of the population daily, thinking about it companies began to invest in different strategies to take passengers to their desired locations in the best way, using the most current technology, developing applications that integrate drivers and passengers. This opportunity generated income for people, and at the same time proved to be a new way of getting around in addition to public transport. With that in mind, this work was developed seeking to better detail the costs that a person has when providing this transport service, using their own or rented vehicles, in the city of Manaus - Am this means of mobility proved to be quite effective even with the lack of infrastructure is fuel with sky-high prices. It was possible to analyze that the drivers did not pay attention to other costs of this transport, so through this research the costs and the real profit margin were identified. As a result, this work guides the driver before making any trip to calculate his expenses based on the km that will be traveled, in this way it is necessary to understand what the expenses are so that profit can be obtained with this form of work

In the logistics of distribution of goods, it is common to outsource some processes of this chain of companies. The present research aims to analyze the challenges of the outsourced transport of Manaus for the distribution of goods of goods and inputs of the companies of Manaus (PIN). For the study, the freight costs of a service company were obtained based on the asset-based cost method and distributed in the various cost drivers that a third party has. The methodology used is explanatory research regarding its objective, a case study regarding the procedures and the approach to the problem. the collection of data of direct labor and costs involved in the acquisition and maintenance of the company of the vehicle used, through the maintenance of the company, and its own, added to the cost of compensation of the capital, the cost of the kilometer traveled of the own fleet. Based on this calculation, the outsourcing point of viability of outsourcing of goods and the challenges in the transport sector for Manaus are based. Based on the value of the price paid to the largest outsourced workers, it was concluded that their challenge to maintain this activity for any and all distribution routes in the Industrial District of Manaus, costs.

This research aims to demonstrate the value of the role of leadership in the administrative environment for carrying out logistical planning. A bibliographical review was applied, through books, articles and case studies, with the aim of observing the concepts, analysis of types of leadership, the attributes of a leader, the essence of planning in addition to examining logistical planning, with the purpose of ratifying the importance of building a leader's personality through virtues essential to the function of authority. The concepts and ideas discussed on the topic were quite diverse and extensive, which enabled a broad interpretation of the result of what leadership actually is, but the perception that leadership is leading people to the objective can be used as a starting point. common and that leadership styles affect the group dynamics of a company. Therefore, this scientific study, through bibliographical references, demonstrated how leadership is fundamental for the elaboration and implementation of planning through the personality of a leader, the understanding that leadership and the types that exist but also bringing the details of logistical planning to be evaluated at each step of the process, as those who help with discernment and guide employees to carry out the project are their managers who take on the responsibility of guiding their employees acting as mentors.

Cargo transport is essential for the development of industry and Brazilian economy, because of this it is one of the biggest costs we have in the entire logistics chain, whatever the material being transported. The present work seeks to study the entire cost of transport, storage and retail costs of cassava flour. Seeking to understand through the study of processes and understand every detail of the costs necessary for cassava flour to reach the retailer. For this analysis, we had an interview with the coordinator of the association. And as a result, the final values of the cost per Kg of cassava flour were found, thus allowing an even greater sense of the profits and expenses that are made to the entire chain of cassava flour.

The research entitled: “Impacts of Drought on Transport Logistics in Amazonas in 2024: challenges of access to Consumer Goods by the riverside population around BR-319” analyzes how drought affects transport logistics and, consequently, access to goods essential for residents and users of BR-319. Through a mixed approach, which includes bibliographical and field research, an investigation reveals that the reduction in river levels requires navigation and makes transport more expensive, resulting in significant losses for the population of the region. The data obtained from the respondents highlights the difficulties faced, such as the increase in product costs and the scarcity of food, aggravated by two aspects: the collapse of the bridges connecting BR-319 to Manaus in 2022 and which, as of today, 2024 has not yet was concerted and the evidence of the worst drought in the State of Amazonas in 2024 shows the urgent need for solutions. As a proposal, two alternatives are suggested: The creation of a cooperative of ferries and small boats, made up of community members, to mitigate the social impacts of the drought and guarantee the continuous transport of goods and services. The research not only understands the problem, but also presents viable alternatives that promote adaptation and sustainable development in the Amazon region.As a second alternative, I present the construction of a new bridge connecting the municipalities of Bela – Vista and Manaquiri. The bridge infrastructure would also contribute to the creation of new business and business opportunities, benefiting the local population. It would play an important role in the stability of riverside communities, especially during seasonal climate adversities, such as drought.

The city of Manaus is a powerful industrial and economic center in the North region and faces significant environmental challenges. In this context, this research analyzes the importance of electronics reverse logistics as a strategy for sustainable development. The main objective of this research was to describe the importance of electronics reverse logistics in Manaus, aiming to reduce environmental impact, promote sustainability and strengthen the circular economy in the region. The methodology used was defined as bibliographic, exploratory, applied, qualitative and there was also the application of a questionnaire with semi-structured questions on Google Forms that reached six respondents. The main result was identified that the majority of companies that participated in the interview have a structure that varies between small and medium size, not all of them have a reverse logistics program for electronic waste in their companies. These companies that have this program were able to answer what the objective of reverse logistics is, as well as the main benefits, how much it impacted, what challenges, expectations regarding logistics in the coming years, suggestions for improvements and those who do not have the program were able to inform whether they consider investing and how geographic location affects reverse logistics. It is concluded that electronics reverse logistics in Manaus emerges as a crucial component for the sustainable development of the city, considering the economic relevance of the Free Trade Zone and its role in the Brazilian industrial scenario.

This study aimed to understand the impact of the covid 19 pandemic on electronic commerce (e-commerce) sales, as well as to identify and describe the main aspects and changes in e-commerce during the period established in the research (2017 to 2022), which corresponds to before, during and after the pandemic. For this purpose, bibliographical and experimental research was used for data collection, through the content raised in the theoretical framework to expose oneself about the role, challenges and trends for the modality. Based on data analysis, a comparison of e-commerce revenues can be made in each scenario, and obstacles and opportunities can be listed. With the pandemic, they experienced new situations and problems, which required a logistical strategy from merchants who had ambitions to grow, reinvent or simply avoid losses and bankruptcy. Finally, through the study carried out and applied, it was possible to understand how the covid 19 pandemic influenced the growth of e-commerce.

The efficiency of cargo transportation is essential for the operating results of companies, especially in the field of logistics. This study proposed the identification of the difficulties of student public transport and alternative transport presented by students who attend the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, Campus Manaus Distrito Industrial (IFAM-CMDI). Using a bibliographic review method and personal interview through a questionnaire available via the internet. The bibliographic review aimed to identify concepts, theories and studies related to the topic, while the personal interview consisted of analyzing the study location, to identify day-to-day problems and failures regarding student public transport. It was also observed a lack of knowledge about the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988 regarding education, where student school transport is a duty of the State and guarantees the student's access and permanence in the school environment. Proposing logistical means, transport alternatives for students and confirming that good management of transport logistics reduces costs and contributes to the continuous improvement of the quality of teaching for students.

It is known that in the city of Manaus there is an appropriate disposal for batteries, batteries and fluorescent lamps, and the city does not have efficient plans for it. The present study aims to present how the discarded batteries are made in Amazonas Shopping stores and to demonstrate an analysis of the results. It is a qualitative-quantitative study, the quantitative one with the objective of presenting data, 9 indicators and trends and the qualitative analyze and identify data that can not be measured numerically. The hypothesis was tested: the research shops had correct discard of batteries and how these discards are made, for that were analyzed 4 stores of the electronics and comparative branch. Data were collected through a questionnaire containing questions related to the quantity of cell phones sold per month, battery collection and reverse logistics. The results found in the present study indicate that the lack of information and investment by stores in training their employees in relation to reverse logistics prevents them from passing on the necessary information to an appropriate disposal. The conclusion shows that the stores of Amazonas Shopping, of the 4 where the questionnaire was applied, 3have a disposal of cell phone batteries, but not as the law 12.305 / 10 establishes how it should be done.

The study investigates the implementation of reverse logistics in the production of aluminum cookware at the MDM factory in Manaus, with the aim of recapturing value and ensuring the proper disposal of waste. The aim is to understand how reverse logistics is applied in the manufacture of cookware and kitchen utensils, using recycled aluminum discs as raw material. The methodology included visits to the factory, documentary research and the application of Likert Scale forms to employees and the owner. The results showed a high level of appreciation for reverse logistics practices by employees and recognition of the environmental and economic benefits, with a SWOT analysis highlighting strengths such as commitment to sustainability and efficiency in aluminum recycling, as well as identifying operational challenges, partnership opportunities and regulatory threats. The conclusion is that reverse logistics at MDM promotes environmental sustainability and generates economic benefits, in line with the demands for sustainable business practices. The laws and regulations analyzed reinforce the importance of public policies to promote these practices and foster a more circular and resilient economy.

This study takes an approach to the process of applying reverse logistics in the cardboard production stages until its final stage, which is packaging for eggs to be inserted until final sale in markets and fairs. All production will be carried out at association Recicla Manaus. Reverse logistics involves the return of products for sale, going through the raw material sorting process until the final stage of the process, where there is a new product for sale in commerce. The association Recycle Manaus does reverse logistics work to produce egg shapes with cardboard recycling. Visits were made to the association, and data such as photos and questions were collected from recycling collectors in order to answer the research questionnaire. The SWOT analysis of association Recycle Manaus reveals a series of strengths, such as cost reduction and improved corporate image, in addition to effective collaborations with local collectors. However, there are significant challenges, such as inadequate infrastructure and the need for greater awareness among collectors. Opportunities include the growing demand for recycled materials and the possibility of improving recycling processes, while threats involve regulatory changes and competition in the sector. It is concluded that reverse logistics at Manaus contributes to environmental sustainability and offers economic advantages, in line with the demand for sustainable business practices. This analysis allows a clear understanding of the internal and external factors that affect cardboard recycling in the association, standing out of success and identifying areas for improvement.

This study addressed the inclusion of people with disabilities (PwD) in the labor market, using bibliographic review methods and a visual approach. The bibliographic review aimed to identify theories, concepts and studies related to the theme, while the visual approach consisted of analyzing the stock and work environment to identify problems and failures of everyday life. The results of the visual analysis were compared with the answers obtained in interviews with those responsible for the stock and sector under study. Qualitative analysis was conducted through SWOT analysis, which identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to the implementation of inclusive logistics. Highlighted strengths included adapting infrastructure and training professionals, while weaknesses pointed to lack of awareness and resistance to change. Opportunities were identified in government inclusion policies and the demand for inclusive products and services, while threats included discrimination and lack of investment. Based on the results, it was concluded that inclusive logistics plays a crucial role in the inclusion of PwD in the labor market. However, a lack of knowledge about inclusion legislation and barriers faced in the work environment was also observed. Therefore, it is necessary to promote awareness and expand knowledge about the importance of inclusion and equal opportunities. In summary, this project used literature review methods and a visual approach to analyze the inclusion of PwD in the labor market and inventory control in logistics. The results highlighted the importance of awareness and knowledge to achieve inclusion and equal opportunities.

Inventories are of paramount importance for the retail trade since it is in them where the products are to meet the demand of its customers. In this way, inventories directly affect business goals. In order for inventory management to be effective, it is necessary to have good planning and control of product supplies from inventories. Since in inventories, as they present active assets of the companies, they need procedural policies to carry out actions that occur in them. Thus, the objective of this study is to understand how the planning and control of stock supply is carried out in a company that sells technology-oriented goods and services. The study will consider not only theoretical concepts based on studies by other authors on what planning and control means, but also concepts of analysis of stock supplies that must be considered for decision making. Prior knowledge of these concepts, therefore, helped to understand the actions taken by the supply logistics managers of the company studied regarding the supply of stocks from the organization's branches that are located throughout Manaus.
Processo de controle e armazenagem dos fármacos em um órgão público de distribuição de medicamentos em Manaus -AM

In order to maintain the optimal standard of medicines, it is well known that an appropriate condition of storage, distribution and transport is of paramount importance. This research aims to analyze the drug storage processes in the Manaus-Am drug center and identify the main structure of the service, thus highlighting the stages of medicine distributor pharmaceutical assistance cycle which includes receiving, storing, distributing and dispensing the products. medicines. This is exploratory research, it is a case study as it analyzes the aspects of the storage and distribution processes at the drug distribution center. Data collection took place through bibliographic research and interview with open questions, observation and an inspection script which will address the issues related to the acquisition, storage and distribution of medicines. The results were analyzed in two steps: storage and distribution. The results show that although internal storage processes are well managed, it needs to expedite the dispensing of medicines. To make the delivery of drugs feasible, a decentralization process in the distribution of medicines would minimize the delay in care, since patients would be treated in various parts of the state.
