However, this immense diversity has undergone serious transformations, resulting from deforestation for soybean cultivation and pasture formation for the production of beef, leading to loss of species and changes in the climate of the whole of Brazil. And although the students of the city of Manaus are inserted in this context, research indicates that they know little about the dynamics that surround the Amazon Forest Biome. In order to carry out the research, the question of the dynamics of this biome has been problematized more specifically what the students know about the characteristics, importance of fauna and flora, and physical-chemical-biological processes that occur in the forest. The research aims to verify the knowledge of the students of the 3rd year of high school in relation to the content "Biome Forest Amazon", before and after this content is worked in the classroom. The methodological procedures used for the development of the research consisted of bibliographical surveys, composed of books, articles, dissertations. Analysis of the didactic book used in the classroom and two questionnaires were applied to the students, with semi structured questions, one before and another after the classes. Theoretical classes were held in dialogue. Thus, it is well known that after making a survey about previous knowledge to serve as a basis for the classes taught in order to teach about the dynamics of the Amazon Forest Biome, the questionnaire after such classes showed a progress in the level of environmental sensitivity.Item Educação alimentar: uma abordagem sobre rotulagem de alimentos no ensino fundamental(2019-12-06) Kakijima, Robson Vieira; Marques, Elizalane Moura de Araujo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5947297440627172; Marques, Jean Dalmo de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4558873160462915; Marques, Elizalane Moura de Araujo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5947297440627172; Marques, Jean Dalmo de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4558873160462915; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346This paper presents the studies conducted in the research entitled “Food Education: an approach to food labeling in elementary school and aims to develop a didactic proposal for teaching healthy eating, emphasizing the study of food labels. As a didactic strategy, a pedagogical workshop called “food labeling” was used, in which students learned to manipulate the information present on the labels of the foods they eat, in order to help them in choosing healthier foods. The research was conducted at the Leopoldo Neves State School, with 29 students from the 8th grade of elementary school and 01 teacher who teaches the discipline of Natural Sciences. The methodology used had a quantitative and qualitative approach. The collection instruments were questionnaires. The intervention was based on dialogued lectures and the pedagogical workshop. The verification of learning occurred through questionnaires and didactic script of the workshop. The results showed that the correct manipulation of the information contained in food labels is an important ally in the choice of healthier foods, as well as students' greater understanding of food, not only as a function of satisfying hunger, but also yes as a way of obtaining nutrients for the maintenance of our body cells and as a source of energy for the body. The manipulation of food labels using a pedagogical workshop emerges as a resource to assist teachers and students during the teaching-learning process of subjects related to food education, helping the teacher to develop diversified activities.Item O ensino de química: uma análise sobre a importância da experimentação nas aulas de química do ensino médio(2022-12-13) Silva, Celyane Gabriele da Silva e; Alves, Edilson Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0914810895785401; Alves, Edilson Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0914810895785401; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346; Barros, Maxiliano Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5680339300688041The following research shows an analysis about the value to introduce experimental chemical class joint of contente presentes into the classroom to create a connection with theory and practice, where the teacher can show the bond between study approached with a daily students class. The experimentation in the process of teaching-learning comes often used to show one science and/or chemistry less absent for who is learning, the practice classes works as visualization method and testify the theory and concepts as support for cheer up and excite the students turning something such attractive and which make more students cleaver in to the process of investigation. Heading this goal research, we aim for the main difficulties faced for the teacher in the execute process practice in their classroom, and also na outlook of students about the practice class of chemistry instruction. This research has explorer feature with emphasis on qualitative analysis. It was used as the methodology a quis for the students of a public high-school in Manaus, where was asked about their ideas about experimental class and leaving their opinion for those classes. Many schools presente a lack of solid place and materials for the experiments practice, by the way many teachers talk about the lack of time for for this kind of exercise and the crowded classroom. However, we can determine that for a good mode to get concentrate students to have a teaching process is because of effectiveness of experiments which can bring more easily to the classroom and reply at home, mainly in the application of experiments with low cost materialsItem Estratégia didática para alunos surdos: estudo dos modelos atômicos no ensino de ciências(2021-04-08) Lopes, Juliana da Costa; Alves, Edilson Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0914810895785401; Alves, Edilson Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0914810895785401; Santos, Ana Lúcia Mendes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4731643147452069; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346In relation to the current education system, the difficulty in finding alternative chemistry/ science teaching methods for deaf / hearing impaired students has motivated the development of actions aimed at teaching the basic contents of the discipline. Due to these facts, many educators have been thinking about new methodologies in order to help deaf / hearing impaired students. In this sense, we will present the concept of didactic sequence involving atomic models, content present in the curriculum of the ninth year of elementary school. Using data collection tools as a questionnaire, the research in question is essentially qualitative and quantitative. Some teaching resources were used, such as a playful game called “Atomic Trail” and a practice involving low-cost materials (clay modeling clay). This method was developed aiming at the difficulties that deaf / hearing impaired students have in the first years of high school. It is in the context of chemistry that these difficulties intensify, and the deaf student's learning takes longer, as he ends up not receiving the same amount of incentives as a hearing student. Based on the positive results regarding the use of experimental strategies and didactic games, deaf students correctly understood scientific concepts. Therefore, it has become a good choice to minimize difficulties encountered in the process of teaching and learning about the content of atomic models.Item Estratégias educativas para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de parasitologia: uma experiência com alunos do primeiro ano do ensino médio(2019-06-21) Nascimento, Marcela Souza do; Enriconi, Adriana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4273322336883518; Enriconi, Adriana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4273322336883518; Vale, Adriana Carla Oliveira de Morais; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4121425372985654; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346Parasitology is a branch of study of great relevance to society, especially in the field of education and health, but in basic education. It is taught transversally, always linked secondary to other subjects such as basic sanitation. However, it is a subject that needs to be further explored and contextualized in an integrated way, and that can be used as a tool for prevention and maintenance of health. In this sense, it is the emergence of the importance of creating new didactic alternatives that aim to facilitate the teaching-learning process in parasitology. Therefore, the didactic sequence (SD) is highlighted, which in turn is a set of activities organized and articulated with each other to work a particular subject in stages and / or activities in order to improve the teaching / learning process of learners . This study aimed to evaluate didactic tools of a playful nature in order to lead students of the 1st year of high school in the processes of construction and appropriation of knowledge about parasitology. The chosen methodology included a bibliographical, exploratory, applied nature and qualitative-quantitative approach. The didactic sequence (SD) developed for this study was composed of four moments: Moment I - Awareness raising and initial survey (initial questionnaire and expository class); Moment II - Problematization (Mind Map); Moment III - Organization of knowledge and development (Quiz and practical class in the laboratory) and Moment IV - Synthesis and finalization (Comic book and final questionnaire). Therefore, the didactic sequence reported proved to be a viable alternative, since the steps followed were well received by the students, and with active participation of all involved, denoting being a pedagogical tool that can be used as a promoter of health education, especially in what concerns the teaching of parasitology.Item A experimentação no ensino de química: reflexões a partir dos trabalhos do ENEQ(2021-12-16) Barros, Dorvanei Maciel; Lira, Wallace; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7834505234728150; Lira, Wallace; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7834505234728150; Herculano, Ricardo de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4506729004612039; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346This monograph addresses the theme of experimentation in teaching chemistry. We started with the following questioning: how is experimentation in high school chemistry debated at the National Meeting of Chemistry Education (ENEQ) in the period from 2012 to 2018?. Included in this study were theoretical discussions and dialogues on experimentation in teaching subsidized by Chassot (2003), Trevisan (2008) and Maldaner (2003). The general objective was to analyze the studies related to experimentation in high school chemistry. To achieve this general objective, we discussed the way experimentation is worked on in high school chemistry and analyze how experimentation is discussed in the articles published in the thematic axis Experimentation in Teaching in ENEQs from 2012 to 2018. The corpus The study was composed of the minutes of the ENEQs as documents forged by researchers, professors and scholars in the field of chemistry education. In the analysis within the theme, it was found that of the 106 selected works, 27% contemplated the approach of experimentation by demonstration, 21% by verification and 52% by investigation. The study requires continuing investigation of experimentation in teaching chemistry to understand the effectiveness of each experimentation approach in the high school context.Item As facetas da inteligência: o desenvolvimento das habilidades intelectuais pela prática do roleplaying game com base na teoria das inteligências múltiplas(2019-12-19) Rodrigues, Madson Rafael Souza; Lira, Wallace; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7834505234728150; Lira, Wallace; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7834505234728150; Vale, Adriana Carla Oliveira de Morais; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4121425372985654; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346Intelligence is a complex term that cannot be underestimated or abandoned to the mechanical factors of everyday life. It should be perceived as part of a constant reflection of its meaning and improvement regarding normative and non-formal learning practices. A possibility of integrating these factors requires that in their understanding a synthesis of their concepts be made in various views of Science and unite it with an approach that does not require standardization as the only path of improvement. This form may be the determination of the relationship between roleplaying game, a social and creative practice already used as an attractive teaching resource that can be associated with a different way of seeing intelligence, in this case, in the eyes of Howard Gardner's theory. Linguistic intelligence was chosen from several that the theorist presents came from the application of a questionnaire in groups of RPG players that contained 160 answers. These individuals presented their potentialities and the intelligence-developing elements that were compared from a perspective within Noam Chomsky's Generative theory that resembles Gardner's thinking in assuming that innate capacities are developed throughout an individual's life. biological, social and cultural aspects as major influences. The units Competence by Chomsky's visions were compared alongside their performances along with the necessary skills, finally, the competences by the Common National Curriculum Base for comparison purposesItem Fermentação alcoólica e fermentação lática: estratégia para ensinar alunos surdos/deficientes auditivos com alimentos do cotidiano(2019-11-29) Spíndola, Jesiane Andrade; Alves, Edilson Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1702387634067240; Alves, Edilson Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1702387634067240; Angeloto, Oraldo Eliseu; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3897124415873925; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346The difficulty of finding methodological alternatives for the teaching of Chemistry / Science to deaf / hearing impaired students, linked to the current education systems, motivated the elaboration of actions aimed at teaching the basic contents of the subjects. That is, in the inclusive school field, they end up causing demotivation for both students and educators. This fact leads many researchers to think of new possibilities for teaching deaf students. In this perspective, we will present an experience with the approach of the concept of fermentation, content of the curriculum of the second year of high school. In this sense, to investigate possible pedagogical practices developed in the teaching and learning process of deaf / hearing impaired students with emphasis on the study of alcoholic fermentation and lactic fermentation at the Federal Institute of Amazonas. The guiding research was qualitative and quantitative, having the questionnaire as a data collection instrument. Natural didactic resources (lactobacillus bacteria) were collected; experiments with low-cost materials (present in food) in order to develop teaching materials for use in the laboratory or classroom. Next, we relate with practical activities, the knowledge about fermentative processes with the essential concepts of Chemistry / Sciences, addressed in high school. To evaluate the learning process, the didactic game “sky of the chemist” was applied. Based on the positive results, the experimentation strategies and the didactic game, the students understood the scientific concepts correctly. Therefore, a great alternative to overcome some problems in the process of teaching and learning about fermentation contents.Item Formação de professores pela/para pesquisa: proposta pedagógica para o seminário interdisciplinar das licenciaturas do IFAM(Instituto Federal do Amazonas, 2017-04-04) Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; Azevedo, Rosa Oliveira Marins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3056605003492861; Azevedo, Rosa Oliveira Marins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3056605003492861; Gonzaga, Amarildo Menezes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2786554010520173; Maia, Dayse Peixoto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2263562348561670It is an investigation in the educational field, centered in the undergraduate courses in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas - IFAM, Campus Manaus - Center, with the objective of developing actions to insert Systematically professors of the initial training of the IFAM undergraduate courses in research processes, starting from SEMINTER. For that, a lesson plan was produced using the Constructive Alignment. Constructive Alignment is a way of aligning the teacher's goals with the methodologies to be used by him, that is, that the teaching and assessment methodologies are aligned. To achieve the objectives, the ecological ink workshop of Amazonian soils, “Tons da terra”, was used as one of the main resources to contribute to the improvement of teaching / learning, when the programmatic content on the forces of molecular interactions, taught, was approached. in Chemistry classes. This didactic sequence proposal was carried out in 4 classes divided into the contents on chemical, physical and biological weathering of minerals and rocks until the formation of soils (theoretical and practical classes of manipulation of minerals and soil-forming rocks), another theoretical lesson on intermolecular forces and the last practical class with the workshop for the production of soil paint and painting on canvas and other objects, whose objectives are aligned with the intended results for learning. For the analysis of the data, two questionnaires were made, one before classes and the other after classes and the workshop, with questions about previous knowledge about the topics covered. With the analyzes carried out through the questionnaires, it was noted that a positive change, where the majority (58.75%) evolved from simple actions such as "identifying" to more complex actions such as "relating", that is, there was a noticeable evolution in the knowledge of the students after the application and execution of the proposed lesson plan. With this proposal, students significantly improved their performance in the contents of soils and intermolecular forces. It is expected that the methodology presented to work on these contents is relevant to improve the teaching / learning of intermolecular forces, being a versatile methodology that can be adapted to other contents and reapplied by other interested teachers.Item O uso da experimentação no ensino da eletricidade e magnetismo no 9º ano do ensino fundamental(2019-12-04) Neri, Mateus Oliveira; Herculano, Ricardo de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4506729004612039; Herculano, Ricardo de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4506729004612039; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346; Cordeiro Neto, Marcelino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0074451912167520This is a proposal for the use of experimentation to teach electricity and magnetism in the 9th grade of Elementary School, which was carried out together with the Supervised Internship at the José Roberto Tadros Education Center - SESC in two 9th grade classes, with a quantity total of 70 students. The general objective of this work is to demonstrate that the use of experimentation can provide meaningful learning, and the specific objectives are: to investigate through observation, relevant characteristics of students for organization and planning of conducting; identify students' prior knowledge; use experiments to teach electricity and magnetism; and relate theoretical knowledge to experimental knowledge. This work is divided into four moments: observation, conducting, experimentation and data collection. This is based on the Theory of Meaningful Learning, proposed by David Ausubel in which a previous knowledge is related to a new knowledge, giving rise to a new knowledge present in the student's cognitive structure. During the project, two activities are proposed to students, one at the end of observation and the other at the end of experimentation. Thus, when analyzing the results obtained through the responses, it was found that learning, in fact, was significant.Item O uso de ACDLABS/CHEMSKETCH como ferramenta auxiliar no desenho de estruturas químicas, estereoquímica e reações orgânicas(2020-10-06) Castro, André Dutra; Bezerra, Jaqueline de Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4616893220707322; Bezerra, Jaqueline de Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4616893220707322; Santos, Joab Souza dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3728071437685207; Ferreira, Danielle Cristina Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3971794341049346The present work presents an experience of an intervention in a school environment in high school, in the discipline of organic chemistry. In our actions in the initial and continuing education of chemistry teachers, we have worked for a scientific education that emphasizes the need to contextualize chemical knowledge in the classroom, making it useful for the education of citizens. Del Pino et al. (1993) states that it is the application of knowledge that seeks to facilitate the understanding of chemical phenomena, and allows bringing chemistry teaching closer to the student's context and as a result motivation for the construction of their knowledge in the school environment. Starting from the need that many students have difficulty, in the 2nd year of integrated teaching of basic organic chemistry at IFAM (design of organic reactions), especially in practice reports, we sought to minimize this problem, with the proposal of using a chemsketch software for drawing molecules in chemistry, bringing up subjects used in organic chemistry. Most students have many difficulties when designing their organic structures, and as a result their reports are poorly structured, with images of dubious origin and often without a chemical incoherent design. Therefore, the research had as its subject: 2nd year students of Integrated High School in Chemistry at IFAM, Campus Manaus Centro, and the objective: To teach students the use of chemsketch software to be used as an auxiliary tool in the design of structures and compounds as well as their 3D structures. The methodology used was an online presentation of the step by step of using the software as an educational technological tool, easy to access and free to download. The results were obtained through forms and from the answers of this research, it can be said that the use of the educational software chemsketch allows students to acquire learning in an easy and contextualized way, helping in the construction of their knowledge and, concepts that , most of the time, they are new and difficult to understand and, mainly, visualization. It is expected that all students in integrated chemistry teaching at IFAM will have access to this software and use it in all their reports.
