Item Lixo eletrônico nossa responsabilidade: uma oficina pedagógica para cursos técnicos em Informática da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT)(2024-02-07) Oliveira, Fernanda Miranda de; Marques, Jean Dalmo de OliveiraThere are several sources of electronic waste, including homes, companies and governments. This type of solid waste can contain precious metals such as gold, copper and nickel, as well as rare materials such as indium and palladium, and toxic substances such as heavy metals. Many of these materials can be recovered, recycled and reinserted into the production chain to manufacture new products. Inadequate disposal of electronic waste degrades the environment and harms the health of the population, due to the presence of heavy metals in the components of electronic boards, used in the manufacture of computers, cell phones, televisions, batteries, printers, among other electronic devices. . In Brazil, there are specific laws, decrees and resolutions for the management of this solid waste, aiming to mitigate environmental impacts and, consequently, risks to human health. In this context, the need to improve teaching on the topic of electronic waste in the technical computer course of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) becomes evident. The lack of teaching material that helps teachers to address the topic in the classroom, the theoretical and practical limitations of teaching strategies, the lack of knowledge among students and teachers regarding legislation, decrees, resolutions and standards that govern correct waste management electronic waste, as well as the chemical composition of this solid waste, are factors that reinforce this need. Understanding the potential environmental impacts of electronic waste and how to manage it effectively is essential for complete training. This pedagogical workshop aims to be a teaching resource to assist teachers in teaching the topic of electronic waste in EPT technical courses in the IT segment.Item Inclusão de alunos surdos na educação profissional e tecnológica: a comunicação em Libras entre discentes ouvintes e discentes surdos do ensino médio integrado do IFAM/CMC(2024-10-17) Alves, Edilson Gomes; Silva, Cirlande Cabral da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3405754239635541; Silva, Cirlande Cabral da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3405754239635541; Lima, Maria Francisca Morais de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5134533993186051; Araújo, Mônica Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5538217836402363This master's research arose during my experience as a professor in the teacher training programs at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM), Manaus Centro Campus (CMC), when I encountered the inclusion of deaf students regarding the communication that occurred between deaf students and hearing students at the school. This experience was further shaped by the doubts and concerns expressed by fellow educators and also by integrated high school teachers. Thus, the objective of this investigation was to understand how communication in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) occurs between hearing students and deaf students in the integrated high school at IFAM CMC. The research is structured into three chapters with the following sections: Chapter 1. Special education and the inclusion of people with disabilities, which contains three subsections: 2.1 - Legal foundations for the inclusion of people with disabilities; 2.2 - Paradigms for the inclusion of people with disabilities; and 2.3 - The inclusion of students with disabilities in the school environment. Chapter 2. Specific education for deaf students in professional and technological education, divided into three subsections: 3.1 - Legal foundations concerning Brazilian Sign Language (Libras); 3.2 - Communicational aspects of Libras; and 3.3 - Myths and curiosities about Libras. Chapter 3. The use of assistive technology for the deaf, including subsection 4.1 - Applications or tools for translation and interpretation to facilitate communication, which unfolds into seven tertiary sections: 4.1.1 – Hand Talk; 4.1.2 – Primeira Mão; 4.1.3 – Instant transcription; 4.1.4 – AVA: valuing communication; 4.1.5 – V Libras; 4.1.6 – Communication Mediation Center (CIC); and 4.1.7 – The ICOM. To achieve this, we chose to conduct a qualitative study through a case study at the Federal Institute of Amazonas, Manaus Centro Campus (IFAM CMC). The target population for this investigation will be the deaf students of the integrated high school, their teachers, educators, and Libras interpreters. The data collection instruments we will use include interviews, observation, questionnaires, and field diaries. For data analysis, we will use Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD). The outcome of this research will be an Educational Product - a Manual of Communication in Libras: Eyes that see, hands that speak. The proposal is to present to the school community of the regular education system a Libras manual with basic notions and tips on how to communicate with deaf students, aiming to facilitate communication among hearing students, deaf students, teachers of deaf students, and educators who maintain contact with everyone. Additionally, it will serve as support to facilitate the school inclusion of deaf students, as the Educational Product can be utilized in various sectors of the institution, contributing to basic communicational accessibility between the personnel in the sector and the deaf student.Item Lixo eletrônico: o meu e o seu – e agora! como proceder em sala de aula?(2024-02-07) Oliveira, Fernanda Miranda de; Marques, Jean Dalmo de Oliveira; Marques, Jean Dalmo de Oliveira; Azevedo, Rosa Oliveira Marins; Fernandes, Afonso FonsecaIn 2019 alone, Brazil discarded more than 2 million tons of electronic waste, of which less than 3% was recycled. The country is one of the leaders in the ranking in the production of electronic waste, occupying fifth position worldwide and first in Latin America. The School System performs fundamental role in society, as a space for the dissemination of knowledge, and as an environment for the development of critical and conscious thinking about current issues. In this context, the importance of improving teaching on the subject of electronic waste in courses aimed at training IT technicians stands out. The Factors that reinforce this need are evident: the lack of teaching material that helps teachers address the topic in the classroom; the theoretical and practical limitation of teaching strategies; the lack of knowledge among students and teachers regarding legislation, decrees, resolutions, and standards that govern the correct management of electronic waste; and, also, the chemical composition of this solid waste are factors that reinforce this need. Understanding the potential environmental impacts of electronic waste and how to manage it effectively is essential for complete professional training. Therefore, with this research, we sought to answer the following question: How to approach the topic of electronic waste with students on the technical course in IT education and technology in order to make them professionals aware of their environmental responsibilities? In this context the general objective of this study was to plan and implement a participatory pedagogical workshop on the topic of electronic waste in the IT Technician course in Professional and Technological Education. The work was developed at the Professional and Technological Education Unit of the Amazonas Technological Education Center in the Benjamin Constant Institute building. The research subjects were 24 students from the High School Technical Course in IT in Professional and Technological Education. The action research procedure with a qualitative focus was used. We held a pedagogical workshop organized into four Modules, the last module being an exhibition of electronic waste paintings produced by students. Data collection took place through the application of questionnaires. The results indicate that the pedagogical workshop was effective in expanding students' knowledge on the topic of electronic waste. They are now more aware of proper disposal options, the need for awareness and information, and the importance of correctly managing e-waste.Item Ética nos ambientes virtuais no contexto da educação profissional e tecnológica de nível médio(2023-10-31) Menezes, Elano da Silva de; Szatkoski, Elenice; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4308298499020242; Szatkoski, Elenice; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4308298499020242; Sousa, Jeanne Moreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3452575521411050; Guerra, Luiz AntônioThis study is situated within Research Line 2 of ProfEPT, which focuses on the "Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (PTE)." This qualitative research aims to analyze how Elementary School Teachers are being prepared to take on the important role of evaluators. For that, we need to discuss and reflect on the Evaluation process on the Continuing Education of teachers, using authors such as Luckesi (2014), Hoffmann (2011), Demo (2004), Gatti (2014), Villas Boas and Soares (2016), among others, as a knowledge base on the subject. This research sought to answer the following question: How are teachers in the early years of Elementary School I being prepared to assume the essential role of evaluative teachers in the classroom? For the application of the research, we used a structured interview as a data collection tool. The research subjects were Elementary School Teachers that work in a public school in Manaus. The collected data was structured and interpreted according to the Bardin's Content Analysis technique (2016), which has 3 phases: 1) Pre Analysis; 2) Exploration of the material; and 3) treatment of the results. The analysis result indicates that teachers, after graduating from college and as they work as professors, are not fully ready to take on the role of evaluators, because they lack theoretical elements to support their evaluative practices, and can only rely on their experiences as students. The data also show the need of Continuing Education on Assessment of Learning through notes made by the interviewed teachers. With these results in mind, we proposed an Educational Product in the form of a Workshop. This workshop aims to help the Continuing Education in Assessment of Learning through discussion and reflection on the functions and objectives of assessment, and with that we hope to help the training of teachers on the subject. The product born from the research of the dissertation was subjected to an Ad-hoc commission, formed by the participants of the research, master teachers and doctors that work in the Basic Schools and Colleges. They made their contributions and approved the Educational ProducItem Protocolo operacional para permanência e êxito (Pope)(2021-12-15) Silva, Jeane de Lima; Azevedo, Rosa Oliveira Marins; Azevedo, Rosa Oliveira Marins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3056605003492861; Azevedo, Rosa Oliveira Marins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3056605003492861; Reis, Ailton Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7119484789256081; Peixoto, Marco Aurélio Nicolato; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2168810836048100; http://repositorio.ifam.edu.br/jspui/handle/4321/702This Operational Protocol for Permanence and Success, or simply POPE, is an educational product resulting from the Master’s research “Evasion and actions of permanence and success in Technical Professional Education of Secondary Level in the subsequent modality: the case of the Federal Institute of Amazonas - Advanced Campus Manacapuru, held in the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education – ProfEPT. The topic is being discussed since the developments that accompany the expansion of the EPT Network (Professional and Technological Education), including the dropout and retention rates. This work assumes that the measures to be adopted to ensure the completion of subsequent technical courses need to consider the specifics of each regional context and the profiles of the subjects served - that is why the analysis of the specific case in the Advanced Campus Manacapuru belonging to the Federal Network of Education, located in the State of Amazonas, 80 kilometers from the capital Manaus. Fifteen dropout students, 05 professors, 05 technical-administrative servers and the campus manager participated in the research. To develop the research, we used the case study method because it allows to investigate a contemporary phenomenon within its real context, in this case the investigated campus. The research results, based on the data analysis spiral proposed by Creswel (2014), pointed out that the factors that have led students from the subsequent modality of the Manacapuru Advanced Campus to dropout are: attending higher education; the feeling of discouragement with the course, due to different aspects, and financial difficulties for not having a professional occupation; sick leave and new job; insecurity and personal difficulties; lack of identification with the area; lack of flexibility in working hours; learning difficulties. In view of these factors, an educational product was created, entitled Operational Protocol for Permanence and Success - POPE, which aims to contribute to the permanence and success of students. This product was evaluated by twelve members of the research group and by an ad hoc committee composed of five social workers from the IFAM countryside campuses.Item EPTCanvas para negócios: um e-book economicamente criativo(2021-12-20) Costa, Lucyane Maria Castro; Souza, Ana Cláudia Ribeiro de; Souza, Ana Cláudia Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7472602272780097; Souza, Ana Cláudia Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7472602272780097; Queiroz Neto, José Pinheiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8055796489225138; Segura, Eduardo Alberto das Chagas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9420561442249158; http://repositorio.ifam.edu.br/jspui/handle/4321/700
