The generation of organic waste in Brazil, has alarming data, there is a culture of waste in the country, this fact was verified in an educational institution in the provision of daily meals to students who participate in a PNAES. However, not all students who submit to the edict are considered due to insufficient resources. Faced with this was thought how to reduce the waste of food, as well as the disposal of organic waste, reverting them in more benefits. In this way interviews and weighing and in loco observation of the wasted foods and the causes of this done, as well as possible solutions were made. Therefore, the objective of the research, from the standpoint of environmental management and reverse logistics, was to elaborate a data collection about the distribution of food and evaluate the effectiveness of the supply chain management and its characteristics. To point out how logistics works in this food supply process at IFAM - CMDI. Thus, during the month of analysis, the average number of dishes served to the 220 students was approximately 800 grams of food per dish, thus calculating the total wasted in the month, which was 124 kg of waste ingestion and 254 kg of bark of the preparation, it can be said that approximately 472 food dishes could have been provided the most in the month, benefiting more students with the social benefit related to food. If the knowledge of management and reverse logistics is implemented to make food distribution more effective, with fewer losses and to analyze ways of transforming losses into gains, within an educational process, it will be possible to contribute to a better service of the PNAES.

Our research started from a domestic demand, we identified along the graduation in logistics, a bottleneck in the transit and transportation of artifacts technology, projectors and digital whiteboards, negatively and continuously affecting the course load and the clear reality of the facts, the entire educational process. Therefore, we consider the relationship between logistics and technologies to support education and the processes of transportation, movement and storage of these artifacts. Understanding that the convergences of technology are fundamental in this path, but we cannot move away from the fundamental concepts of logistics as science innovative and constantly modernizing processes. The research method exploratory descriptive bibliography and field observation, allowed the research should start from the empirical perspective and rely on science to affirm the improvements in the measured logistic process. This time we consider as effects of all our observation, the impacts over time, which is reflected in cargo damage hourly, in teaching work, as it adds movement and thus increases possible professional fatigue, as well as support issues administrative, considering staff limitations.

in such a competitive market. The research was delineated in a bibliographic review in books, articles and magazines that present high impact factors, national and international specialized journals. The results show that integrating logistics has as one of its main objectives to minimize costs and allow all demand provided by the market to be met. An efficient logistics process has the power to offer the customer a level of service excellence by meeting the delivery deadline set by the company upon purchase. The current context shows us that with each passing day, customers are more often seeking a level of service excellence. This makes companies increasingly committed to not only reducing their costs, but also pleasing their customers in equal proportions. It follows that in a very competitive market, logistics expenses can offer an important competitive advantage for companies that are developing an effective system. Competitive advantage comes from services tailored to the company's special product requirements, making costs more efficient for each logistics element, acting responsibly, providing reliable service, good information, flexibility, good use of capacity, efficient inventory and loss prevention.
Analysis of the challenges of a private cardboard recycling company to fulfill its mission in the city of Manaus, Amazonas

O comércio de materiais de origem celulósica, como papel, papelão e outros, tem apresentado crescimento significativo em muitos países, principalmente por serem utilizados como revestimentos de embalagens e outras formas de reaproveitamento, fundamentos da logística reversa. Neste sentido, este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar os desafios que uma empresa privada de reciclagem de papelão enfrenta para cumprir a sua missão organizacional na cidade de Manaus, capital do estado do Amazonas. Para isso, seguiu as etapas previstas no método científico-tecnológico. Os dados foram coletados através de um roteiro de entrevistas e um protocolo de observação, organizados e analisados com o auxílio de técnicas de análise semântica, identificando-se termos centrais das respostas coletadas por entrevistas e comparadas com os dados observados; os resultados foram gerados com técnicas de triangulação das respostas obtidas com os dois instrumentos e interpretados de forma comparativa com o quadro teórico de referência. Os resultados mostraram que a) a empresa contribui para com a preservação ambiental através da destinação correta de materiais e limpeza dos locais públicos, b) essas contribuições são feitas através de obediência aos procedimentos legais, c) seus desafios são ter acesso a todos os clientes industriais e residenciais e conscientizar a população sobre a importância da preservação ambiental; d) população e governos são os agentes que podem ajudar a superar esses desafios através de e) conscientização da importância da sustentabilidade (população) capacitar e fazer a população colocar em prática a sustentabilidade (governo). A conclusão mostra que, ainda que lentamente, há tendência de aumento dessa conscientização desejada.

The work presented is about the disposal of cell phone batteries in shopping centers in the South center of Manaus, gathering data from research carried out through questionnaries to employees.. Information was obtained regarding the percentage of stores that have control over disposal, whether they have the disposal option and which reverse logistics practices exist.Finally obtained the data graphs were used to demonstrate the results and some personal opinions were added.Finally obtained the data graphs were used to demonstrate the results and some personal opinions were added. It was found that only in one of the stores interviewed has the disposal control for the batteries, so from the point of view, it is believed that this makes it difficult for the consumer to have a correct direction on how to it when the product in questions in no longer useful, that stores know that is necessary to collect batteries but here is still this problem about the lack of disposal control.
Difficulties in performing selective waste collection in the city of Manaus, Brazil

Estudos científicos cada vez mais têm mostrado que o que se chama lixo na verdade são recursos desperdiçados, tanto sólidos quanto de outras naturezas. Grande parte desses resíduos são gerados no interior dos domicílios urbanos e rurais, o que força os cidadãos a repensarem seu comprometimento com o reaproveitamento do que muitos ainda consideram como lixo. Este estudo teve como objetivo explicar quais são as principais dificuldades para a realização da coleta seletiva de resíduos na cidade de Manaus. Utilizou o método de levantamento, mas com a finalidade de gerar explicação aprofundada sobre como essas dificuldades acontecem, invertendo-se a lógica tradicional desse método. Os dados foram coletados através de um questionário eletrônico, com questões abertas, organizados e analisados com o uso de técnicas semânticas e os resultados foram gerados com as recomendações do método científico-tecnológico. A conclusão apresenta seis tipos distintos e interconectadas de dificuldades que impedem a efetividade da coleta seletiva de resíduos na cidade.

Este estudio buscó describir las principales dificultades que encuentran los recolectores en la recolección de materiales desechados en la ciudad de Manaus, en Brasil. El método utilizado consistió en analizar la práctica de tres recolectores que se mostraron dispuestos a brindar datos e información en profundidad, obtenidos a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas, realizadas en los propios lugares de trabajo de los encuestados, que luego fueron analizadas con la ayuda de la bibliografía conceptual. método e interpretado con la ayuda del análisis semántico. Los resultados mostraron que a) las principales dificultades son el esfuerzo físico extremo, el rechazo de las personas, las condiciones de trabajo insalubres, la falta de equipos de protección personal y la falta de participación de las personas, empresas y gobiernos; b) se presentan dificultades por falta de equipos, desconocimiento técnico de los materiales que se manejan, desconocimiento de la gente sobre la importancia del trabajo de los recolectores y falta de participación de la sociedad y de los gobiernos en la recolección selectiva; c) quienes podrían ayudar a minimizar estas dificultades son los vecinos, empresas y gobiernos y d) lo que pueden hacer los agentes es estructurar la recolección (gobierno), separar los materiales (habitantes), proporcionar más sitios de disposición (ayuntamiento) y donación de equipamiento y formación (empresas). La conclusión muestra que los agentes no están preparados para realizar logística inversa en la ciudad porque desconocen la importancia del trabajo de los recicladores para iniciar la economía circular en la ciudad. Propósito: El comercio electrónico es una satisfacción de necesidades propias de la era de la información. Basado en tecnologías contemporáneas, ha representado un canal emergente para multiplicar las posibilidades de satisfacer demandas en prácticamente todo el planeta. Para poder mejorarlo constantemente, los científicos y directivos se han preocupado por comprender mejor el comportamiento de los compradores online. En este sentido, este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar los factores determinantes del comercio electrónico según aspectos demográficos (frecuencia de compra, ingresos, actividad remunerada, edad y género) de estudiantes universitarios de una institución del Norte de Brasil. Marco teórico: El estudio se basó teóricamente en los factores y variables que determinan el comportamiento de compra del consumidor. Los factores como dimensiones analíticas formaron una arquitectura teórica, cada uno compuesto por sus respectivas variables y categorías de análisis. Diseño/Metodología/Enfoque: El método utilizado fue una encuesta, cuya población estuvo conformada por 51 estudiantes matriculados en el segundo semestre de 2022, de la cual se extrajo una muestra de 47 encuestados, ya que los demás abandonaron las clases. Los datos fueron recogidos mediante un cuestionario con preguntas cerradas, cuya validez fue verificada mediante la prueba alfa de Cronbach de 0,82, considerada muy conforme. Los resultados se generaron mediante la prueba U de Mann-Whitney, ya que el comportamiento de las variables no fue considerado normal por las pruebas de Kolmogorov-Smirnov y Shapiro-Wilkens. La conclusión apunta a un tipo de democracia virtual en la que se percibe poca diferenciación en los factores determinantes de las compras desde el punto de vista de las variables demográficas estudiadas.

This paper explores essential strategies in inventory management, highlighting cross-selling, the use of Big Data tools, and effective inventory control practices. Initially, we address the relevance of cross-selling as a strategy that goes beyond increasing sales, providing a personalized experience to the customer. We discuss the positive influence of Big Data tools on data analysis and demand forecasting, emphasizing their contribution to improving operational efficiency, especially using Python programming. The discipline of inventory control is examined, focusing on its importance in cost optimization and maintaining the balance between supply and demand. By exploring the practical application of these concepts, we highlight the importance of demand forecasting and efficient inventory layout for cross-selling strategies. We conclude by recognizing that data analysis is the central element of these practices, providing crucial insights for informed decisions and continuous improvements.

This study examined the importance of river transportation in theAmazon, focusing on the São Raimundo Port in Manaus, in light of thePorts Modernization Law. Employing both qualitative and quantitativeapproaches, including interviews with 10 boat owners, data were collectedon cargo volume, ticket prices, and vessel traffic. The competition amongsmaller vessels was highlighted as significant, with observations of ferryclosures due to lack of legalization, emphasizing the need for regulationand oversight. Results indicated that during dry seasons, cargo values rise,reducing ticket prices and stimulating increased vessel traffic. The portinfrastructure was deemed inadequate by respondents, lacking properdocking facilities. Most ferries are privately owned, while public ones servegovernmental entities. River transportation was underscored as crucial inmeeting the transportation needs of riverside communities.
Logística reversa na pós venda: os conceitos básicos e práticas operacionais

This paper addresses the issue of reverse logistics in the after-sales phase,focusing on the basic concepts and operational practices adopted bycompanies. The study’s main objective is to analyze the fundamentalprinciples of reverse logistics in the after-sales phase, investigate theoperational strategies employed by companies in its implementation andevaluate the impacts of this practice, considering aspects such as costs,sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Using a qualitative bibliographicresearch methodology, articles, and books available in virtual librariessuch as Scielo and Google Scholar were reviewed. The results indicatedthat companies adopt various strategies to deal with reverse logistics inthe after-sales sector, including the use of collection points, such as Pickup points, exemplified by Amazon. These points facilitate the returnprocess for customers and contribute to reducing operating costs andpromoting sustainability. The analysis of the basic principles of reverselogistics in the after-sales phase highlighted the importance of adequateinfrastructure and effective processes for dealing with product returns,exchanges and recycling. Finally, the evaluation of the impacts of reverselogistics in the after-sales phase showed that the effective implementation of this practice can result in reduced operating costs, thepromotion of sustainability and improved customer satisfaction. Logística como aliada na integração de pessoas portadoras de necessidades especiais no mundo profissional

This study analyzes how people with disabilities (PWD) are integratinginto the professional environment, using techniques of bibliographicanalysis and field observation through a case study. The bibliographicreview aimed to identify theories, concepts, and relevant research on thetopic, while the field research evaluated working conditions and the workenvironment to understand the challenges faced daily. We found thatthere is still a significant gap in knowledge about inclusion legislation andthe barriers encountered in the workplace. The study highlights theimportance of raising awareness and knowledge to promote inclusionand ensure equal opportunities for all. In summary, we used methods ofbibliographic review and field observation to examine how PWD arebeing included in the job market, emphasizing the need for inclusivelogistics to effectively integrate these individuals into the professionalworld.
